@@heatplant1234 Well it’s not like people are keeping vehicles for a decade or more in the modern world like Honda and Toyota people still pretend they are going to do. Not even close. Regardless, I am hoping this new Hyundai/KIA generation of vehicles keep running as well a they are designed for whomever has it after me….haha!. Yes, Hyundai/KIA could use some improvement in terms of MPG across many of their offerings.

😊😊😊 This was by far the absolute best video, of dozens I have viewed, on my new 2024 Hyundai Tucson Limited. Every conceivable feature and of this outstanding vehicle was covered and it's functionality clearly explained as well as demonstrated. Commentary was spot on. Camera angles and clarity outstanding. Outstanding in every respect. Hyundai should purchase bragging rights and highlight copy with every vehicle. Looking forward to more of your reviews. Thanks.

I have this car but not AWD. I would have liked to have seen you come to a stop and then start with the ISG (Idle Stop and Go) button engaged. When accelerating from a stop, sometimes it feels like I'm being rear-ended...but nobody is behind me. Sometimes the takeoff feels like a gradual bump from behind. I try to remember to disengage the ISG button the first thing after starting the car. Does it sometimes feel like you're being rear-ended when taking off from a stop. My daughter has a '23 SEL and she just experiences a gradual 'bump' when taking off. We bought our 2024 Tucson Limited in Dec. '23. We currently have around 6,300 miles on the car. We've had two other strange things happen since owning this car. When starting from a stoplight, I couldn't get the car to go over 20 mph. I noticed that the cruise control was set to 20 mph. It was green and there was no way to turn it off. I pulled into a parking lot and rebooted the car. Problem solved. The other thing that has happened three times also has to do with accelerating after a stop. I would press the gas and just barley take off. I floored it and it ever so gradually increased speed until it started feeling normal. But after another stop it did the same thing. So once again, after a stop, I rebooted the car and that fixed the issue. Have you ever heard of that? Last thing I noticed from your video is that you have a driving mode for snow. I don't have that. Is that something just for vehicles with all wheel drive?

  • @SteveCarroll-l1q

Video well done, I have a 24 Tucson, same color, but it is a two-wheel drive. and not a Hybrid. I agree with its smoothness and it gets up and goes. The Infor screen is very touchy and cumbersome while driving. I do have a volume control on the left part of the steering wheel so I feel a volume button is not necessary. As a non-hybrid and only two wheel drive my average gas millage ranges from 25- 30 miles per gallon. At least that is what the screen says. One feature you didn't cover was the speed limit control. This fancy electronic car, if you set your speed control to the speed limit and put on that option (I don't because I have a heavy foot) the vehicle will reduce its speed to accommodate the lower speed limit you approach. Having your car always at the speed limit may save you from costly traffic tickets. The only other thing you didn't cover was the app which you can put on your cell phone that tells the gas consumption, whether the car is locked or not and the milage lef to in your gas tank. It probably covers more but I'll wait for you to explain that on another video. You have given me a lot of insight on my new 2024 Hyundai Tucson Limited. Thank you

Bought a 2023 Limited last week. Certified pre-owned with 5K miles on it. Saved $8,000 over a new 2024 and since the '24 is basically a carry over I'm not missing anything. My biggest concern was acceleration, but it's fine. I have no issue merging on freeways or keeping up with the fast traffic on the local interstate.

I have the 2022 and it was the first design change. It needs a turbo. It does get out into traffic but the engine screams. I just bought a 2024 Tucson hybrid. It has 226hp and lots more pep. I still have the 2022 and keep it in Florida. The cooled seats are nice there and my bright red car shows up among all of the white and silver cars.

@@SaltySherry I also live in Florida - it's not fast by any stretch, but it's fine for my style of driving. My previous car was a Subaru Legacy with a 260 HP turbo so I was used to more power, but the 2.5 in the Tucson still doesn't bother me. Now if I lived in the mountains at high elevation, yeah, it would. Oh, and I do wish my was red. It's a nice color for the Tucson but the good deal I snagged was on a sliver one (my least favorite color - lol).

I recently purchased the 2024 Hybrid NLine and I’m happy with it. Very peppy with the hybrid engine, and with 500 miles of driving it’s averaging 35 mpg, almost what they spec but to be honest almost 100% of my driving is stop and go and not long stretches on hwy. so I’m happy. I have a black interior and somehow it looks more upscale than this two tone in the Limited. I thought about the Limited because I really wanted the memory seat (my 10 year old trade in had those) but Limited would have been around $1500 more and I didn’t like that in that model you get matte black wheel trim vs. same paint color in the NLine. I guess it’s all about trade-offs. Overall, I’m very happy. Not thrilled that in 2024 I got USB-A v. USB-C. Also, I bet most peeps would trade moon roof for powered seats for both the driver and passenger, and heated steering wheel and memory seats.

Spend the extra money and buy the Hybrid. The non Hybrid is a real dog with a really sluggish and way under powered engine. Not only that but we've been getting 37 MPG from both of our 22 Tucson Hybrids consistently. A Limited and an SEL Convenience. Just the extra MPG will pay for the difference. Granted the financing deals aren't as good and neither are the discounts. We foolishly paid MSRP less a $500 rebate for each of ours, but they were going for 5 to 10K over list at that time. Our dealer gave us the MSRP price because we've purchased so many cars from them. I'm not here to knock the non hybrid, it's still a gorgeous car with every option one could ever desire. I just liked the extra pep and the MPG not to mention the AWD that's standard.

Motortrend has the 2024 Tuscon about a second slower than the 2023 Subaru Forester in the zero to sixty comparison. But what do they know?

Exactly which engine in the Tucson was tested? Three different engines with three different Horesepower and Torque ratings, makes for three completely different 0-to-60 ratings.

They haven't produced a bad engine in a long time, current engines are very reliable (unlike the massive recalls on CURRENT Toyota engines).
If you hear a current story about a bad Hyundai engine, it's about a 10yo Hyundai car.
You're an uneducated fool who doesn't know what he's talking about... get with current times, modern Hyundais have reliable engines... it's Toyota with the massive engine recalls right now.

I owned a 2018 Tucson for 5 years, never had a single problem, bought a 2023 Tucson a year ago, not one problem.
Numbers are what matters, NOBODY is talking about problems with modern Tucsons except trolls and d!cks with outdated info that doesn't apply to current Hyundais... so which one are you?
