Battlefield 1 is known for its large scale battles in a World War I setting. The game has been miraculously crafted with the gameplay and shocking immersion. But what if the game also integrated a Trench Warfare mode? Could something created from multiplayer matches be made with Bolt action rifles only (Back to Basics)? - could it be possible to also implement this setting to their unique mode, operation? And how would it look like without a HUD? DICE has finally made our dreams come true and changed the preset to make the combat more like World War I... For a limited time. This is Trench Warfare.

The best thing about this game is the fact that every background explosion and gunshot is made from players
I love how they actually play as if they're in a war, using cover instead of rushing and trying to quick scope someone who's ten feet away from them lol
@@DotKom01 Because Battlefield mechanics doesn't allow anyone to do that. You character feels weight, jumping won't giving you any advantage, dropshot either and for every movement except from the standards you will have consequences. Just try to dropshot or jumpshot someone, running around doing straight movements, sliding and etc.

Seeing the confusion in the soldier's movements makes it more realistic.
You know a game is amazing when you remember that it's not a campaign mission, this is just a everyday match
I play that way all times. With the good weapons for the country I play. I found that better for immersion.

I really wish there could be BTB servers on Xbox I like using standard issue rifles while having the more realistic assault uniforms

I like the video amazing work! But the music was louder than the gameplay. I do not know if you did that intentionally but, I see why you would make that decision as the video is a compilation not a single battle. But the music going bwaaaaa in your ears instead of the gunshots, explosions, and yelling. With my headphones at full volume all I felt was the rumbling of the music instead of the battle. Which the music choice you had was spot on and set the tone of what was to come, with my ears being being massaged with the tone of fear and dread. Witnessing an artillery strike as the soldier screams as loud as he can to get drowned out instantly with the crescendo of shells falling from the sky like rain, pounding your ears while making your headphones bounce would be a cinematic and immersive experience in my opinion.

I haven’t played it but watched some videos on Beyond the Wire. I think it might be a little slower than bf1, but if you’re into ww1 games you should check it out. Unfortunately I highly doubt battlefield will ever make another ww1 game

How do you get a preset like this where everyone has to use their country’s issued rifle?
It was only available for a week and the developers enabled the preset on operations. It’s not playable anymore

The back to basics feature was added to operations mode. I’m surprised by the amount of viewers not paying attention to the introduction I wrote. I did mention it in the video 😜

Actual story from me in BF1
Me: I'm in my position with Perino
I'm surprised that there only 2 other players defending the same plot of trench and then i start seeing the kill feed and it was crazy but on my front was quiet and the second biggest enemy offensive on my area is 1 scout and 1 assault getting close to my MG and there are even a HMG there and then we have to leave the area because an A7V and 5-7 players overwhelm our position so we have to retreat to other area with constant engagement that the kill feed is going crazy about. And my biggest embarrasment from this is I text in team chat "Where are the enemy?" Despise 80% of our team is at another area.
