- Back with a rebuild of one of my favorite bionicle G2 characters Umarak. This is actually my second version of him. This time round, my inspiration is actually based on the Swampthing....a towering mass, tank like in nature. Here in this vid i share the techniques used and also i used a new way to build the legs for this moc. Hope you all like it ^^

Why do I feel like the fans have more vision and passion than the creators these days?
Not often you see system and ccbs looking so good together.
Most of the time the creators have a bigger vision but Lego has a limited budget and they are mostly aimed towards kids.
Why can’t we get some crazy giant ccbs set?

I love the way you used the regular system bricks to make the armor hug the body, I've found CCBS armor tends to look a little flat without a lot of work and the techniques you used to smooth out the design and add bulk are really inspired, makes the whole MOC flow nicely. Next time I go a-MOC-ing with my little brothers I may have to try a few of these techniques out for a spin!

Normally lego channels like these only specialize in either bionicle/hero factory builds, or standard lego builds. Its nice to see such a talented builder using elements from both styles of building to create incredible creations. Something almost no other channel does.
Thank you very much!!! I actually started off building with system mechs first. Its only recently last year that i really got into bionicle based builds hence i kinda of port over some of the techniques that i used for system based mechs over to fill up the gaps that i usually see in herofactory / bionicle builds.
This is outstanding! I just love how creative you are with all your MOCs !

I especially love the chest and the custom head, really cool. The hands are a little simple, but not many custom hands look that good and can actually hold stuff in a peg slot, so again well done.
Im currently designing some custom, individual, double jointed hands, that not only can hold a large (and by large i mean LARGE) sword, but also fit the proportions of my 150 cm tall combiner, which is slightly hard to do.
If you could give me any suggestions as to what i could do, it would be much appreciated.
I have yet to build combiners at the scale so will be hard for me to advise you as to whats to be done. If you are using a large sword even with the friction adders the ball joint won't be able to hold. You might have to make a separate stand for the sword during the poses
