Its a saying that Our ancestors eat food only when they hear the sound of this monkey they dont eat until and unless they hear the sound of this monkey.we call it huru huru.
Not that they were closely related, but just by convergent evolution, by analogy, I think these gibbons are _quite a lot_ like the last common ancestor of chimps/bonobos and humans.
They need to establish true protected areas. IUCN rated Wilderness Areas and Nature Reserves. And simultaneously work with the plantations and other agricultural industries to maintain natural corridors between forested areas to fight fragmentation.
