@Vipin bhandari I disagree and would argue that winning a game from behind or a draw late on is a champions mentality and a drive to win he installed in his players, which they are now missing. They have so many talented expensive players who don't do what he could make lesser players do. Wes Brown and John Oshea have more trophies than most of the current United squad lol.

@Vipin bhandari well he's Scottish, and the English press don't like to hype up anyone from the other UK nations lol. I just don't think you can wing it for 20+ years win 2 champions leagues and dozens of domestic trophies based on pure luck. The current man u squad proves that. So many talented players but no end product or drive to win. The prem is alot more competitive now since he left but I think him retiring is a big factor in that. Could Guardiola be one of the most over-rated coaches of all time? He's only ever had the best of the best and more money than Croesus wherever he's been. I would rate José Mourinho above him because despite his failings he has shown he can get results at very different clubs under a wide range of circumstances. Yes he's a bellend at times but I think if you dumpped both of them into a League 2 club Mourinho would get them promoted and playing better long before Guardiola would.

"He has only had the best of the best" that's like saying that Messi isn't that good because he scored 91 goals in a season for Barca and not for West Ham. By your logic I can say that Sam Allardyce is as good a manager than Klopp and Pep since he never had the players the other two have had. I don't understand what you want, for you anything less than a quadruple is a failure for Pep,but then complain about him spending money. This can't work both ways. You can't win trophies with average players.

@Aditya Luthra At Porto and Inter Jose had great players. Don't buy into this rubbish that he had Sunday League players there. At Inter too he had fantastic players. Pep isn't praised for winning the treble with Eto'o but when Jose does the same then he becomes the greatest of all time. The hypocrisy is so visible. Also he managed to drag a title winning squad into a relegation battle.

I'd say marez is worst signing hes useless he such a greedy player and in a pep team which is about teamwork good connexion and bonding he doesnt fit in plus the time where he didnt play football cause he wanted a move and didnt get it so decided to sit out till next transfer window should have played sane instead you got more assist out him which was important as this season only scored 9 goals

I feel bad for Mendy honestly. It's looking retty close to the end of his career already. Unlikely he'll displace Cancelo now and he's not played regular football for years. A shame really. His crosses were thunderous. Was hoping to see him cause some spectacular own goals.
Stones is a strange case. For a while he was looking like he was developing nicely under Guardiola but then after a few error prone matches he's just never looked the same. He seems almost too nice to be a good CB. A shame really.
I hope Stones gets sent somewhere so he can start playing again. I suspect he could still find another level if he got his confidence back.

Pep doing good with developing defenders? He never did good developing in defenders. They always end up forgetting how to defend. I remember an Italian footballer(forgetting his name) also accused Pep that he destroyed defenders. Considering how most defenders are playing since Barcelona being famous about ball playing and defenders training a hell lot of ball playing and forget how to defend, I agree.

First team he ever trained was barca with messi, ronaldinho, eto'o, xavi and iniesta..lmfao. even I would have won the CL with em. Can't win the CL with man city. Dude...guardi is overrated af. To keep it real. He simply never trained a team that wasn't worldclass and top 3 before he came and even when he did man city gave him hundreds of millions to invest. I don't particularly agree that John Stones is one of Pep's worst signings. He unfortunately struggled with injuries and that's for sure a setback. But when he plays, he's quite good. He was very solid at the World Cup for England also. I honestly think it's unfair to put John Stones in a list like that when there's factors that hasn't made him show how good he actually is.
