About 15 years ago, as an adult, I had to have ear tubes after both ear drums ruptured. The first time was in the office and was horrible. They chemically blanched my ear drum with pheynol. The doctor hit a nerve and all I could taste for a month and a half was a zinc-like metallic taste. Then the tubes they used failed and impacted my hearing. I had to then go for an outpatient surgery to remove the turned tubes and put in a different tube. Since then, my hearing was never the same. Fast fowarding, I spent most of last year with ear drum perforations and drainage. When they did a bone conductivity test, they noted a significant loss of hearing due to pressure. This induced my ENT to do a eustacian tube dialation in the hospital. $40K later, I still cannot hear much and my ear feels like my ear drum is going to rupture at any time. My doctor says ear tubes are the only other option. It just sucks. I wish there was something that could be done.

@@jazreelanakjacky7499 I didn't feel the tube per se. The chemically blanching my ear drum...I felt that. Imaging pouring boiling water into your ear. That is what it felt like. It was the most barbaric experience I have ever had at a doctor's office.

@@jazreelanakjacky7499 eustacian tube dialation is a fairly recent thing here. It was not an option ~15 years ago. When I did have it done...was $40k down the drain...totally useless.

After all the years of having Menieres diseases and constant ear ringing , it is nice to sit in a quiet restaurant without anything bothering me. Even the fullness in the bad ear is hardly noticeable. And the constant ear ringing is gone..Took 4weeks thanks Dr Liam Ogbebor Herbal centre RUclips channel for the tinnitus program and herbal ear drop treatment and I hope it stops for everyone else sooner-😊😊

@@jazreelanakjacky7499 i've had to have tubes put in my entire life... ive had THAT surgery 8 or 9 times, some both ears, some just one ... i had my right eardrum repaired ( hole ) with a skin graft that we thought would get my hearing back... the surgery was successful but, didnt address my hearing loss.... dr recommended I see his partner and described the eustachain tube dialation surgery and I decided to go for it.... the only down side was that the dr repaired a deviated septum at the same time so, recovery was a little rough.... glad I did it tho !!!

If the eustachian tube truly is not functioning properly and I have tinnitus, can this procedure help to clear up this condition?

I doubt this guy has even asked his patients what their diets are to see if its causing inflammation. Its just continual whack-a-mole with these sick care professionals.
