    Thanks for this very comprehensive review. I am currently leasing a 2023 Tucson Limited and love it! Nice to see Hyundai improving this already great SUV. If I do not decide to get an Ioniq 5 in 2 years when my lease is up I will definitely lease another Tucson Limited, perhaps the hybrid one!!

      We have a 24 phev in white with gray interior we got in march it’s great we can plug it in at night to get 40 miles of straight ev and we can use the 40 miles on straight ev or use a hybrid so it’ll switch between gas and electric or use it full and when it runs out the engine is still a hybrid engine so you don’t pay slot on gas and you can charge at the mall and stuff

    Nice job on the comparison. As a 2023 Tucson owner, I am glad the exterior upgrades were minor. I really didn’t want my 2023 model to look outdated. However, the interior refresh is very nice. I like the two 12.3” screens on the dash, the floating center console and the additional storage below the console and the passenger side dashboard. Some of the new colors are nice. (Green and Bronze) Overall, a very nice refresh for the 2025 model year.

    Geez, prices keep going up & up. At 40k this is now the same price as my fully loaded 2020 Santa Fe. And the new '24 SF is 10k more at 50k (YIKES!).

      I have been thinking about trading my 2021 Santa Fe Calligraphy for the Tucson but since I only have 21k miles and still have the new car smell I just cant do it and this video has been really helpful on making a decision. I am going hang onto mine for another couple of years. Other than some upgraded tech toys I just don't feel the switch is worth it. Excellent comprehensive video. Thanks!

    That’s the one negative for me is the blinker is so low on all these cars if you’re behind them, you don’t really see it unless you’re far back. I also don’t understand why Hyundai doesn’t make power folding mirrors on this trim.

  • @CommissionerJen

    Curious as to why they didn't move the buttons that are in front of the cup holders to the main display area. They moved the gear shifter back to the steering wheel - they could have cleaned that whole center console up and made it button-free....

    I think I'm going to get a 2025 SEL with the convenience pkg. Small sunroof and H-Tex. I prefer the older shifter style, plus the higher trim levels are outside of the budget. I would like the panoramic sunroof, but not I don't want to be in the 40s. Thanks for the great info. Nobody does a better job than you. I wish you did driving segments. That's the only thing we're missing. Thanks.

    • @CarsMadeSimple
      @CarsMadeSimple  Месяц назад

      Thank you! I don't believe the driving stuff is my strength so I tend to focus on what I believe I do well. If you really want the piano sunroof, you could look into an SEL Convenience Hybrid for just under $40k. This would give you 17" wheels though according to the spec sheet but you would lose the traditional shifter.

      @@CarsMadeSimple sure, thank you so much. I was going through your videos from longer time on Tucson, just need a suggestion I have few things on my mind. Should I go with SEL convenience 2024 hybrid or SEL convenience 2025 gas? As both are offering for 1.99% APR.

    • @CarsMadeSimple
      @CarsMadeSimple  Месяц назад

      That's a tough one! I really prefer the Hybrid powertrain in the Tucson for the additional power but the infotainment controls and features are not ideal. Wireless AA/AC and the physical buttons are so much better. I don't know that Hyundai will continue the low APR through when the 2025MY Hybrid arrives so it would be a risk to wait. I might be willing to chance it though even if it isn't 1.99% it would still likely be a lower rate available. It's going to come down to whether you like the Hybrid powertrain and pano sunroof enough or the update interior, technology, and additional features of 2025.

    Are these vehicles not equipped with dual clutch transmissions that have been a nightmare. I am currently looking to buy one for my bride but I'm hearing the transmission is a major problem. Can anyone point me in right direction to debunk this theory....I have just started researching today.........

    • @CarsMadeSimple
      @CarsMadeSimple  18 дней назад +1

      No Tucson has the Dual Clutch Transmission currently. The 2.5L N/A engine uses an 8 speed auto and the Hybrid's use a 6 speed auto. The last Tucson to use a DCT was the 2018MY with the 1.6T engine only.
