@@jl1959 if what you say is true, then that makes Paul a Liar. When Paul gave his reason for woman remaining silent. He used Eve to prove his position. He didn't use the Corinth church or loud woman as an example
@brother brodin JESUS Did you know Paul? Paul didn't know you back then he and doesn't know you now. Paul did not write to your church. Paul did not write to America. This was thousands of years ago to the gentiles of Corinth where Jesus had told Paul to spread the gospel. People are getting scriptures mixed up in 1st Corinthians where it says for the woman not to speak. Paul was not talking about teaching in Corinth, he was talking about speaking an interpretation of an unknown tongue. In 1st Timothy's he was speaking that for a reason I don't have time to go into that right now. In the book of Phillipians Paul said that the women helped teach him in the gospel and labored with him also in the gospel with the men together with him. This is not with the women of Corinth. It was with the Jews that Jesus taught not Paul. As far as the women in Corinth Paul did not reject to the women to learn. They were there in the church. They were asking a lot of questions while he was teaching the men and wanted to focus on that so he told the women there to ask at home so he can finish teaching the men. These letters Paul wrote was not to you. We can learn from them through the letters he sent to the people he knew personally back then for edification. Being now brought to the future from the past these days are the days spoken by Joel the prophet. Today's days God has called men and women from their mother's womb to spread the gospel. Jesus is coming soon.

Being a pastor is not the same thing, as being an evangelist, sharing what the Lord has done in your life, and giving the good news to those who lost. Let your light shine before men can bring them to a pastor who can preach :-)
Actually no, God doesn't say women should be preachers, only teachers. Giving a testimony about what Jesus did, who Jesus is, isn't the same as being a preacher, and having authority over a church. God gave an order or hierarchy. God, Man then Woman. Since what happened in the garden with sin, and woman leading man astray...I've gotta disagree with you here. Man is the leader of the household, and women didn't have authority to preach to men in a church setting, Don't get me wrong. That doesn't mean they can't use their spiritual gifts to teach others. They are called to teach other women and children. Having the authority over the church. There are requirements for a pastor... A pastor must be devoted to his wife; a one-woman man (Titus 1:6; 1 Tim 3:2). The pastor’s marriage illustrates Christ’s love for His church-His bride (Eph. 5:22). A Pastor must love his wife exclusively with his mind, will and emotions and not just his body. A pastor’s children must be in submission, though not perfect (Titus 1:6; 1 Tim 3:4-5). If a man does not know how to manage his own family, he will not know how to take care of God’s church. God doesn't call women to preach. They sure do have numerous gifts to share with the church body.

Because, No, it does not mean there arent other areas where she is able to teach, prophesy, share the gospel or otherwise. The word used in Corinthians talks about it being a disgrace for a woman to lead a congregation... Where in the bible do you find women having ultimate authority over man?? You don't. The bedroom passage you mentioned, is equal authority, so one won't stray from the marriage looking for sex. God loves sex, with a husband and wife. So in the bedroom, a woman gets to be in charge of the husband's body, and the husband is in charge of his wife. Neither are supposed to withhold from the other. At no point did I suggest woman don't have many talents to be used for the Kingdom. Having ultimate authority over a church gathering isn't one of them. God has ordained that only men are to serve in positions of spiritual teaching authority in the church. This is not because men are better teachers, or because women are inferior or less intelligent (which is not the case). It is simply the way God designed the church to function. Men are supposed to be the example in spiritual leadership. In the way they live and through their words. The only activity women are restricted, is having spiritual authority over men. This makes it impossible for a woman to be a preacher/pastor/ over men.

Also to your point of where in the Bible do you find women having ultimate authority over man there are a lot of things that aren't in the Bible that aren't necessarily unbiblical for example it's not in the Bible that people video recorded others being delivered and being healed but that does not make it unbiblical for someone to record a Deliverance. I agree with you in your verse from proverbs. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not depend on our own understanding. If we arent relying on our understanding, but on Gods, and are trying to acknowledging Him in all our ways, we must continue searching for whats said in scripture. God is not the author of confusion. It wasn't one specific church. It was all of them. 1 Corinthians 14:33-37 says, For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. They will be won over by observing your pure and reverent lives.” Putting a woman in authority over men as a preacher is different than having a woman teach as a teacher. I saw you have made this point in other responses. I have mixed feeling about a woman teaching Sunday school to men or a mix of men and women, but I don’t have any issue with a woman teaching other women, children, or a husband and wife team as missionaries to men or men and women or just women. Spreading the word and teaching/preaching are 2 different things It basically talks about how women shouldn’t exercise authority over a man which means women can spread the word but don’t assume the role of a pastor because we are to “ adorn ourselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self control” and to “learn quietly with all submissiveness” and I believe he uses the names of Adam and Eve to represent our species as in woman in general to not be teachers forgive me if this comes off harsh but we need to help one another in understanding the Bible ❤️

