That's not silly at all I purchase all of my Bibles for myself last Christmas too. One my family has never asked me what I wanted 2 my husband the only one who does care enough to buy me something he worries about messing something up and purchasing the same Bible I already have. I told him he could never mess anything up. I would never be upset to own two of the same Bibles that i love 🥰📚

I've had Thompson Chain Bibles for decades, and you are right, cannot go wrong with them. I also use a Strong's Concordance with the numbering system that matches the KJV Thompson Chain.
You have inspired me so much and given me this beautiful idea of using Bibles for different purposes that all bring me into a closer communion with the Lord. Nice review! A few months ago, I purchased the CBP Black Licorice Water Buffalo Thompson Chain Reference Bible. I absolutely love this Bible. AA Leather did an amazing job with the Black Licorice Water Buffalo cover and the Calfskin leather lined. And the Kirkbride text block is great. The printing is dark and crisp throughout the whole Bible. CBP did an excellent job of putting this Bible together. Excellent craftsmanship. I'm very well pleased with my CBP Black Licorice Water Buffalo Thompson Chain Reference Bible. It's a great study Bible.
I love the way the Water Buffalo leather feels. Like you mentioned here the text block is amazing too why on earth would anyone not want to purchase one of these Bibles. It can't be a price thing when there are many Bibles on the market right now that cost way more than this. And.... and... it's for FAKE LEATHER 🤔I will never understand that😏

The one I just mentioned in my comment on your great review and the other 3 are my CBP Black Licorice Water Buffalo Note Takers Bible, my Cambridge Concord Reference Goatskin Bible and my Cambridge Concord Wide Margin Goatskin Bible. I don't know why people don't invest in CBP Bibles. All of CBP Bibles are very reasonably priced. Even their Water Buffalo Bibles are responsibly priced. Plus, CBP is a great ministry. I think my next Bible from them is going to be the Full Yapp Milk Chocolate Water Buffalo Turquoise Bible. CBP makes great Bibles. My mentor gave me a Thompson Chain KJV Bible back when I graduated high school in 1978. I've had one ever since. Love them! Mine are so marked up. My latest I changed to the NKJV. What I wish they did was separate the helps in the back from the Bible itself so that you could have them both open at the same time.
Just saw this and of alll my bibles I love how the NLT large print filament feels best . I did however give it to my mom . But I love the size and the weight of it more than any other Bible I have ever owned . Just wanted to add my 2 cents lol.

Have you seen the parallel bible? I bought one that has NLT on one side and the other side has KJV. I like it cause I like to be very particular about what KJV says about NLT, cause nlt is so easy to understand, but sometimes may be watered down.

Trust me I know I've tried to send one sister a Bible... but it cost $67 to send a $20 Bible there is just no one way I could afford something like that!! It was cheaper for her/YOU to purchase it online. 🔸️Maybe you can ask a Church NEAR YOU to help receive a Bible. 🔹️Or send an email to a Bible publisher/s asking for their (guidance and help) But you have to to keep in mind. They like myself get asked this question all the time. Help me I can't afford a simple Bible. Which is not a problem at all... but when you go to everyone you know of or can possibly think to ask the same thing. You know you will always get all these kindhearted Christian willing to help and you end up with 20-30 Bibles which you may or may not be just turning around and selling them. Or they're just greedy and want to continue to receive free things from caring people. Not saying this is you at all. But like those people I've never had a single conversation with you so I can't deciphering or know your true intentions here

Lea R I use a Greek-English bible to study. Its Greek with interlinear translation, KJV, and NIV.

Nothing besides the size of the letters (Font size) and of course as you seen in the Bible sizes are divided too
