Quite beautiful. Those hymn tunes never sounded as good. The Lento is just wonderful. Lovers of British music have a lot to thank Chandos for, in bringing many lesser known works to a wider audience. Thanks also to Rodders for sharing via You Tube.

First time I have heard these though I know the organ version of 1920 which is quite different. RVW was in his element with strings.
