Scott needs to be back in the park!!! He can read and be comfortable and enjoy some solitude without the roar of constant traffic. I hope he likes the books I chose for him. I gave him a little variety this time.

That dude in the red hat was awesome. He knew he needed your help. But he knew you were hurt and he was taking care of you. He knew you were hurt that Trevor wasn't doing well, he wanted you to keep helping people so he tried to boost your spirits. That just goes to show no matter where you are in life you can always help somebody. Kindness is not an option.

That was me helping everyone, anyone with food, clothes, rides... taking families/kids camping, canoeing, hiking etc even money for over 30 years I was helping the same people til I lost my sight, cannot drive or comfortably read and not One person has called, inquired if I need anything ... a ride to the store, take my Gidget, my Best Friend, to get her nails clipped, go anywhere ... I've needed a haircut for years and messed it up attempting to cut it myself. I haven't been anywhere, or Gidget, for years and she doesn't understand why we don't go byebye in the car anymore where she sat in her carseat and LOVES driving. I'm trying to find a trike with basket, for Gidget, and reflector lights so we can just ride. She is 21 years old and I want her to have fun memories before one of us 'goes' , although we've made a pack to 'go' together... I have peripheral in my L eye I've learned to utilize. Wish I could afford a golf cart or something without the pedals, lol AT 67yo not sure how well I can pedal but I will, lol I still help anyone who needs something I can give because that's who I am.

The fact that he hands out cigarettes is actually amazing. It's not a necessity but it gives you a small amount of satisfaction in a life full of hardship and misery.
@richard harrison couldn't be more wrong. These people will scrounge them out of ashtrays, the ground, gutters etc. He is truly helping them by offering them. Far worse vices out there nowadays like smoking pills with fentanyl/fentanyl analogues, tranquilizers etc
@richard harrison Excuse me? When you're homeless you are doing without everything. If you're addicted to cigarettes it just makes things twice as worse mentally. I've been homeless and was grateful for a smoke more than I was food AFTER 3 days of no eating. Comfort is comfort. And let's be honest. When you're homeless when it comes to your health & safety concerns Marlboros don't exactly top the list.

I can't believe the one homeless guy asked for beer. It's like some of them havent learned anything and will beg for alcohol and drugs before wanting food. Pathetic really but some people will never change. It warms my heart to know there's someone out there to help them in some way. I live in a town that doesnt have any homeless people. But when I lived in Texas, they were everywhere. I was a courier driver back then and we constantly bought food for as many as we could every day.

Hello Michael, Another Great Video my friend, We have just located some of our homeless that have been missing since COVID 2 years ago. Around Here they hide and have a hard time trusting people, Good thing they remember me, but some have a hard time with remembering anything because of drugs, so I just keep loving them and helping. keep up the good work in Arizona and I will keep on in SC, Lord Bless
Michael would be in trouble with a hot food setup like yours, the park ranger guys like where Scott can usually be found would want to see a permit every day. No fun trying to help ppl and being chased away.

I grew up in Glendale /Peoria area.
I now live in Colorado! I wish I could do this in my town, I’m on disability and I don’t have extra money to do so,
I worry so much when it snow and dips below 0 and I pray they find a place to rest and keep warm!😢
I am happy to say they are opening a shelter finally but it won’t be open until later this summer!

Thank you for being like this dude. I am such a recluse lately and hate ppl. You give me hope for humanity. I wish I was able to do stuff like this. I know soon I will be able. Really there is no better feeling than knowing you just showed compassion and care for someone. These are ppl still and good ppl at that, just on hard times with not enough ppl that care.

We have to take care of our homeless and mentally ill brothers. It's only getting worse so we have to come together and help each other.
Scott needs to run for mayor. If I lived in Tucson, I’d vote for him.
You could spread the word about the church so that others can go . Get showered, probably cloths and a hot meal. You know those who want to.

Michael, I got a BAD VIBE from that guy that wanted beer from the get go and later tried to hit you up for money. He was lying just trying to engage you and scoping out where you go to church, etc. I know you are far more street savvy than I and you had been attacked before. I figured you picked up on him too. Poor guy (at bus stop). He is too old and not in best health to have to be traveling from bus stop to bus stop and the park. He needs a home. Poor soul. ❤ The second guy is so appreciative.

In 1992 after the storm Andrew,I worked with My friends Ted &Kelli and we unloaded semi trucks,of donations at her office and gave away to people suffering after the storm Andrew.
Thank you again, like also in blessing the Streets that she Found adresses where they can go for help, food or other help, every city must be different, have they places to shower, to do laundry, saw a video, man alone who likes to go but was afraid they would take his belongings
The homeless steal from each other all the time. I do give out info on shelters and such from time to time. Blessings the Streets is in Phoenix, about a hundred miles north of Tucson 🙏💜

We worked with United Way&The Red Cross, what a help ,2 weeks without electricity, food wasting, need of water,oh it was hard, but we got through

Wish you lived a "little" closer Michael. The amount of food, furniture, and everything else that is in a household (even brand new stuff) that I have thrown into a scrap container to get pushed into an oven is kind of rediculous. We do have an adress for clothing and stuff but atleast a few years ago it was really annoying to work with some places due the fact they are waaay to picky and it's just not doable for us to work double hours just to get it somewhere where it doesn't get wasted. Keep up the good work, really impressive how you deal with these folks. I would say I would like to do this locally here but there aren't a lot and the city is actively checking in on some of them (not saying they do a good job, just that you don't really see much of them). Most people on the streets here even the users aren't homeless. Thanks and respect from the Netherlands.
