Nothing compares to seeing Sting in person. He is magnetic when watching him on a video or on television but when you are watching him in a live concert, there is an energy there that is rare and something I have rarely witnessed before. His presence commands the venue with a power that cannot be resisted or ignored and it leaves you feeling like you have experienced music at it's uplifting best and on the deepest intellectual and very human level.

There were songs played in lower keys, and other melodies where he sang a low note instead of a high. For "So Lonely" he only sang the last verse high. So the notes are still there, but he has to be a bit more careful with his voice.

Sting has such an incredible voice. You can feel he’s gotten older, check Sting at the Other Ball 1981, he was something out of this world back then.
But man, he still a badass.

    Lyrics:
    Just a castaway
    An island lost at sea
    Another lonely day
With no one here but me
    More loneliness
    Than any man could bear
Rescue me before I fall into despair
I'll send an SOS to the world
I'll send an SOS to the world
I hope that someone gets my
    Message in a bottle
A year has passed since I wrote my note
But I should have known this right from the start
Only hope can keep me together
    Love can mend your life
But love can break your heart
I'll send an SOS to the world
I'll send an SOS to the world
I hope that someone gets my
    Message in a bottle
    Walked out this morning
    Don't believe what I saw
    A hundred billion bottles
    Washed up on the shore
Seems I'm not alone at being alone
    A hundred billion casatways
    Looking for a home
I'll send an SOS to the world
I'll send an SOS to the world
I hope that someone gets my
    Message in a bottle
    Sending out an SOS

This dude rocks, but Stewart Copeland (the original Police drummer) owns this song. I've seen him play it many times live and it is always a performance to behold.
