Mind you, I was 8 years old and extremely excited to be getting a new puppy after a month before my old dog got run over and a goddamn cop came to our house and had our dog in a small box with a blanket over her and gave her back to us. When I was in high school, my friend told me that he went on a drive with some other buddies and they pulled up to a 30ish year old guy getting out of his car. He was probably getting home from work, and they threw eggs at him as they drove by. At the time, I remember feeling shocked, and years later I still think about that. I can just imagine myself being in his position and feeling absolutely depressed to the point of it maybe running my week. The worst part was how the guy react, according to my friend. He didn't yell at them or get angry. He just looked at them with his arms up and sighed. That hurts me. That poor fucking guy. He must have hated being alive in that moment. I didn't even do this, it was my friend, so I can't imagine how he felt about it, especially since he's a great guy and appears to have been peer pressured into doing it. But now that I'm over 30, I think about that guy now and I can just see him in my mind. Maybe he was going through a rough spot. Maybe he just went through a break up. Maybe he had a garbage day at work and it was completely ruined by being egged. This makes me think of shit like that. It's pure evil to do this to people. You could ruin their days or worse. Despicable stuff.

I came from a disadvantaged family, and my mom actually won furniture in a store - it was a dream come true for us.

I really feel for this poor kid. I'd be pissed to hear anyone even suggesting doing something like this to my 13 year old sister. she's not near as young as this kid, but her heart would be just as broken. this is absolutely diabolical to do to a child, especially one with a disability.
I'm also pissed he claimed he didn't know the kid had a hearing impairment when he has a hearing aid on, which is visible on camera so I know he had to have seen it.
I hope he one day understands how insane this "prank" was, though he probably won't.

I used to run a fundraiser for the ACS where I put flamingos on people’s lawns from their friends for a day with a note explaining what to do. Send it to someone else for one price or just have it removed for another. Most people sent it along. Anyway one day I went to pick up some birds and there were only three left out of twelve?!? It seems the spoiled brat children of the homeowners decided they could keep them and give them to their friends?! What killed me was the no big deal attitude the parents had! I insisted that they cough them up or pay for them or I’d call police! That got their attention. As I left with a few more birds and some money I stressed that it was a successful fundraiser and no one had been bold enough to steal from me. Those kids went on to get arrested later in life, no consequences will do that. Shame on the parents who raised monsters who would do this to a disabled child.
