Ferrari V8 + Manual Gated Shifter = Pure Petrolhead Heaven
indeed but a 997.2 gt3rs 4.0 imo is also heaven and more rare.
on the F430 and above you really just want the F1 transmission, the knob on the steering wheel, which i forgot the name for mainly controls the transmission responsiveness, so a gated manual makes the button completely redundant.
I love the shifter gates on Ferrari's. They're just incredible!
Finally a different place where are no sheeps, horses therefore we can enjoy the sound of car!

I remember being kid, and 20 years ago I had HotWheels Ferrari F430 and it was my favourite one.
I genuinely feel the tone of the stock exhaust sounds way better. For some reason in the flyby shots, the Fi exhaust makes it sounds like the F430 has turbos.

Almost has that V10/V12 Lambo grunt in the low RPM revs with the Fi valves open, and sounds so much more exotic in that 5k-7k Range.
This is the ultimate V8 Ferrari experience! 6 speed gated manual for crying out loud, and with the proper exhaust sounds better than the 458👌. Nothing else needs to be said.

Been lucky to of had a few passenger rides in a couple of Ferrari V8's including a 360CS and whilst the sound amazing outside, they sound totally different inside. The induction noise reminds me of a 4cyl Honda S2000. Not a bad thing in a $10k sports car, but not exotic at all in the cabin. Sounds crazy, unless you've experienced it.

The difference in sound from the outside compared to the inside of the Ferrari is very large. I don't know if the microphones have anything to do with it, but from the outside I like it and from the inside I almost dislike it not because of volume, but because of tone.

Question: What's the legislation in NL about exhaust mods? Is this street-legal? What would traffic polices that are near retirement age do when pulled over this wonderful , symphonical art?
In Turkey , even homologus exhausts not this loud , or same loud as stock are subject to car confiscation (until original one is refitted) if it's not what it is out of factory. Some do tolerate, but some take action even when driven at valves-closed mode at that moment.
Sadly the world is evolving into the Electric Age where any good goosebumping car sounds even when done outside residental areas will be banned by time, and this hurts :((