Part 11 PAUL STATES THAT WOMEN SHOULD BE SILENT As in all the churches of the saints, the women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church. -excerpt 1 Corinthians 14 In this matter Paul speaks of the 'law'. There is a small possibility that he is referring to a Roman or local law. If not, then Paul is stating that Christian women were still under the Old Covenant laws. Yet there was no Old Covenant law that states that women should be silent. Then the daughters of Zelophehad...came forward. They stood before Moses, before Eleazar the priest, before the leaders, and all the congregation at the entrance of the tent of meeting, saying, “Our father died in the wilderness, yet he was not among the group of those who gathered together against the Lord, in the group of Korah; but he died in his own sin, and he had no sons. Why should the name of our father be withdrawn from among his family simply because he had no son? Give us property among our father’s brothers.” So Moses brought their case before the Lord. Then the Lord said to Moses, “The daughters of Zelophehad are right about their statements. You shall certainly give them hereditary property among their father’s brothers... -excerpts Numbers 27 These women were not rebuked, even though they spoke before everyone, including Moses. What they asked for was granted to them, because God agreed with them.

Continue 1 Timothy 2:13-15 NIV For Adam was formed first, then Eve. [14] And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. [15] But women will be saved through childbearing---if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.
I am not a feminist and I believe in Godly marital submission. I’m simply making a point that women are also preachers along with men. It’s important to read the verses you quoted in context, you should read some commentary
the word used for authority in "i do not permit a woman to teach, nor usurp authority over a man, but to be in silence" in the greek refers to an abuse of authority not authority in and of itself. The word used is never used again in scripture so it is not the same as authority in other verses. Women can prophecy/be prophet 1 cor 14:31 Luke 2:25-38, reveal/tell john 20:16-17, speak 1 peter 4:10-11, read to men 2 kings 22:11-20, explain to knowledgeable man Acts 18:24-26 older women teach what is good titus 2:3, lead with authority Judges 4 and 5, have sexual authority over husband (vice versa) 1 cor 7:4. @@scouthart3062 For a woman to preach is abuse of the highest authority. The authority of God's Word. It says plainly that a preacher is the husband of one wife! 😔 I'm a woman and think what God said in His Word is important and needs to be heeded!!! 🙏🏻❤️✝️🕊️
@@scouthart3062 Women are not permitted to preach scriptures to men! You have yet to show me in God's Word that this is His will for women to preach! 😔 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; one that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (for if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless. Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. I love what your doing by inspiring all those that see and believe the gospel of Christ Jesus the Lord. This is a wonderful thing, but No, the folks that lived in the town with the Samaritan woman, did not believe because of what she told them, they believed because they saw and heard Christ Jesus as he was, and because he stayed with them a short while, so that they might see the truth. This is what led the towns people to believe in Christ Jesus, it was Christ Jesus himself. The fact that he revealed himself to her first, was amazing all by itself. Nothing more needs to be added to change the impact it had then, and still has now. Changing the interpretation of the holy scriptures to fit the message of what your trying to relay to others, is not the way sister. The bible makes clear exactly where God stands on this subject very clearly actually. God created man, He then created woman from the man, the order is simple, Man serves God, for they are subject to him, and women serve the man for they are subject to them. Both are to love God above all else, and women teaching other women is absolutely fine, but women teaching men is not of God. Please don't forget the scriptures, those that love the Lord, will want to do his will in all things. The more we hold tight to the Lord, the more we push the world and it's ways, away from us. The idea of women being preachers/pastors of congregations is not found in scripture, it's doctrine created by the world, not by God. I say nothing to hurt you, please know this, I love my brethren, and I have no doubt at all that you are a sister in Christ Jesus, and for this I am truly thankful. I see that you have a platform and the ability to reach woman in many places that others cannot. Stay true to the scriptures, don't change your view to fit the world, teach the world through the bible alone, and let God do what he does! @@lijah7150 the Samaritan woman testified about the fact that he told her about everything she ever did. Which is good for us all to do. The scripture doesn't even say he instructed her to tell anyone. Why are u adding to the scriptures?
No. Jesus was demonstrating the equal value of women, and that women have an equal voice/power/say as a man...in their capacity as women. Nowhere did He call her to a masculine authoritative position over men, however. She wasn't a "preacher." She spoke of what she saw. That's much different than God calling her to the office of priest/minister/pastor. Generally God prefers when men take on the leadership responsibilities. He's not saying women can't. He's saying that they shouldn't if there's a suitable man for the role. The Bible lists exceptions to this when necessary (again, proving our fundamental equality). If men didn't exist, we'd live on (and if women didn't exist, men would live on). However, when men are available and willing to, we should step aside and let them be men. Let men be what God called them to be without feeling like our equality is being threatened or our value insulted. That isn't the point of the biblical gender roles. A man's power is through his authority as he provides and protects. A woman's power is through her influence as she cares for and nurtures. A Christian should pick their career/lifestyle accordingly. I disagree with women seeking authoritative offices. That's my very unpopular opinion. An issue with feminism is that women sought the male dominated, high status, authority jobs (which, funnily enough, REMAINED male dominated after society got freedom of choice/opportunity since God MADE MEN specifically FOR this), but these same feminists aren't lining up at the coal mines demanding "equality." Yep, not all male dominated fields come with glory. We're DIFFERENT, get over it.
No. Women are called to EVANGELISM, not to preach from behind a pulpit. Pastors are MEN, not women. Women are called to learn in submissive and to teach younger women to obey their husbands and to live reverent lives.
I’ve always heard 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 quoted to say that women should not speak in the church because it is disgraceful for them to do so. Has anyone ever asked why is it not disgraceful for a man to speak in the church? Yes Paul said what he said in a certain cultural context and we must learn to appreciate, understand, and interpret what he meant in that culture. But we cannot change what scripture says, nor can we come up with alternate meanings of the text. We must humble ourselves to allow scripture and the Holy Spirit to change us, not the other way around.
Paul had some false teachings. He wasn't a perfect teacher. _________________________________________________________ Taken from my essay on Paul's teachings (below): PAUL STATES THAT WOMEN SHOULD BE SILENT As in all the churches of the saints, the women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church. -excerpt 1 Corinthians 14 In this matter Paul speaks of the 'law'. There is a small possibility that he is referring to a Roman or local law. If not, then Paul is stating that women were still under the Old Covenant laws. What they asked for was granted to them.

