  • Many means of modern transportation are designed to serve a dual purpose: the actual transferring of the rider from point A to point B, as well as a recreational purpose. The segment of recreational vehicles is growing rapidly, especially those that could be used for offroading and dirt train riding.
While many of us are already acquainted with such offroad-capable inventions as dirt bikes and scooters, the segment of electric skateboards that are equipped with powerful electric motors, rugged suspensions and knobby tires has only started developing a couple of years ago.
It should be pointed out that this segment is attracting new fans every day, as mountain boarding and downhill riding is a kind of an adventurous hobby that everyone should try.
Our channel is greatly focused on making news overviews dedicated to various types of electric transport. We suggest you check out our playlist here: • Electric motorcycles, ...

Building them is a lot of fun. These board when properly built for power and off-road cost anywhere from $1000-3000. I build them and other projects but when you build them they don’t have that crazy full suspension but most riders prefer not to when off-roading

Great lineup, I particularly like the Baja boards and if you could cover boards that come with a handlebar so you can turn it into a scooter and boards that are trikes or three wheeled like the California Board

I just spent $2K on a new electric mountainboard (Ecomobl Telum). I have been riding conventional mountainboards for over 25 years. I feel the electric power trains are definitely worth it. Being an older rider (56), having a power assisted board has opened up much more terrain. I love it!

Most of these boards are impractical in off-roading, too heavy, too sluggish, not a single foot-binding in sight.
