Actually, got the same deal at my local Lowes, I believe. Watched a few unboxing videos, because I've never used this brand. Yours was the First to show how to store the bits in the top. Thank you for the informative material, it has already helped.
Awesome! Glad it worked out for you. I have used the Craftsman 20v tools for awhile and really like them. I’ll be unboxing some other of their tools soon.
Hey thanks for watching! Sorry about the missing clip, I cut that part to keep the video to a manageable length. The bit installation is very similar to other rotary tools you just hold the shaft lock and use the supplied wrench to tighten the locking nut against the collet until your bit is secure.
It's not brushless and it's also not metal Can't remove the shaft for maintenance. Ever. The Ryobi is brushless, metal and alot more powerful. It's like 150$ for this a single battery and a charger. So the Ryobi is statistically cheaper cause they give you 3 batteries and a charger for 199. Plus the Ryobi doesn't bog out and turn off cause it's got alot more raw power.
Hey, 👋Thanks for the comment! I understand what you're saying I had some concerns about this tool even before I bought it. I used to have a Dremel with a flex shaft and loved it. I have a lot of other Craftsman 20v tools already (usually pick up batteries when they are on sale or with tools). For smaller projects, I think this will be fine but anything more and I'll have to look into something with more power.

Sorry about the camera's auto focus. This was the first time using this camera. I'll have to fix that for the next video.
It's got a safety feature that shuts it off a lot of the newer cordless ones has that
Good to know.
It's so annoying that I'm returning it
Gee, you passed right over the installing the bit

But it's way more noisier and is shaft driven and you know they always end up breaking
@@loucifer4205 those you can take apart and "maintain" but this craftsman system doesn't do that, unfortunately. I bought one to.