Beautiful young lady, many women are offended when it comes to this subject, but know that men are supposed to be pastor in a church. That doesn't mean women cannot lead in the many other areas of opportunity God has provided us, but leading in the church is specifically for a man, which has great responsibility and they better lead according to God's Word!
Women aren’t called to be completely silent in church. What Paul meant by being silent in church was that women should not be preachers. Yes, women can evangelize to anyone but God called MEN to be leaders of families and churches. Being a preacher is NOT what women were called to do.

You’re correct that the women he is writing about were specific, because they were being disruptive, wearing fine jewelry, and ultimately usurping the authority of her husband. Women can teach but they cannot be shepherds. The Bible says; any Gifts that any one have is the same Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12-14 King James Version (KJV) 12 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. 2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. 4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many. As for me, I absolutely don't have any problem with women being pastors or leaders in church. God said He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh, and both sons and daughters will prophesy. How do daughters prophesy to God's people if they don't speak at all in church? Remember, that women held leadership roles in Scriptures, right from the Genesis to the Revelation. Deborah, a woman was a judge In Israel, and she led a whole nation, which is way larger than a congregation. Also, Josiah, a little boy became king at eight years old. This is to show that this concept of women not preaching in church is satanic. The church is not a men's cult but the Ecclesia of God, and anyone can function as He permits, regardless of gender. God calls whoever He wills, and empowers whoever he wants. God can use anybody at anytime for whatever purpose He wishes, and we can't do anything about it, he's God. If God can use a donkey to speak to Balaam and little David to defeat Goliath, what the entire Israel was afraid of, why can't he use a woman to lead His church? Don't demonize what God deems appropriate. If you're a woman reading this, and God is calling you to minister, go ahead and don't let the devil use these religiously brainwashed folks to stop you. #EvangelistGlobal
Another thing too EVERY time women is used in the Bible to spread a message or was placed in a man’s role (like Deborah,) was because the men of Israel at the time were not acting as they should. When women put themselves in mens roles and take over their burden as well as their own society suffers.. this is super clear and biblical. Have you read the Old Testament at all? Have you read any of the other books of the Bible that were taken out? Have you asked for wisdom truly on this topic bc trust NOONE would prob want to want to preach more than I . I have a big mouth and a lot to say as a woman I realize I could probably teach people ALOT but I would be blaspheming my role that God has given me as a women. NOTWITHSTANDING SHE SHALL BE SAVED IN CHILDBEARING, IF THEY CONTINUE IN FAITH AND CHARITY AND HOLINESS WITH SOBRIETY.
1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 gives the Biblical qualifications for an elder and overseer (Pastor) and these qualifications are meant for a man not a woman. 1 Timothy 2 is absolutely clear on the issue, here is another example found in 1 Corinthians. 1 Corinthians 14: 34 The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. 35 If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church. (NASB). The Bible is not dictated by culture, we cannot allow the feminist movement to conflict with the divine order set by the Lord.
Preaching isn’t about empowerment, it’s about sharing the message GOD wants you to speak. Mary was sharing her testimony. Evangelizing and sharing the gospel is much different than preaching.
The list of women in the New Testament who led in the spread of the good news about Jesus is impressive: Mary and Martha, Phoebe, Chloe, Priscilla, Lydia, Junia, the four daughters of Philip, Euodia, and Syntyche. These are all notable examples of women who were visibly present in the gospel story. Women traveled with Jesus, prayed over him and with other disciples, led churches, mentored other evangelists, and led in assemblies. Women were last at the cross, first at the tomb, and the first to be told to, “Go and tell others.” Jesus himself chose a woman to be the first preacher of the gospel. It was Mary to whom the resurrected Jesus said, “Go and tell the others” (John 20:17). Women were evidently leaders in early house churches. The home, which was the domain of women, was the primary location of the early church and it is this location that shaped its early identity as a “family,” and as a message of freedom from oppression in all its forms. The New Testament narrative clearly notes the integral role played by women in the development of the first-century church, and it is surely no coincidence that after Paul meets Lydia in a gathering by the river and presides over her conversion, she invites him into her home (Acts 16:1-15). But what of those passages in Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians (14:34-36) and in his First Letter to Timothy (2:12), often cited to discredit women as leaders of men and as preachers? These passages must be read within the context of the overall message of the Bible. They must be read through the lens of Deborah’s story, through