Givenchy is a French brand of luxury fashion houses founded by Hubert de Givenchy in 1952. In the 1960s, Givenchy expanded his business to include menswear, fragrances, and home decor. He also opened a couture house in New York City, becoming one of the first European designers to do so. He was succeeded by a number of designers, including John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, and Riccardo Tisci.
