@@goodnessinpeople Hi Michael! Im from Stockholm Sweden and was homeless here for 7 years. There is a place close to where i live now where the homeless (or anyone who feels that they need it) can go eat breakfast every morning. It´s connected to the church on their premises. I used to go there in the mornings to eat and on fridays they had live-music both with homeless talented people and musicians from the church. It was a great place and the staff there was volunteers and very nice all of them, they was very personal and wanted to get to know us clients and learn about our situations to be able to help us better and as individuals. If you like to read maybe they bring you some books next day for example. Some days they had a table at the door that you could grab things from on your way out. Most days it had bread, different kids. And some they there was all kinds of food. Baguettes, salads, lunchboxes, donuts, Swedish meatballs, candy, milk, yoghurt and so on. And i asked them once where that stuff came from and they told me that the local bakery delivered all their bread from the day before that they hadn´t got sold the day before and cant use anyway. So it was bread from a bakery that was baked the day prior, so it was really nice bread all if it. Sometimes it was a little dry and hard in the edges but most of the times it was soft and SOOO good. And all the other stuff that they didnt have every day but maybe 2-3 days a week was from the 3 local foodstores. Some of it was items with short date, that was about to get outdated in a day or two. But a lot of it wasn´t. It was good food. I dont know if they just had more that they could sell of some things and gave those to us or how the thought was behind that. But it was not just one of the foodstores. It was all 3 of the local. Of course i dont know how that happened. If the bosses of the shops were involved in the church in some way. I wouldn´t guess so though. Swedish people are not very religious and going to church is not a big part of our culture. We go there on funerals, weddings and every year in June when the kids school graduation is. The kids sing in the church. I dont know if someone from the church had went to the stores and talked to them or if it was initiated by the foodstores themselves. Swedes has big respect and trust for the church though, we trust them and know that we can give to the church if we want to give to the homeless. We know that we can trust that every cent/crown goes the people who need it so people in general feel good about giving to the church, confident with their good intentions. If i had a store locally where you are active, i absolutely would want to support you. With items and food. And absolutely give you a much better price, cut my part out of it. It´s really surprising to hear that you dont have some kind of support from the local stores, sad. Really. Why wouldnt they want to be a part of and give to the community they are active in. I really hope that change soon. That someone in the stores recognize what you do and contact you.

I kind of have a bro-crush on scott though. He´s so calm and humble, well-manered, "old-school". He needs his batteries for his little radio and loves his Lovecraft. I´ve lived on the streets myself and i remember how tough it would be on me when i met and hang out with people 60+. Many of them had worked and payed their taxes for 30 years and the alcohol or a divorce or several factors at once swept them of their feet and they never got up. I was 24-31 and in a deep drug addiction and i knew that in i way i had choose the path myself, i was capable to capable to clean myself up and get a job. Eventhough not strong enough to do it at that time. But i wasnt angry with the society for how i lived. For me it was okey, i was young, strong, man and capable to get food and so on. But everytime i was with old people it hurt me deeply in my heart. I remember that feeling like yesterday, pitchblack rage and hate, at everyone and everything that let this be. Many of the old-timers dont even has that severe cases of alcohol/drug-abuse. They are raised to be humle and take care for themselves and dont ask for help. So when they fall down they cope and tries to stay invisible and not be a burdon for society or anybody. It´s always inhumane and unworthy our western societys to have people sleeping outside, young, old, boys or girls. It´s always wrong in my opinion. If someone fall, we carry them. Thats the society i want to be a part of. We just doesn´t leave them there on the ground judging them with some lame excuse about that they did this to himself. But to see old men and women sleeping outside make me so mad and sad. What it tells about our world is really bad news. I want to see Scott in a comfy chair reading books and listening to radio inside. I hope he´ll get there someday soon. It always warms my heart to see him in these videos, his charm is working all the way to us over in Europe. Thank you Michael. You are a big big man. I have the greatest respect for you. In my eyes you are a real hero.

🤗💞💞💞🤗 The entire system is beyond screwed up. How do people sleep ,knowing how awful they treat other humans? Having owned properties in AZ, I will say & leave this here... I had to wait 30 DAYS if any personal property was left , BEFORE I could dispose of it. I believe what those employees did , is not legal. They have stolen someone's property & thrown it away . They were given 0 opportunity to claim their property back. I hope your day is a happy one, Michael.

We could encounter a lot of the guys that you helped and unfortunately a lot of them do steal from us but a lot of them are also really good people with good intentions

The comment you made about Scott being a magnet... That was me in Las Vegas. I attracted SO MANY other homeless people to me, that i had to start lying to people on where i slept. Every time i would tell people the truth, more would show up and create reasons for us to get kicked away... And once i stopped telling people, i was left alone to sleep peacefully until i woke up on my own. I always ask permission from the property owner to sleep on their property. And would promise to leave it cleaner than i found it. So yes, some people have a magnetic personality, but along with the good company, comes the bad...

I'm guessing that has to do with landlord/tenant laws, but I'm this case they just have carts sitting around at a park.

They also like to snoop through his stuff when he's not looking, especially if they know I've been there recently.