the lens of Mary’s charge, through the lens of Galatians 3:28 (“there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female”), and the lens of Priscilla and Junia who labored in the gospel with integrity. God has surely not called all women into vocational, pastoral leadership (just as he has not called all men either), but he has surely called some. The Bible itself testifies to this. They were clearly partners in the proclamation of the gospel, and this partnership is embedded in the creation story. Men and women fulfill each other’s contributions to the Kingdom. Male and female are partners in the work of realizing God’s Kingdom on earth. In some obvious ways men and women complement one another, and in all ways they are in partnership. Without exception, the Bible must be read within its historical context. Paul’s letters are not bound historically, but they are rooted historically. What we know about women in the world of the first century is that they were seldom if ever given the opportunity to lead. They were largely uneducated. They had little or no experience in speaking and leading at public gatherings. But in the early church they found freedom they had not experienced before, and Paul’s instructions were instrumental in making that possible. He fostered a climate where women were educated, encouraged to ask questions, and to lead. In his letters, he honored a number of women partners in the proclamation of the gospel. For all of us, Jesus’ words carry much weight. His commands and charges at his resurrection were all gender-neutral. “Go, make disciples” (Matthew 28:19). “You will be my witnesses” (Acts 1:8). And, “Take up your cross and follow me” (Matthew 16:24). These commands and commissions were not spoken to only half an audience in the first century; likewise, they are not spoken to half an audience today. Contemporary women church planters owe much to those first-century evangelizing women who embraced the whole gospel, believing Christ had called them to proclaim the good news. The first-century church proved that when men and women work together to build the Kingdom of God, operating in freedom and in the power and giftedness of the Holy Spirit, the effects of the Fall are reversed, and the glories of the gospel are made manifest.- wesleyancovenant.org/2018/08/22/biblical-women-and-the-spread-of-the-gospel/
With Everything you said, you have absolutely no examples of a woman pastor. Deborah was judging Israel, Not leading a church. Big difference. To say we need to understand Paul in the contex of Deborah is incorrect.. We need to see What Paul is saying in light of ALL of scripture.. When you focus on certain specific areas, you're bound to go astray. There is neither new nor Greek, male or female..... This doesn't work at all. Many LGBTq members use this verse to justify same sex marriage. And if we look at it through your interpretation, then they will be right. Since it will no longer be homosexual since they are now "genderless" being in the Lord. But that isn't what that verse means. It's saying All can be saved no matter gender background, history, etc.. Mary was never a preacher. And if she was, it's actually an insult that the first preacher wasn't even an apostle. But that isn't the case. She evangelized which is EVERY Christians duty. She simply spread the gospel. She didn't become a pastor and begin to lead men. What your doing Is pretty much a smoke tactic. Your taking the focus off the commands and showing why they don't mean what they say through other means not mentioned in scripture. This is what Eve did. She reasoned why it was ok to eat the fruit against a blatant command. Your 101 reasons why woman can and should teach doesn't take away from the commands of God.
You are 100% correct that the Bible does say those things. However, those are very different situations than a woman being in a pastoral role in a church. Paul writes, “I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet” (1 Timothy 2:12). Thus, if we put together the scripture that you cited as well as this one and some information from Titus chapter 2 that Craig with praise and worship cited in his comment, we see that women can learn scripture and teach it to each other. They simply cannot have a preaching role in a mixed congregation.
Also the woman at the well, the samarian. Also in Timothy, the word for teach can also be translated to admonish, which makes better sense. The OT prophetess Deborah, was also a judge. Priscilla spread the gospel with her husband. We are answerable to our husbands but can teach with them ie Priscilla, again. We are ONE flesh in marriage, one body, in Christ, it is a mutual equal body and Christ is our head. God bless ❤
Paul starts his instruction by saying "As in all churches of the saints"...this was clearly practiced amongs the early churches as a law of scripture and should be mainted in this age and the age to come because Gods word does not change with the times
1 Timothy 2:12-15 “I do not let women teach or take authority over a man. They must be quiet. 13 That's because Adam was made first. Then Eve was made. 14 Adam was not the one who was tricked. The woman was tricked and became a sinner. 15 Will women be saved by having children? Only if they keep on believing, loving, and leading a holy life in a proper way.”
It’s a difference. This sounds more on the side of evangelism tho not pastoring/ or taking full leadership. But, to each their own 🤷🏽♀️ . 1 Cor 14:33-34, Titis 2:1-15, Acts 21:9, 1 Cor 11:1-4, Luke 2:36-38 since God said this in 2 Tim 3:16-17..I thought I’ll share these verses to help someone

