Many years ago, my family and I returned back home to Texas from our trip to Canada. We actually made it back home really early in the morning, but I was pleasantly welcomed with this movie showing on cartoon network. Besides the first few seasons of the first anime and the first movie, I've not really watched anything else Pokémon related. So of course I've never heard this song before. To me it has an almost Disney animated movie quality to it. Definitely not disappointed with it.
Overall a great cover! I do feel like there were a few parts where you didnt hit the higher notes quite right, but you nailed the lower ones in a way I actually prefer it over the original. Your voice seems to lack power/force at times, but it leads to the song being more relaxed rather than rousing like the original. Then again I’m not a singing pro so what do I know?
