  • Will this old diesel tractor start? Chamberlain tractor sitting for 26 years finally attempts to start and move again. We will perform some work that gets this stuck Perkins diesel engine spinning over where it may start again. Then it gets unloaded of this semi truck.

Gday Steve. Dunno why people don’t like the tractor episodes. It’s mucking around with old machines. Isn’t that what makes the world go around? Every episode is a memory of good and shitty days in my life. The old logic of “ I bet I can make this bloody thing run”. Always a pleasure to watch your channel 😊

Good to hear her breathe again. When I was a kid there was a cartoon about a car in the junkyard and all it wanted was a new owner to give her a little care because the previous owner just abused it. So a young man purchased it cleaned it up, replaced some parts and the old girl smiled. She just wanted to be of service again and loved the new owner because he cared. I never forgot that. I'm sure the Chamberlain feels the same way. Jim BTW I think that cartoon was from the 60s

Talk about a trip down memory lane. As a young nineteen old in 1974 went to work for a company out bush in Central Queensland. They had one of these Chamberlains with a backhoe on it. Boss ask him if I could operate it and being young , full of confidence, I told him yea no worries. Talk about a steep learning curve. No mucking around with mechanical lift pumps then, just flick a switch and prime them, when they start turn off the electric lift pump and let the mechanical take over. Woks for me..