Man is the leader of the household, and women didn't have authority to preach to men in a church setting,
Don't get me wrong.

@@craigwithsomepraiseandwors9598 for one you would have to Define what you mean by ultimate authority over a man and if you would conclude that Deborah counted as having ultimate authority over men in judges 4 and 5. Secondly where does the bible say having ultimate authority over a church Gathering is not and cannot be one of them? At the end you said it would be impossible but With God all things are possible. If we arent relying on our understanding, but on Gods, and are trying to acknowledging Him in all our ways, we must continue searching for whats said in scripture. God is not the author of confusion. It wasn't one specific church. It was all of them. 1 Corinthians 14:33-37 says,

Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church."
Part 11
PAUL STATES THAT WOMEN SHOULD BE SILENT
As in all the churches of the saints, the women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church.
-excerpt 1 Corinthians 14
In this matter Paul speaks of the 'law'. There is a small possibility that he is
referring to a Roman or local law. If not, then Paul is stating that Christian women were
still under the Old Covenant laws.

These women were not rebuked, even though they spoke before everyone, including Moses.
What they asked for was granted to them, because God agreed with them.
Looks like Paul was not reprimanding the disruptive woman in that congregation.
This is another excuse by feminist taking over the role work of Man before the lord. Here is the passage. Good attempt to dissuade and mislead many.

This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

You are loved and cared for, May God bless and keep you sister, today and always!🙏
The Bible clearly states that Christ sent the woman to preach. Reread it alone in the Spirit. Stop bashing what God has raised up. In Jesus name.

An issue with feminism is that women sought the male dominated, high status, authority jobs (which, funnily enough, REMAINED male dominated after society got freedom of choice/opportunity since God MADE MEN specifically FOR this), but these same feminists aren't lining up at the coal mines demanding "equality."
Yep, not all male dominated fields come with glory. We're DIFFERENT, get over it.
Amen

Paul gave his reasoning for what he said to the church in 1 Timothy 2:13, when he said that God created Adam first, and then Eve.

1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 gives the Biblical qualifications for an elder and overseer (Pastor) and these qualifications are meant for a man not a woman.
1 Timothy 2 is absolutely clear on the issue, here is another example found in 1 Corinthians.
1 Corinthians 14: 34 The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says.
35 If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church. (NASB).

Women were last at the cross, first at the tomb, and the first to be told to, “Go and tell others.”
Jesus himself chose a woman to be the first preacher of the gospel.
1 Timothy 2:12-15 “I do not let women
teach or take authority over a man. They must be quiet.
13 That's because Adam was made first. Then Eve was made.
14 Adam was not the one who was tricked. The woman was
tricked and became a sinner. 15 Will women be saved by
having children? Only if they keep on believing, loving, and
