@@Kinsey_ I’d be cool with Core and Legacy running simultaneously. What they should do is End the show and the sets based on the show 😹😹 or at the very least deliver a HARD reboot. Enough with this soft reboot garbage.

the Classic spinners will always be the best. I wish Lego would bring them back, they had a nice weight to them that made them really satisfying to spin and battle.
@@skeletonking27 That was by design though. The whole Idea behind the OG 2010/2011 spinners were that they battle and try to knock each other off. It was a whole game with card effects and everything. They're meant to come loose, it's part of the gameplay pattern.
@@Majorlydevilish I get that, but I would also like them to keep themselves in there lol. IMO the legacy ones are the best. They have the tornado shape, they look great when spinning, you can still attach stuff to them, and you can still play the game but now instead it's who stops first. (Although occasionally they do fall out 😅) plus there's lots of colors so it doesn't have to be just the ninja. You can use any figure and have it make sense and look cool.
I remember when I first saw the LEGACY spinners in stores. I was out of LEGO at the time, but when I saw them, the nostalgia of the 2011 wave of spinners came rushing to me, and I instantly fell in love with these spinners, and made it a holy crusade to get all of them. I believe it took me a total of 8 months to get them all, since I didn't make any money at the time, and my Dad really helped me get them! And when I had them all, I was fully back into LEGO as a hobby! These spinners will hold a special place in my heart, just like the 2011 ones before them!
I like The OGs for How they were Executed, Legacy for bringing back that similar feel but with an actual Tornado (tho the card game part is kinda a r.i.p.) and Airjitzu, while it is a gimmick, it works better than any of the other more Gimmicky styled Ones. Burst was also pretty decent but They either should have made all the Ninja's or just Cole.
I'm one of those who grew up with 2012 spinners, and seeing Ninjago coming back to it's roots, was amazing. I got Zane's, and it was great. Even tho, I like the s11 fs better, as they are for more display.
I always thought that the fs spinners were the best. The shape was more compact and looked more show accurate in my opinion. Plus the four bars on the legacy spinners, were looked really annoying if you didn't have any weapon attachments on.
Despite being the best depiction ever made for spinjitzu, theyre the weakest in terms of playability and collectability. Nevertheless they hold great value as a part pack, and work out extremely well as stop motion props.
Even if I was, like 3 years old at the time and couldn't experience the OG spinners, I still think they are the best for the whole game that was with them. I think LEGO should bring them back, just maybe looking a bit more show-accurate. The Legacy Spinners didn't qutite do it for me, I don't like the clip and bar system used here, I prefer the studs and technic pins. I imagine they would have a spinner base similar to the OG ones, but with an accurate spinjitzu tornado on top.
I got one of these for Jay in the Shuricopter set from Season 11 & it’s nice to see there’s a lot more of them. I’ll probably get one of the 2 for Zane at some point to go with my 25 versions of the character I have now.
my favorite spinners are the legacy spinners, that spinner launcher with the FS spinners (the launcher itself not the spinners, the spinners are good but its the launcher that got me) and the spinjitzu burst spinners cuz i like the gimmick.
I wish they would make the new spinners for all ninja. Like why do Cole and Nya not have fs spinners. Zane, Cole and Nya not having the core ones etc (spinjitsu burst makes sense since only Cole can do it)
As a matter of fact, Cole and Nya DO have FS spinners, just not Spinjitzu Slam sets. All of the ninja, including these two, have a spinner in one of the season's larger sets (I forget which ones). But they don't include the launchers or the screw tips, and they are differently colored. For example, Kai's Slam spinner is pearl gold and transparent orange, while his "with set" spinner is red and glittery transparent orange. Additionally, in said sets, the ninja have the "Forbidden Spinjitzu flaming-hood" headpieces, but the hood itself is the ninja's typical color, and the suit is standard. My point is, no, Nya and Cole don't have Spinjitzu Slam sets, but they do have spinners from that generation.
I personally like the fs spinners, the ones that look like the legacy spinners without the bars. I think they're more accurate to the show, that just my opinion though
I hate airjitzu bc one time my friend brought one to school and we put my Bane minifigure in it and it went on the roof. luckily someone found it up there a few weeks later so i got it back

In terms of actually keeping the characters in there it's kind bad especially because they come loose.

The FS ones are my favorite. They don’t spin as well or have attachments, but for purely show accurate display value in a build they look great

Play value isn't really what I look for in the spinners. It's show accuracy. Thats why these and the Airjitzu Fliers are my favorites

I own all 8 of the legacy spinners, turned the attachments into furniture for the ninja
I bought the 3 core ones, my little brothers love playing with them, the ripcord is easier for them than the ones without.
