I’m new to the hobby…. But loving these videos. Funny, with video games I’m all about the gameplay - but with board / war games…. I’m all about squeezing narrative into this thing! Immersion!
This may be my favorite style of battle report! Love the narrative style. It brings a lot of tension to the game; makes you feel invested in the characters and story. Because of your battle reports I have ordered a copy of The Silver Bayonet and am eagerly awaiting it’s arrival. Thank you for all the effort and time you put into these amazing battle reports. Consider me entertained and inspired.
In my mind, the vampire who was chasing our Chasseurs de Cauchemar suddenly stops, unable to continue, held back by something, grimacing with hatred, promising himself to find them later. The camera rises into the air bending down to reveal a thin stream blocking its path... "Meilleure chance la prochaine fois, Vlad." ;) Great video! Hourrah!
I absolutely freaking love these- from your atmospheric script with great action movie dialogue & characters bickering to the gripping retelling of the battle! I'm a tiny bit sad the vampires didn't get to introduce themselves more formally but there's always next time! These rule, and I can't wait to see Chapter 3: The Troll Hunts!

Oh man this series is great, I hope you come back to Silver Bayonet! If you haven’t already, you should consider 5 parsecs from home/5 leagues from the borderlands. I think they’d be great with your narrative flair.

I'm not typically a fan of battle reports. I find them dry and I get bored quickly. Not these though. I'm into it. very engaging. I have a campaign of five leagues from the borderlands that I'm six turns into. You're inspiring me to flesh it out a bit more than I have been. Keep it up and thanks.
