Thanks Thorin! I’ve taken to heart your conversation wi tu Charls Carrol in having a reverence for life and judging all inputs by their outputs.

That point on Hitchens is so bang on. Watching the Chris vs Peter debate as an angsty kid showed me how much more intelligent and charismatic Chris was. Watching as an adult I see how much wiser Peter proved to be.

Always loved the scope of your interests, Thorin. Definitely a well read and interesting person and I appreciate that a lot. Vanishingly rare these days. Excellent guest, also.
Thanks for another great episode. Cheers.

Thank you both for this conversation.
1:03:05 "...These things in the modern day really can lead to feeling like you are a medieval alchemist who's living in the inquisition, and you have to hide things, and signal to people with codes, you can't be overt about certain things"
This instantly reminded me of a quote from 15 years ago, right around when I had first heard "the N word" as an alternative to the original, Bill Burr said: "All you've done is given actual racists a map with all the landmines they need to avoid, and exactly where to not step."
Now, after this, I see it as the layer 1 strategy to a video game. Most people won't care to or won't be able to explore it further. Through either lack of interest or ability. And some people see this framing that I'm outlining and play the game anyway. They try to influence the world while bound by these layer 1 laws that anyone who is on layer 2 or beyond all agree are incredibly silly. it's essentially just a formality, a low-level-DPS-check. A way to filter out those who can use their minds, and those who are just loaning theirs out to your tribe.
I'm not sure what this means for humanity as a whole, but I know that I would like to continue orienting myself towards truth. Even purely selfishly, the company, discussions, and outlook are all infinitely better than the alternative. Thanks again to you both Thorin and William.

The current year internet is utter garbage, so I'm not surprised at all about that.

Interview Nick Fuentes. He can do a less political performance.
