I met Stephan at the Dennys on River and Oracle. I recognize him from the tattoos. He held the door open for my grandmother as he was going in, and helped her read the menu because she forgot her glasses. When my grandmother tried to offer him money, he wouldn't take any. He was very kind and sweet. I didnt know he was homeless. Do you have a PO box or anything like that? I'd love to send him some stuff.

Michael, so great to come home and watch your video BC for the last Almost 2 weeks now I've been working on trying to get a dog someone ?apparently,... abandoned on an island. And first having to establish his feeding spot. Tomorrow, or maybe the next day, we're going to be setting out a trap with a trail cam. This dog has been on the island for a month now, where we have alligators and bobcats in Southeast Georgia on the coast. A light-colored full-sized Labrador and he's apparently either been very abused or in survival mode, possibly both, and won't let anyone near him. Please send prayers, everyone who reads this, and to thank you for everything YOU do. Love to you and yours.

I know this young generation has grown up with curse words apart of their language, but us old folks are not use to it. I have many a younger niece and nephew who I have to correct from time to time, and they understand it when I explain it's only for a short while in my presence. @Jon Lorenzo we are beyond struggling and would if we could. From taking cold showers for months cause the hot water tank is broken, to faulty electricity that needs addressed in garage. Biggest adversity beyond those minor issues (some stated above) is my major issue, and that is my son is living thru this inoperable cancer and no amount of money can cure it. Breaks this mom to no end not being more able to make his life more enjoyable, let alone trying to save him. Everything we do is for basic food like hot dogs n such at home just to survive and some folks like me cannot help financially. So Jon, because not everyone can send $ is why I added on prayers and love, and that is thee best gift of all.

Quit complaining about people smoking a cigarette when they sleep on a wet sidewalk. Mind your own business please. Michael is a good man. People send him the smokes to donate so he does.

Actually by giving them fresh cigarettes, he is minimizing risk. They are going to smoke regardless, so hes just trying to help. Why does it bother you so much? They are grown adults. You're acting like he's convincing kids to take up smoking. Also, me telling you to mind your business, does not constitute as me being in your business. You're honestly just embarrassing yourself at this point. You're entitled to your opinion, but like I said these are grown adults, and Michael gets the cigarettes from donations, and gives them out at the request of the donor. If you'd like to donate some nicotine gum, or patches to help them quit smoking, I'm sure Michael wouldn't mind handing them out.

Truly sad. Some people blame homeless people. A lot of these people didn't ask to be homeless but have had lots of trauma . It's easy for people to say get a job or whatever. But I bet these people have gone through a lot
This is so true. My ex stole my children from me. He was from iran. When he did this, I just quit caring. They were my life and in an instant they were gone. I lived on the streets seven years because I just didn't care about life anymore. I never smoked anything, did drugs or drank alcohol. I have an apartment now and I am getting the mental health I need to move on without my children for I don't know if I will ever see them again.
Thanks Claudia for all you have done with your donations, you sure made this young man happy! And thanks Michael for taking him shopping for new bearings, this was like Christmas day for him. I know Scott loves his Lovecraft and I have kept an eye out for months and months at thrift stores and always come out empty handed. If any one texting you, would just help one person in their community, it would mean the world to that person, It was very cold yesterday, I mean in the 20,and windy, one of my homeless friends was sitting on the side of the library, he said, he was too cold to move, I had already given out all my sandwiches and most of my handwarmers,but gave him some, went to the mall, got him a pizza, and got a styrofoam cup, asked him, if he wants coffee or hot chocolate, hot chocolate, went home and made him some, more handwarmers and I still had a very warm blanket, today he was back in the library,,, and one librarian gave him a sleeping bag,,,, As always , thank you Michael

Found your videos last night while looking up info on homelessness for a story. After watching a few of your videos, I decided to help out. Just volunteered my daughter and I to help at the local food bank. Just thought you'd like to know you're making a difference all over.

It was very cold yesterday, I mean in the 20,and windy, one of my homeless friends was sitting on the side of the library, he said, he was too cold to move, I had already given out all my sandwiches and most of my handwarmers,but gave him some, went to the mall, got him a pizza, and got a styrofoam cup, asked him, if he wants coffee or hot chocolate, hot chocolate, went home and made him some, more handwarmers and I still had a very warm blanket, today he was back in the library,,, and one librarian gave him a sleeping bag,,,,
