I just found your channel a few days ago and I must say that you have some of the best DCP videos that I’ve seen!✨I’ve noticed several DCP vloggers just show themselves talking and don’t put a ton of effort in their videos, but I can tell that you truly think through your videos and take the time to make them. You do such a good job with filming, especially when you are talking about a certain place and you actually show it. 📸 I also appreciate how you talk about things that most DCP RUclipsrs don’t talk about. Anyways, you just got a new subscriber! Lol!
It was so cool hearing about your first day training in MK! You're right that most videos don't talk about that at all, so it was awesome hearing about that experience. Congrats on working Pirates!!
Welcome to the family dude! ! I love the costume reveal it was so epic😂 you did a great job with this video as a whole! Enjoy your program as much as possible. This is like the best time of your life so just have fun with it!!🎉🎉
I've been on such a binge watch with your videos lol, I'm starting my program in September and I'm nervous about how things will be but your videos help settle my nerves! Thank you so much for posting C:
It's a shame to hear that many dislike their job. But I imagine after the first month or so, it would transform from interesting into work -- especially during the sticky and crowded summer months. I think I would like the Merchandise role, because it would be easy to trade shifts. You know, to mix things up a bit. Which other roles are easier for trading shifts? Since they opened Flamingo Crossing, it would be interesting to learn what percentage of DCPs termed, self-termed or extended. And if the percentages are different for the different roles. But I doubt Disney would ever publish that information. I also think it would be interesting if Disney would open up the program to anyone that wants to work for Disney. You know, to see if they would enjoy living and working in central Florida. Work, room and board for 6 months. And maybe 2-3 different roles. And if they liked it, they could get an apartment with some of the other people they met during their program. And finally, I sure would like to see Disney make some good decisions with regard to their current labor negotiations. I personally think Disney should be THE place to work in central Florida. And currently, it is not.
Yeah I definitely feel like I got lucky with a really good role, I don’t really remember CP’s terming at pirates at all while I was there and like half of us extended, so role does play a big part in that👍 Merch is the only role I heard about where people were actively trading shifts and they loved that aspect of it so that’s definitely the role for that!
I really enjoy what you have to say. I found another vlogger who is in the program named Charlie he works in Sword and Crown and Epcot and also lives at Flamingo his channel is Charlies Big Adventure, you kids are so sweet I love watching you guys
wait up the Disney College Program that would mean being able to go to the Sausage Castle's for the legendary Disney College parties and if you want to know more about what I'm talking about go listen to the Mike Busey Show it's a podcast and the episode is called The Legendary Disney College Program
you're videos are the best!! i'm binging them all right now 😂 I'm doing the cep this summer and i was wondering if you took notes during the tour? are you allowed to? x
Thank you!!☺️ I didn’t, and didn’t honestly feel the need to because it was mostly just a fun tour with stories and fun facts, and later on it was just meeting my team and getting a little tour of the backstage and stuff🤷🏻♀️ the info dumping doesn’t really start until your first for real training day! But if you wanted to I don’t think they’d stop you!
@@DareToElsewhere oh cool thank u !! that makes sense! i thought maybe we were supposed to be able to tell guests facts 😂 but just enjoying the tour deffo sounds better :))
I am going to do the DCP again for the second time, but don't really want to drive my car across the country again. How are the buses now? I heard they have changed companies and are suppose to be better than the buses in the past.
I never did the buses in the past but I heard they used to break down and like… catch fire often lol and I never heard of a single bus break down on my program 😅 they weren’t ever even late I had no problems. Though to be fair I used Route E which is the Magic Kingdom route which I heard was the most consistent and I heard some of the like less-used resort routes had some problems with buses not showing up so can’t speak to that
Is it true that attractions is hard to get hours for and so when they take rent out your paychecks are almost nothing? I heard people kept self terming over that, so now I'm worried because I don't have family money like a lot of people that do the cp have.
I’ll talk about this a bit in my next video, but hours are really unpredictable and depend on so many different things… like personally I worked more hours than anyone I knew in the program, like 55-60 hours a week and my paychecks were the best I’ve made in my life, but like you could have the total opposite of that in DAK where the park hours are way less than MK, and it can depend on how staffed your location is, etc… it’s so hard to know what your hours are gonna be like till you get there tbh

That’s so exciting do you know your role yet?☺️

the tunnels...i remember my first day working at magic kingdom and it was trash day in the tunnels lol
Oh no not trash day 😆
When you hear “trashin the camp” blasting you know it’s gonna be a rough walk
@@DareToElsewhere I've only heard the Wall-E one lol but then again, I felt like a prisoner at Pecos Bills 💀
i also remember us being taken to ride on haunted mansion
I'm not the only one scared of 'it's a small world'!! My parent's think it's ridiculous, but I can't ride it.
It’s a thing!!😆

Hi
omg Ryan !!
Hey I'm starting my programme on Monday and working in attractions. Did you get working shoes provided or do we need to bring our own pair?
Hey, congrats! When I was there we had to bring our own pair of working shoes
Weird question, but how do you get the disney music in your videos without the copyright? I edit with canva so maybe that has something to do with it?
I don’t 😅 I edited these videos before I was monetized and didn’t care so they all are copyrighted 🥲
I am going to do the DCP again for the second time, but don't really want to drive my car across the country again. How are the buses now? I heard they have changed companies and are suppose to be better than the buses in the past.

is traditions with everyone in that session of the dcp? or is it just in groups?
I think they usually split it into 2 groups, 1 on Friday and 1 on Saturday
Hey! Just found your channel. Are you still there? I work at mermaid
Not anymore! But cool, how do you like working mermaid??
