The drummer Tommy Aldridge deserves a shout out also. One of my favorites! I saw and met Pat Travers at the Rio hotel in Vegas in 1994. The Rio had a promotion on Monday where you would watch the NFL game then they would have a band play afterwards at Club Rio. Vegas isn't the same anymore. $1 dollar beers back in the day.

True story I love telling. Rush was my 1st concert (1981, Dallas). We got 2nd row right in front of Alex. TEN DOLLARS. Anyway, when the warm up band was playing, this guy was sitting in front of us (front row) & is talking to us. There were empty seats around him & he was by himself. He said "people say I look like Pat Travers". We're thinking "yeah, whatever," Then a little bit later, this guy walks up to him & gives him a brown grocery bag and walks off. He showed us & it was FULL of weed. So then we started looking at him & he did look like him. Also, he had been in town, so I'm like 99.999% sure it was him.

This album has the best low end mix I've ever heard. Not sure without looking it up who engineered the sound but it's master class. Not even Black Sabbath, Van Halen, or any other band had the mix this album brought to the table at this time. It wasn't until 'In the Air Tonight' by Phil Collins that another studio style (drum mixing in this case) was so influential.

Two songs from this album pretty much defined me and my wife when we met...
I loved this tune and she loved Stevie!
We got fun because we actually loved both, but as one might imagine, I was the partier in this equation where she was the nurturer...
It worked very well for almost forty years until she got fed up with my antics.
That was when I was 63!!! I still like getting rowdy, but I'm not as good as I used to be if one might imagine...
