I’m obsessed with this. I grew up very isolated and full of social anxiety. I couldn’t even go to school most days. I still struggle. But sometimes just playing some Pokémon solves everything for awhile. It really made me feel like a champion. I love playing new games as they come out… super hyped for SV! When this was played at the ending, I really cried... The lyrics were all in line with the story and the concept of this work, and as a song, it pushed me forward a little bit, and I felt like I just finished watching the best movie ( vocabulary…) Thank you very much…(´；ω；`)
Just finished my playthrough of Scarlet and this song hit like a truck right in the feels! The story in this game was so good and the friends we made along the way made it all come together so nicely at the end, and hearing this song play during the credits legit made me cry
Same. Especially with the context of Arven grieving his mom and his friends pushing him to have fun with them anyway at the end. I lost my mom a couple years ago and I started sobbing thinking about all the people that have helped me while I was struggling.

So why don't you go back to your adult job sitting at a desk and doing menial tasks constantly? Because that's what you seem to think all adults should do, even though absolutely nobody actually wants to be doing that. Real adults know that sometimes it's good to take some time to be a kid again, and that there's nothing that's only for kids.
I just finished Violet right now and I really couldn't help but tear a bit with the ending. How sad and hopeful it is at the same time, how each storyline ties rather nicely within itself and each other, and to top everything, this music that is filled with emotion, as what I can tell by listening to it. It's just beautiful.

Despite the serious issues with the game crashing and graphics looking pretty bad, I can confidently say that this is THE BEST Pokemon game I have played, and it's all because of the story. Arven's story was especially personally relevant to me.

"You make me feel like my troubled heart is a million miles away" is by far my favorite line. I'm a 28 year old guy from the US. Played Pokemon since I was probably 8 or 9, spent a ton of time on it. The series was always with me, even into adulthood (though I took intermittent breaks periodically). Went through a lot of family issues growing up, music (playing guitar, bass, etc.) and video games is what I normally leaned on to escape most of it. Like most people, I grew very attached to the series, and harbor a ton of nostalgia for it. As an adult, I still play when I have time. A lot of people I've known never understood why I stick with Pokemon even as a grown man. They don't understand. The series and my music is what got me through the hard times growing up, and I could never give them up. The fact that this emotion and nostalgia that I've had is realized in this song- and literally what has been on my heart for so long being shared with the world in such a well executed song and production is just unreal. I cry everytime I listen to this song. I'm crying writing this comment. Thank you, Ed Sheeran. Thank you so much.

Words can not express the emotions I felt while listening to this. For a brief second, I was brought back to a time when I used to imagine Pokémon were everywhere. I wished so much as a kid that they were real. These games were the foundation of my childhood, watching and playing these games helped me escape to a reality much better than the one I lived. This is an amazing song. I'm 29 and Pokemon Ruby was the first game that I played way back when I was a timid 12 year old. Played Sapphire, Emerald, Heart Gold, Fire Red and Diamond after that through most of high school and college. Pokemon got me through a lot of hard times in life. I get the feeling this man has loved pokemon for as long as I have. I don’t know if that’s true, but the mere fact that I get that feeling just from this video is a testament to the quality of the song and the video. Well done, Mr. Ed Sheeran!
Lots of people here due to Scarlet/Violet, this song fits the game's storyline really well.. I got Scarlet and the ending honestly made me emotional because of the loss I have faced in my life. This song is a resounding resolution to the series and how it has been the backbone to many people who grew up with the series. Also. Back when Pokemon was in its hayday (the mid and late 90s) they had a lot of very popular artists create songs for the movie soundtracks (they still hit). Honestly I'm really happy to see this part of Pokemon back, sorely missed and glad it was put to a game this time around.

People never took video game music seriously for the longest time, but here we are with Ed f'n Sheeran making music for Pokemon. And a really dope track too!
I mean, yeah true although I think Mihoyo or Square/Disney were some of the early ones to get actual popular singers to sing for their game’s songs. Like Sanctuary, face my fears had Hikaru Utada. For Mihoyo with honkai impact 3 they had many singers for multiple songs. Some big ones they had was Zhou Shen for the song Rubia, and Ayanga sang Regression.
I feel down and depressed a lot these days, then this song popped-out of nowhere in my suggestion list. I can't stop crying when I listen to this song. As Japanese, I'm proud Japan create Pokemon. I'm 20 years old now, but I've been with Pokemon since I was born. Pokemon is a part of my life. I know that some people were salty about this song being in a Pokemon game, but honestly, the whole story line and ending make so much sense for the song in the game. Honestly I was crying in the end. I loved the song before finishing it, but now it has a place in my heart. Such an amazing song and the game no matter how glitchy it got, was absolutely worth the money.

