We’re definitely much better than people give credit for. Caicedo is another who has been fantastic for a while now. Think Fofana and Sanchez are my main concerns from the starters, Enzo a bit hit and miss, prefer Lavia when fit. I’m quite optimistic now though, hopefully a good chance of top 4 this season and then push on from there.
As a chelsea fan, the past year was a trip for sure. To be fair, when he arrived i assumed we just wasted 45mil on a squad player with potential, but he is 21 years old and was at best a sub option at city. When he played the first few matches i realized that he is not **as** useless as i feared, when he scored the first pen i was wondering why he of all people was taking the pen. It finally clicked when he told off i think madueke and Jackson for the pen and scored it. This dude has NO fear, just imagine any other 21yo non-superstar missing that, and even alone the fear of missing it, i personally would have a breakdown if i broke up a fight between two players and took the ball for the pen. I would not be able to even take the kick. From that point forward, his confidence on the pitch was just insane, he started to go for more and more 1 vs 1s, shooting and scoring from insane positions, his linkup play, with jackson in particular, was insane. But to be fair, i could not have imagined that he would be that good for this long. Maybe a hot streak, like pulisic during lockdown or gilmore under lampard with back to back man of the match performances. The final part of "ok, i am all in on cole palmer, get me his jersey and an artwork in my livingroom" was last week. The free kick, the shooting power during the 4th goal and, for me the most impressive part, his pass from midfield over the entire brighton lineup to find jackson with a single touch was just insane. If Jackson would have made that goal, i think more people would talk about the assist than the goal itself. I can not wait for what this dude is going to archieve in this sport. He is, for me, footballs kimi raikkonen. Dont talk, just play. I love those kinda people. I always have issues with "larger than life" personalities like CR7. I just dont like these types of people. And palmer is the complete opposite.
I’m gutted, pep as experimental coach he is but never put palmer at amf. He just a grealish 2.0 at city. Slow, fear to take on player, lack confidence but he got finishing abilities. But i guess the penalty duties poch put him change his game
Palmer has to be considered the best player in the prem due to the fact that Chelsea would have been lost without him last year. Haaland is elite ofc but he plays for the best team in the world with the best manager in the world.
I think he is similar to Alex Honnold, who free climbed El Capitan in Yosemite. Alex has an abnormality and lacks a sense of fear. Cole is truly fearless and unaffected by the magnitude of the game or the moment.
As a city fan i was cherish when city sold him for £40m. Thought he would just be another squad player at chelsea. But now gutted, why pep didn’t unlock this version of palmer ? Why make him a grealish 2.0 at city? But i doubt he will replace kdb/foden at that position. The bright side is we still got oscar bobb who is showing great potential & savinho has been fire.
Well, two of the best players in Premier League history, salah and De bruyne, were also scraping for minutes in chelsea's 2014 team. It's not about how good a team is. It's about allowing a player to blossom in a completely different setup to actually become a world-class player

I'm so hyped for this kid. Nobody really plays like him, truly special. I think he'll be one of the all time greats
The fact that Southgate only played him for the amount of time that he did was a crime against humanity
If there was ever a movie about him I think Tom Hanks should play Cole Palmer
Honestly he's basically the Forrest Hump of football, natural unbelievable talent and nothing but ball in his head. Honestly, 2026 is looking good if he keeps going like this.
Chelsea have a really tricky set of fixtures coming up, now will be the real test for them after the international break.
Considering the constant vacant expression he is extremely exciting to watch.
Some say he's cold 🥶
I really doubt he has low intelligence. He is most likely just uncomfortable speaking on camera. He will get better at it with time. Look how bad Haaland was during his first year or two after breaking out.
“Playing football is very simple, but playing simple football is the hardest thing there is.” Johan Cruyff.
Thinking is very simple , but simple thinking is the hardest there is - Cole Palmer
city fan speaking.... i
As a Chelsea fan I've never ever gotten this much excitement over a player since Hazard bro is special and for me is one of the best players he's just so cold🥶pun intended
As a city fan i always bored watching him play. He seems afraid & 1 dimensional. But now i watch chelsea game just for him. What a lad. Pep system somehow lock his abilities. Just as he did to grealish
dear dear cole palmer yk what i think of him i love him he cheers me up when am down every weekend even if we tie win or lose just seeing his face is so heart warming
Best player in the PL this season, I'm calling it
"Thats why they call him cold palmer init 🥶🥶" - A wise man
Wise man indeed
Thanks a lot man ❤ This means a lot to me 🥶🥶🥶
7:24 literally been stuff I’ve done where I’m like, if I knew what I had to go through, I wouldn’t have done it, Ignorance is sometimes bliss. 😂
He might be the best player in the world at the moment
Trouble is.... When he does start to think he'll break his super power and boom. He'll overthink and get in his own head.
