- We're homeward bound, covering over 3,400 km in the last 13 days of our trip.
We accidentally joined a swarm of unruly, young motorcyclists, but resisted the temptation to follow their example :)
In Amsterdam we hired a tandem to "blend in", but "blend in" we most certainly didn't!
Running down sand dunes takes me back, more years than I care to remember.
A lake swim between main course and dessert is a first for me.
Finally, what did we get up to on our non-riding day in Vik? Practicing for a Guinness World Record attempt ... fastest circumnavigation of a BMW R1300GS walking on my hands (with legs supported).
For the whole trip, the daily average cost of fuel was £17.71 (total £1,505), food was £55.62/day (total £4,672), accommodation £66.92/day (total £5,621), other transport costs (e.g. trains & ferries) were £838, tolls/vignettes were £85, tours/entrance tickets were £273 and souvenirs £152 :) Therefore, the cost of the whole trip was about £14,500 (including sundries such as bike servicing and tyres).

Thank you ProfG :) Since it took a long time to produce the videos (even to my amateurish standard), I decided to leave the last few days footage until we got home so that I could savour every minute of the last leg :)

Fair point, but I think the ones that could be identified were riding within the law. I agree, you can't be in full control of a bike doing a wheelie.