I've been a long time Pokemon fan -- Pikachu was my first ever toy when I was a baby, now I'm turning 23 this December! I've followed the games from first generation up until the upcoming ninth generation, Scarlet and Violet, and have been the biggest fan of the anime! Ed Sheeran is my absolute favorite singer and seeing the two collab and produce this beautiful masterpiece makes me cry in happiness! This song and official video has touched the lives of many people all across the world, no matter the age we are now and how we started, we are still the young kids at heart trying to catch em all! As an introverted kid who didn't have friends at the time, Pokémon still made my childhood worth remembering, and to this day I occasionally play one of the many games, at 28. This songs means a lot to me. I was imagining all those Pokémon next to me as a kid too and seeing the Mewtwo movie scene really opened a Pandora box of childhood memories. After hearing this song in the game credits, I finally found the actual source on who sings this beautiful song. This song almost made me cry. I'm so happy this song was featured in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. I love the story and the characters. I hope we get lyrics similar then this in future Pokemon games.

去年、実家へ帰省した時、暇になると思いスイッチとポケモンバイオレットを持って行きました。
実家に帰るとインターネットもパソコンもないため、ずっとポケモンばかりしてました。
その壮大なストーリーも終盤、仲間との力を合わせて困難を乗り越えてエンディングでこの曲が流れた時、感動で涙が出そうでした。
親が運転する車の助手席でこのエンディングを聞きながら、小さい頃、親の運転する車の後部座席でずっとポケモンやっていた自分を思い出し、懐かしく思いながら、「エド・シーランがポケモンのエンディング歌ってる！」とまるで子どもに戻ったかのように親に言ってた自分にしてくれるポケモンは、社会人になった今でも大好きです。

Just finished my playthrough of Scarlet and this song hit like a truck right in the feels! The story in this game was so good and the friends we made along the way made it all come together so nicely at the end, and hearing this song play during the credits legit made me cry

I'm a 28 year old guy from the US. Played Pokemon since I was probably 8 or 9, spent a ton of time on it. The series was always with me, even into adulthood (though I took intermittent breaks periodically). Went through a lot of family issues growing up, music (playing guitar, bass, etc.) and video games is what I normally leaned on to escape most of it. Like most people, I grew very attached to the series, and harbor a ton of nostalgia for it. As an adult, I still play when I have time. A lot of people I've known never understood why I stick with Pokemon even as a grown man. They don't understand.
The series and my music is what got me through the hard times growing up, and I could never give them up.
The fact that this emotion and nostalgia that I've had is realized in this song- and literally what has been on my heart for so long being shared with the world in such a well executed song and production is just unreal. I cry everytime I listen to this song. I'm crying writing this comment.

Words can not express the emotions I felt while listening to this. For a brief second, I was brought back to a time when I used to imagine Pokémon were everywhere. I wished so much as a kid that they were real. These games were the foundation of my childhood, watching and playing these games helped me escape to a reality much better than the one I lived. This song helped me relived that time when Pokémon was still new and exciting. I'm nearly 30 and Pokémon will always have a special place in my heart till the day I die. This is an amazing song. I'm 29 and Pokemon Ruby was the first game that I played way back when I was a timid 12 year old. Played Sapphire, Emerald, Heart Gold, Fire Red and Diamond after that through most of high school and college. Pokemon got me through a lot of hard times in life. Watching this music video was a pleasant walk down memory lane. Thank you for this gem of a song!!!

Just finished Pokémon Scarlet and as soon as the credits came rolling I started sobbing. The storyline was so so good and sad. I loved it
I finished Scarlett a few days ago. I couldn't help myself. I had tears in my eyes while singing this song.
Lots of people here due to Scarlet/Violet, this song fits the game's storyline really well.. I got Scarlet and the ending honestly made me emotional because of the loss I have faced in my life. This song is a resounding resolution to the series and how it has been the backbone to many people who grew up with the series.
Also. Back when Pokemon was in its hayday (the mid and late 90s) they had a lot of very popular artists create songs for the movie soundtracks (they still hit). Honestly I'm really happy to see this part of Pokemon back, sorely missed and glad it was put to a game this time around.
I feel you. I cried because I could never imagine going through something like that and just thinking about it made me break down. I know one day that I might have to go through this. My condolences to you.

I mean, yeah true although I think Mihoyo or Square/Disney were some of the early ones to get actual popular singers to sing for their game’s songs. Like Sanctuary, face my fears had Hikaru Utada. For Mihoyo with honkai impact 3 they had many singers for multiple songs. Some big ones they had was Zhou Shen for the song Rubia, and Ayanga sang Regression.

I've been a long time Pokemon fan -- Pikachu was my first ever toy when I was a baby, now I'm turning 23 this December! I've followed the games from first generation up until the upcoming ninth generation, Scarlet and Violet, and have been the biggest fan of the anime! Ed Sheeran is my absolute favorite singer and seeing the two collab and produce this beautiful masterpiece makes me cry in happiness!

As an introverted kid who didn't have friends at the time, Pokémon still made my childhood worth remembering, and to this day I occasionally play one of the many games, at 28. This songs means a lot to me. I was imagining all those Pokémon next to me as a kid too and seeing the Mewtwo movie scene really opened a Pandora box of childhood memories. After hearing this song in the game credits, I finally found the actual source on who sings this beautiful song. This song almost made me cry.
