I went to bed especially late last night watching all your vids/short and they completely align with what I'm experimenting with... a DJ/Milo style swings. It reinforced what I knew worked but couldn't quite replicate/put into words/feels... You guys are a different level of detail to everybody else which I really appreciate. You got yourself another subscriber..
ditto. this is really gonna help me too with getting the body moves correct because these guys explain it in detail. when i get it right things are good but i can't always keep it going.
This is the framework for my building blocks. Another interesting reflection. Detailed discussions makes it easy to understand and to remember vital information. Thanks a lot. Olle
A few weeks ago a friend of mine brought his ropeflow and he showed me some of the moves. They felt really nice but I didn’t know if that was going to help my golfswing. Thanks to this video I now know and I will certainty buy one and start adding this to my exercise routine.
I've been watching golf vids for years.First time I've seen your channel and I've never seen anything like this before...brilliant,i instantly subscribed 😉👍
Love this video. Been working on rib movement for a few months now and these exercises are a fantastic way to progress from theory to dynamic practise. So well explained!
When I thought these episodes couldn't get any better... Boom! Picked up the wife's yoga rope and got started. Directly realised the over-the-top direction felt really natural. I had a hard time getting started with correct direction. No power, hitting my legs with the rope. It felt like learning to walk again. But after a few minutes I started to get the hang of it. So cool! The rope exercise fits me perfectly right now since I'm battling a damaged shoulder and can't swing a golf club. Hitting too many balls with full speed, I guess. Slow is hard. 😅 Thanks guys!
11:14 When you talk about the ribs firing to push the water, it looks like you are addressing the pushing of the lower side/anterior side of the body. The rest of the video it seems to imply the high side/posterior side is what does the work. What is it that is doing the firing in the swing at this point? Is it both sides? He is just addressing the pushing in this instance? Is both sides responsible for taking away of the club of the ball, the rib tilt in the downswing, and the firing through the ball? Or, is once side better than the other for certain actions?
Hi Guys. I’m with Milo Lines at the moment but have been really enjoying your videos. I’ve got myself doing rope drills and think I’ve misinterpreted you by extending my lower spine (like you would doing a dead lift) in order to keep the pelvis back. Outcome has been a pretty sore lower back! Are you guys against that too? It looks like Riley is arching his back somewhat to keep his pelvis back when doing rope drills?
I was just thinking about how George Gankas teaches when you were demonstrating the rear end and back activation. His is very different. Could you elaborate on the differences and why?
I have a quick question. I love the idea of moving the water with the oar paddles. How can I ensure that I’m practicing that correctly? Are we dipping the oar in the water at the top and moving (rotating) the water through the finish? Can I sort of preset that, pause and rotate through to strike the ball? Because quite honestly, I’ve never felt that feeling in my golfswing and I’m a chronic early extender, hands flip at the ball. 80% of my swing is hands and arms. And everyone is constantly telling me I need to rotate more.. so hopefully this analogy will really help me.
You can definitely mess with presetting certain elements of this to make it easier. My biggest advice is to start very very slow, in front of a mirror so you can see the shapes. Good luck 🙏
Another fantastic video! Pure gold stuff 👊👊. I love how the production value has increased since the first video (which content wise was phenomenal, but I was straining to hear at certain points). One small thing I would suggest (which would help with new viewers) is to introduce yourselves at the start of each video. A new viewer would have no clue who you guys are.
I am going to try this I try to swing inside to out but ssometimes have a path that appears on the skytrak to be over the top ( clubhead path outside to in) . I feel for me to do that my trail should must be internal rotated. These drills seem like would help keep the trail shoulder in external rotation to get the club inside and shallow .
Great video. An additional information on where/how the pressure in the feet work as each oar enters the water and where the feet pressure is when the oar reaches max turn and where it goes as you start to transition the other oar into the water ? It always seems like my pressure is wrong so unable to move with the same fluidness you all are doing.
Been watching you guys for about 2 months now and starting to piece it together! Please tell me where I can get the rope. Looked on Amazon and can’t find it.
hi guys, can you ping a link to where I can buy one of those ropes? I figure amazon would do one, just want to make sure I get the right one - thanks + great vids - so interesting
Based on this video, I went to Home Depot to get a piece of rope. They have an awesome selection and a burn machine so it won't fray at the cut line. I bought 10' of 3/4" rope. I'm guessing that's too long and too thick. I'm curious if you have a recommendation so I can do these exercises correctly?? Thanks.
I have watch a lot of your videos and I don't see one that shows with this swing how to create a fade or draw and nothing is said about club path to create these fades or draws. If I was to do this swing will it produce a draw in the beginning or a straight shot.
I would be interested in your thoughts on the “Malaska Move”. At first blush, it seems to be the complete opposite of the swim move that you and Milo teach. But, it’s hard to believe that Mike simply is completely wrong. How do you think about what Mike is trying to say?
Once again great information. Wrong posture and this whole drill is compromised. Second look explains set up with pelvis to allow back chain dominance and proper moves….😊
This great golf site instantly gave me my best comp round, 2 over and i get the patterns But with this reverse kayak drill i cant stop my hips and legs from joining in! Im blaming hyper mobile joints but im 250lbs you would think gravity would help! Anyone else have this problem amd/or a solution!
@@elitegolfschools Thanks trying too, dont pelvic thrust But think ive spent too long moving my hips like reverse kayak whilst keeping my shoulders square and tilting! that they want to join in!
I don’t have any rope But I connected two fitness bands together (blue and black) and swung those along with added weight from handles. Any idea if it would work my muscles any differently than rope? I didn’t have much trouble understanding the techniques. I had to learn not to cheat on the first rope exercise, but the Dragon Swings felt like second nature. My body learned them faster than my mind. I used to dance as a child and teenager.
@@elitegolfschools I actually started randomizing the dragon rolls. So if I swung in over my head backward, instead of continuing the pattern, I would reverse direction for 1-2 reps, the reverse back. Sometimes I’d just repeat over the head front and back, turning back and forth, then randomly continuing the pattern for a bit then reversing, etc. It really took a lot of focus, and I found it fun.

Less to do with the rotation of the shoulder than the bend in the ribs - but that’s a topic for another video. Go get em bro!
