      It’s actually smoother than the Dremels I have. Very quiet. Of course some of them have many years on them.

      Mine shutdown with any kind of pressure just to cut a nail it will shutdown 5 to 10 times depending on nail size

    Thanks for posting this, Harry. I use the Ryobi battery system and they make a similar soldering iron...my main concern was how long the usage period would be; their cordless hot glue gun uses up the battery pretty quick. Still, it seems like a battery-powered system would be fine for light hobby use...

    RYOBI Also has similar products... The Ryobi Soldering iron works just like ny Hako...

      Yes, seen those too. So far this Craftsman works as I wanted it to. I have two Hakkos and several ol Wellers. I didn't need another but enjoy trying them.
