War wolf was my original choice but I had to go Dark Cruisader to justify my deluxe edition purchase 😂 I’ll probably do my second play through as Warwolf
@@Flame4Moonlight you have to increase radiance or inferno stats to increase the damage. Look at what the weapon is scaled to. If it has a letter next to radiance like a “b” it will scale higher if you increase your radiance stat
Have to admit after playing all souls games, sekiro and bloodborne this has to be by far the worst. The game play is awful. Think I'll get my money back and wait for Elden Ring DLC.
I’m trying to get into this but just haven’t been able to after Lies Of P and Elden Ring. Just Platinumed Elden Ring…..anyhow this one feels awkward compared to those other two. Will keep trying tho.
@@rivtekk I finally beat her (she killed me at the same time, but thankfully I got credit for the win), and I actually think in hindsight it is a good boss for teaching the player......but it comes a little early. Just beat the Congregator of Flesh and having a lot more fun, now that my build is coming together. Glad I persevered as I'm really enjoying the game.
Did you beat her? I just got the game on gamepass. Tried her once then rage quit. Got on a few days later and beat her after 10 tries. She seemed impossible at first then I realized it wasn’t too hard
My dodging is not as fast as this. I'm running well within the medium weight. I'm using Isaac's sword. I cannot "easy dodge" the sweeps. Parries never work. Can you move on without dealing with Pita girl? I'd at least like to get a little more vit.
This is at medium weight. It could be your vitality is too low. You could swap out gear and sacrifice a little defense for speed. She is a cannon boss so you have to defeat her to unlock the main hub of the game.
Man I almost had her and she got me when she was about to die! I never got her back down that low again but I'm not giving up! In all my years playing soulslike I never faught a boss this hard
Great video. Beat on third try after watching (after 20+ previous try’s on my own). Added fire to my weapon and that put me over the top. Keep the videos going!
While I agree, and appreciate the input, I try to keep the general player in mind when I make these. I’ve heard in a lot of my other videos that players prefer to dodge because of parry timing. There’s no wrong way other than taking damage!
Idk how all of you are saying this was hard. I beat her at level 15. Especially the ones saying they’ve beaten dark souls and Elden ring and then complaining about this boss. Get out of here with that. Godfried in Elden ring was a hell of a lot harder than this chick lmao
I’m the opposite honestly. These bosses telegraph for a longer duration and the window is way bigger. Lies of P required a lot stricter timing. Everyone’s experience is different though. I hope this video helps you!
This is my first Souls-like and this boss gave me some troubles no lie so seeing my homie ALREADY have a video out on this is TOP NOTCH 🔥🔥 Excellent work, Riv 💪
For those who want to deal with her faster, riposting (instead of dodging) her attack leaves her open for a critical attack after her 3-hit combos (or 2-hit combo if you chipped some in the previous combo). LotF has a relatively huge window for riposting, especially with bosses and enemies that wing up their attack for as much as Pieta. The 2nd phase is harder because summons attacks and her AOE attacks cannot be riposted, so focusing on dodging is the good call. The only thing I would point out that isn't exactly covered in this video is that, if you summon the Iron Wayfarer to assist you, it can make the first phase a lot harder to time because her attacks goes almost 360 around her and as she target/hit the IW, it may hit you from a strange angle if you're close to it. My only grip against Pieta is her summons being invisible while in the Umbral world (if you die once) if you're close to them. The Umbral transition glitches out and you cannot see her summon as they cast their attacks (happen rarely, but happens). If they're casting the light ray, you're mostly dead if you don't time it right.
Sigh...dodge,dodge...easy to say, harder to make for me,lol. I expected guide how to easy to defeat this bish....no dodge, dodge, dodge...or parry, parry, parry. I finished Dark Souls3 or Elden Ring, but this boss is beyond my skills...time to make 20+ more levels now :)
I broke down the boss by separate moves. I even zoom in to show you the visual indicators. Dodging and parrying are apart of this game. Idk what else more you want.
its bit like learning to dance even when you master it things change with each different partner. "Figurative" applies to change of game or boss all have their own timing. I see easily from this vid My mistake is dodging too early. Certain attacks you can avoid by just hugging the boss and positioning correctly.
Great video and tips. Still getting beat but at least I’m lasting a little longer. Not getting in enough hits on 2nd half of fight and keep getting caught by some of her hits. Level 32. Not sure if farming for a higher levels will help that much.
Keep trying..there is a rythm to it...once u get that rythm forging it is really easy...also u can use that guy with skeleton hand...he is right beside boss gate..just sunmon him where u see white butterfly right beside boss gate...he will also help u
What build is everyone using in LOTF?
Going 1 handed WarWolf at the moment 🐺

Wolf guy all the way. Oh will those axes increase in number if I lvl up mana?

Tnx for the reply. I meant those throwable axes . If I scale up mana will they increase in amount@@rivtekk
The combat is just to damn awkward. Coming from lies of p, it feels weird.
Yeah it’s a lot faster for movement with a larger window than LOP. IMO LOP takes more skill because of the timing required.
It's meant to be slow and heavy like DS 1

There’s definitely quite a few things that need to get fixed

It’s definitely a different speed and feel.
I've beaten every Souls game, AC6, Lies of P......and I'm ready to give up. What a terrible first boss.
It actually gets worse after this. They have very gimmicky fights.

thanks for the vid. Been an exercise in frustration for me. Will reinstall and try again

her command grab is unpredictable unfair RNG bullshit.
I would just dodge when the hand glowed. That’s what worked for me. Sometimes she would combo directly into the grab, that’s kinda BS
Great boss steep learning curve but all the rest were far too easy.. i need to go back and get to fight elianne the starved
This really help full I done died to her 10 times
I hate this game
thanks for carefully explaining ,was finally able to beat her,had to get to level 40 first too lol, thanks again🙏
Glad I could help! thank you for watching!

Way better to parry those 2 hit combos. They’re easy to time and you get your HP back when you do the grievous strike

Hiya, what level were you when you defeated her? Cuz google suggests level 16, I’m level 25 and struggling like hell still.
It’s been awhile but I know that I was below 25. Sorry that’s such a vague answer.

Different skill levels for people brother.

I've beaten ER two times 100% , how am I stuck at this bitch is beyond me. I think my focus drops she has huge health bar , it's jut too long fight.
