This is definitely the best Planet Coaster channel I've found instead of just making bland roller coasters that go on for 10 minutes you actually put care Into the theme
absolutely the BEST coaster/ride creation i have seen yet from anyone using planet coaster. You sir, are a god. The idea of using brakes to create a dark/slow ride effect was brilliant. +100000 to you.

You are pretty damn good at designing! I have a video on my channel showing a castle coaster I am building but I only have Alpha version 2. I missed the deadline so I had to torrent the Alpha (purchased game already though)... Is there a way I can update it so I can have all these extra tools and features and water like you have? Also, I have a very high end PC but when my park starts to get bigger I have horrible lag. Any recommendations?
If you've already purchased early access alpha you can update it by installing it through steam, you will find your steam code on the frontier website where you downloaded the first alpha.
Not much you can do about the lag as it's still being optimized, it's a lot better then in the previous alpha's and I'm sure it'll get better coming up to release in November.
Good luck on your castle! there's some great new objects that came with alpha 3 that will help with your builds.

I love all the little details that you do on your coasters, especially when the coaster is going fast that you know nobody will be able to see it. Now that's attention to detail!
Thanks! I honestly believe its the little details that make the biggest impact, the music, sound effects and each scenery piece all goes towards feeling immersed.

hey man is it possible to make a Alice in Wonderland themed coaster? or an alien themed ride?
From what I've seen so far on this game I'm on the fence about getting it. The customization looks great except for roller coaster supports. Are they automatic or can you do custom supports? Loved the theme if the ride.

I'm working on a constant upload schedule now as its hard not doing this full time but as the channel grows I'm looking to build a great community who love watching and talking about sandbox games! :)

Epic theming !!! Best I seen so far for a ride. I wish others would theme like this ! Well I hope they will allow water rides like splash mountain.

SpookeyClown How come ? Because no hint of it ? To me the most memorable rides i been on were themed rides with water... Not fast and loopy. For going fast I just ride a motorcycle, far better than any rollercoaster I ever rode.
The devs talked about not implementing water physics on a stream or something. I don't really remember. It'll probably be an expansion some time after the vanilla release.
SpookeyClown Wow, I would think that would be more important than even park management. I will get the game either way but it would cause me to get the game before it dropped in price lol
I love it!!!
That was a very cool ride. Beautifully designed and themed. All the excellent triggered events. Kind of reminds me of a better version of "Thunder Mountain" from Disneyland. Should put a Steam workshop link to it in the description.
Just like how Star Quest was built with no Sci-Fi objects this was also built with no Western Theme in the game which was a lot of fun to build, They were also built without the use of triggers so I had to get the timing just right when I tried to film it haha.
You did some great work with the scenery, lighting and I also like the slow part of the ride at the beginning. And I know all of this takes quite a lot of time... So thumbs up!
The only thing: your ride is quite fast, so fast actually that there are times when we can barely see what's happening. It's a shame because you did put a lot of work into it... A little slower would have been more pleasant to watch, and also a lot more realistic.
Hope to see another coaster from you sometime!

Well anyway. Aside from the head banging you did get one more thing. A knew subscriber. I looked at your channel and it's awesome. Just one price of advise, smoth the rides out and make them a little more realistic but the scenery holy cow u r head to head with Silverett

the theming is pretty cool. The Coaster layout is way over the top and extreme though. You are too fast to even look at the nice decoration.
i wonder if Disney will see these planet coaster creations and then build real versions of them XD

yeah it was such a pain! lol I found some issues with the camera zooming all the way out and having to find my way back to what I was doing many times >.
You did an amazing job on this one man, just like all the other ones! If i can make a suggestion, could you make a coaster which is related to like the warcraft movie or the game, coz they have so many awesome things which could nicely blend in.

Amazing theming! Love it! Too bad about the framerate. This would be even more amazing at a consistent 30-60 fps. I do agree the ride is too fast. But the theming... so nice.
Thanks! yeah unfortunately not much I can do about the frame rate haha I'm running the game on a Intel core i7 -6700 CPU @ 3.40 GHz / 32gig ram / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 I tried lowering the resolution when recording which helped a bit. I like the speed of the ride, I did slow it down as it was much faster but it was intended to be an intense, over the top theatrical experience :)

While your scenery is on point, you really should work on your coaster layouts - you can't have super tight turns after a huge drop for instance... and make sure you make things as smooth as possible. It doesn't have to be realistic per se, but the whole experience kind of looses its appeal when the coaster track design is bad.
I think it's more about telling a story with his rides.
And the story would be better if the coaster layout was also on point. Just some constructive criticism.
