Thx for the comment Anthony! There are many rich collectors out there who are willing to gamble on unopened materials. Just like a case of unopened basketball card sold for close to $1M that might include Lebron James RPA two yrs ago... insane!
Great information. I think the pack is neat, but seems too expensive without knowing if there is a card inside. I wonder if there is a way to X-ray the pack to see if there is a card.
Good question! X-ray would go thru the pack even if there's tobacco card inside. X-ray would show spaces between cigarettes and the fold of the inside foil wrapper.
It truthfully makes me wonder how people obtain these packs now and how they came about them. I've only known 1 person to find this type of thing in it's original condition through accidently comeing across it in a old house. We day dream about this kind of thing happening to us often bc of it's value. Makes you wonder which card was in these packs?
The excitement of opening these kind of packs are thru the roof.... Could be Cobbs sitting inside or no card at all or may be coupons that printed in thin paper.
Great pack analysis, truly enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Glad you enjoyed the video.
Crazy to pay that much, even for a pack with the cellophane. How many single T206 cards are worth $6600? Quite a gamble. Enjoyed this one, Pat.

Yeah I don't buy that it had a card in it either.
