SO beautifully shot and edited, you’re an amazing story teller! I wish they would have had this program when I was in college but I ended up working with Imagineering as a consultant all over the world so it worked out ok. 😊 Can’t wait to see the rest!!!
Alright, I’m borrowing a lot of your ideas! I’ve never seen the nightstand for the rolling one provided! Super cool idea to get extra space. Love the hanging lights and your Mickey pillow as well.
Your set up is so cute! My BFF's daughter JUST moved in to FC and starting the DCP. I would love to get her a Tinkerbell sticker for her lightswitch near the headboard like yours and send some happy mail to her for her upcoming BDay later this month. Is this from Etsy? Would you mind sharing? It's adorable! Love the ear hangers as well. Might have to send a set of those too!
Thank you!😊 That's so exciting, hope she has a great time! Here's the link to the Tinkerbell sticker from Etsy: www.etsy.com/listing/842271215/fairy-decal-on-wall-light-switch-disney?ref=yr_purchases And I think I have all the links to everything else in the description :)
Thank you for making these videos. So helpful. Did you roommate share the same closet space where she had to come to your side of the room to use the closet or was there a closet on each side of the room?
oh my goodness u did such a good job decorating your room!! my daughter is going next month and we are super excited for her! i see your dad was with you, did he get to go to all your meetings too? or did he just hang out until you were done?
Thank you!!🥰 no he wasn’t allowed at the meetings, they were pretty short though, if I remember correctly, like 15 minutes for the first one and I think 30-45 minutes for the second one! Congrats and hope your daughter has a great program!:)
Hey there had a question on how the building/apartments set up I lived in Vista Way during DCP back in 2002-2003 as there was no "Flamingo Crossing" as I would stay in building 25 and room 2504 as evens be one side of the building and odds on other side. If you want you can give a random # of apartment as if not comfortable giving the apartment # you stayed at. Thanks!
I got accepted to the DCP and start this August! Your videos have been so helpful! Did you have a packing list/things you wish you brought or didn't need to bring? I'm trying to prepare for moving there and don't know what I actually need.
Yay congratulations!!☺️ whether you’re bringing your car or flying there will make a huge difference on what you can bring. As someone that had a car and definitely brought too much, I could’ve gone without so much Disney themed room decor/merch. You’ll probably buy stuff there with your discount so that was extra of me😝 You also don’t need tons of clothes cause you’ll be working more than not. Maybe wait till you’re there to see what you need for the kitchen/common spaces, because you might have roommates that already bought that stuff. A must-bring item or something to buy there is a good mattress pad/topper. Their mattresses are like plastic. I did also love having my nightstand but not a must. Also an umbrella or rain poncho and a little backpack for work/the parks, but you could also buy a loungefly when you’re there:)
@@DareToElsewhere Thank you so much this is super helpful! I will be coming from California so I will definitely be limited with what I can bring haha!
Oh yeah for sure! One thing some people do is get any bigger stuff you need once you’re actually down there, and then there are Flamingo Crossings Facebook groups to sell that stuff at the end of your program. Hope you have a great program!:)
Always curious with multiple roommates. How do u guys deal with groceries? Do ya all chip in for anything everyone will eat and if u want something else u buy it on ur own?
Definitely check your arrival itinerary for the most up to date info on what to bring, but at my check in we needed either a passport, or a gov issued photo ID AND a supporting document (social security card, birth certificate, etc)

Your room is/was so cute!! I love that you bought all the Harry Potter books. They’re my comfort series
Thanks!🥰 Same, been bringing those copies around everywhere for like 10/15 years now😁
I see those Kingdom Keepers books!! Such a great series!
Love it!! What a beautiful place and I love how you decorated your room!! ❤️