The man is a wizzard, fair play to him. Alot of people myself included thought chelsea spent alot on him at the time. Hes proving to a real special player and there aint many about nowadays
Cole Palmer is built different 💪
Freak of nature that lad
My only regret from the offseason - not signing Olise. Why? The Palmer Olise interviews would have been UNMATCHED. 😂
You know what’s crazy? His free kick the other day was perfection and he was interviewed after the game about how often he practices them. He was like “…not that much aye”
Palmer surprised me alot i wasn't expecting him to perform like this when i saw the news about his transfer to Chelsea
As a Chelsea fan, it's been way too depressing the past few years. Hopefully Palmer will help us regain some ice cold glory.
I thought it was already too cold here but then I watched this video 🥶
Hes intelligent he just doesn't care. Everybody is different and have pros and cons. Credits to how he was raised.
I know it's early but as a Chelsea fan i knew you were wrong about your take about Chelsea before the season started
I mean, it's just turned to October so i'll give it a few weeks to see how we are mate but i'm more than willing to do a video giving Chelsea their flowers when the time comes
I just knew is not a good argument this is the prem where you can win every game one month and lose every game the next vizeh based his opinion on previous form and maresca's management of Leicester which was highly suspect at the time so at least his opinion is based also the palmer effect where Chelsea would be without him which is why i respect vizehs opinions even when they can be wrong because he always supports his opinions with fact sometimes the trend will deviate that's the law of odds for you you can have all the history of what a roulette wheel has spun but it never means you will always be correct but usually in the ballpark but sometimes way off😂😂😂
We’re definitely much better than people give credit for.
Cole Palmer and Nikolas Jacksun is going to be the lethal duo we've been waiting for.
Its just Cold Palmer innit🥶🥶
Pls let Palmer develop in peace together with his young teammates. Chill with all the praises, let's just move quietly & start winning titles.
the oscar piastri of football
Palmer should have gotten way more playing time in the Euros
Also, his haircut makes him look like he was home schooled in a barn 😂😂
He the most exciting I know that.
I've said it months ago, I'm saying it now and I will be saying it in the near future - give this Chelsea squad some time and they will be beasts
VIZEH IS MY HERO!
Cheers Tom
From a city fan he’s the best in the Prem at the moment without a doubt
He’s not better than De Bruyne mate. But Cole’s next to him.
I’m gutted, pep as experimental coach he is but never put palmer at amf. He just a grealish 2.0 at city. Slow, fear to take on player, lack confidence but he got finishing abilities. But i guess the penalty duties poch put him change his game
@@BampissI know you are not ok he is what you dreamed grealish will be
Palmer has to be considered the best player in the prem due to the fact that Chelsea would have been lost without him last year. Haaland is elite ofc but he plays for the best team in the world with the best manager in the world.
Can 100% agree with Palmer being the most vital player to any team in the Premier League in the last season or so
I think he is similar to Alex Honnold, who free climbed El Capitan in Yosemite. Alex has an abnormality and lacks a sense of fear. Cole is truly fearless and unaffected by the magnitude of the game or the moment.
The generational talent we didn’t know we needed.
I think City made a mistake selling Palmer, especially if they knew they will be selling Alvarez soon as well.
Sometimes when I see him I'm like did he smoke some fent before the game cus bro seems so chill whenever he's on camera
I see the catfish and the bottlemen stuff, good ball knowledge and good music 🔥
Cole Palmer is the best player of the WORLD.
Well, two of the best players in Premier League history, salah and De bruyne, were also scraping for minutes in chelsea's 2014 team. It's not about how good a team is. It's about allowing a player to blossom in a completely different setup to actually become a world-class player
If chelsea win the epl all the commentary channels pundits and everything who Milked us should tell Chelsea sorry
I mean when a club can spend way over a billion and go backwards for 3 years that's worth talking about no?
@Vizeh what about all the sales and players that are already above the price we bought them for? In a few years time they'll all look silly when we're in profit 😂
@@Vizehif by going backwards you mean stumbling upon the best player in the league than that's success. Also a UCL title(2021) can be bragged about for at least 5 years. Since, you know, clubs like Arsenal haven't won that in 150 years of their existence. I think pundits and rival fans prematurely thought Chelsea were dead, and now they know it's only a matter of time for major silverware to come.
@@omarfaruque98xywho’s still there from the 2021 squad ?? It was only 3 years ago & you guys clean everyone. (Don’t mention reece james, that guy are close to gone too)
You know chippy chips
He’s gonna be the next hazard
He is probably the most relatable player ever
