@@Vizeh I guess so but you had the Chelsea fanbase questioning the choice to sign a relatively young and inexperienced player for £40million so to make that look like a bargain says alot
I think Chelsea have this season and next season at the most to compete for all the titles. If they don't join the top 5 to 8 clubs in that time, I think it will be difficult to keep Cole in the squad. Sooner or later a bigger club will try to sign him for some crazy money and if Cole is not going to win titles with Chelsea, he might consider leaving. But I think Chelsea will improve a lot this season and finish in the top 4. And I really think they can be in the title race next season. The squad is getting more experienced by the minute. Nico has improved, but he still has a long way to go. Caicedo is playing amazingly this season. Cucu is sick. Enzo is showing what it means to be a 500IQ midfielder. If Chelsea start defending better, I really think they will be a big threat to the top clubs next season. And if Chelsea get to the top quickly, I don't think Cole will leave the Blues. The only clubs bigger than Chelsea are Real and Barcelona. I don't think Real will ever try to sign him. And Barcelona... they don't have the money. If Chelsea are strong, I can't see Cole going to a club like Bayern, Arsenal or United. From a marketing point of view, there is no reason to move.
Well, two of the best players in Premier League history, salah and De bruyne, were also scraping for minutes in chelsea's 2014 team. It's not about how good a team is. It's about allowing a player to blossom in a completely different setup to actually become a world-class player
Cole Palmer strikes me as the guy who shows his value on the pitch not by yapping. Let alone answering the boring redundant questions of the press. We need more players like him. Footballers don’t need charisma, they just need some humility and discipline. This ain’t hollywood or reality TV even though most people nowadays think of football this way. There is a charm old school footballers have because of how mysterious they come across. Now all players are obsessed with branding and exposure.
As a chelsea fan, the past year was a trip for sure. To be fair, when he arrived i assumed we just wasted 45mil on a squad player with potential, but he is 21 years old and was at best a sub option at city. When he played the first few matches i realized that he is not **as** useless as i feared, when he scored the first pen i was wondering why he of all people was taking the pen. It finally clicked when he told off i think madueke and Jackson for the pen and scored it. This dude has NO fear, just imagine any other 21yo non-superstar missing that, and even alone the fear of missing it, i personally would have a breakdown if i broke up a fight between two players and took the ball for the pen. I would not be able to even take the kick. From that point forward, his confidence on the pitch was just insane, he started to go for more and more 1 vs 1s, shooting and scoring from insane positions, his linkup play, with jackson in particular, was insane. But to be fair, i could not have imagined that he would be that good for this long. Maybe a hot streak, like pulisic during lockdown or gilmore under lampard with back to back man of the match performances. The final part of "ok, i am all in on cole palmer, get me his jersey and an artwork in my livingroom" was last week. The free kick, the shooting power during the 4th goal and, for me the most impressive part, his pass from midfield over the entire brighton lineup to find jackson with a single touch was just insane. If Jackson would have made that goal, i think more people would talk about the assist than the goal itself. I can not wait for what this dude is going to archieve in this sport. He is, for me, footballs kimi raikkonen. Dont talk, just play. I love those kinda people. I always have issues with "larger than life" personalities like CR7. I just dont like these types of people. And palmer is the complete opposite.
Was never a long term plan. Chelsea had just sold havertz and mount and were looking for a young number 10. Cole had no experience but he'd just turned 21 a year younger than foden and saka so it's not they were signing him as an 18 year old. There was a decent amount of expectations on him but never did we think he'd turn out this good
This is hardly debatable. Palmer is special. He doesn't even try to play, he's so synched with football. A natural at the job. Also, him scoring penalties proves he is not only talented but consistent.
Honestly he's basically the Forrest Hump of football, natural unbelievable talent and nothing but ball in his head. Honestly, 2026 is looking good if he keeps going like this.
One thing i should add is that if we originally didnt plan on getting Palmer, it was actually Olise we had went for. Then it was reportedly a decision between Kudus and Palmer, with Sancho as a plan B if neither of them happened. Funny old world huh
I really doubt he has low intelligence. He is most likely just uncomfortable speaking on camera. He will get better at it with time. Look how bad Haaland was during his first year or two after breaking out.
Not saying having a football brain correlates to being actually smart but for how good his football brain is he’s coz got to have somewhat of an iq 🤣🤣🤣🤣

If someone in Chelsea is gonna prove people wrong, it might be Mudryk. Too much vitriol against him.
Right now he's the best player in the world
Just in form? lets see if he can keep this up
That's what chippy chips does to a mf 🥶
He the most exciting I know that.
He’s gonna be the next hazard
Palmer is really special so am I durr
the oscar piastri of football
Thank god Gareth is gone eh........
It's funny seeing Palmer with incredible football output and barely any PR to Real Madrid players with bad performances and huge PR
Now all players are obsessed with branding and exposure.
vizeh yk chippy chips?
Love me some chippy chips bro
There was a decent amount of expectations on him but never did we think he'd turn out this good
VIZEH IS MY HERO!
Cheers Tom
29 seconds ago is crazy
This is hardly debatable. Palmer is special. He doesn't even try to play, he's so synched with football. A natural at the job.
Also, him scoring penalties proves he is not only talented but consistent.
Honestly he's basically the Forrest Hump of football, natural unbelievable talent and nothing but ball in his head. Honestly, 2026 is looking good if he keeps going like this.
Great player in 2024. I forsee him getting injured and never really being the same again. Hope I'm wrong.
Goal Gold COLD Palmer
One thing i should add is that if we originally didnt plan on getting Palmer, it was actually Olise we had went for. Then it was reportedly a decision between Kudus and Palmer, with Sancho as a plan B if neither of them happened. Funny old world huh
Palmer is the only reason I've stuck by Chelsea... I don't even recognize my team anymore but.. I have hope
I really doubt he has low intelligence. He is most likely just uncomfortable speaking on camera. He will get better at it with time. Look how bad Haaland was during his first year or two after breaking out.
Not only in the EPL.. He is the best player in the world... No player right now can come to Chelsea and do what Cold Palmer does..!!
Guys, I'm tired of hiding, but it's me who advised Chelsea to sign Cole Palmer.
He's not the VERY best at any specific skill, but he's so good at all of them that it makes him the current best Prem player imo.
Wot? - Cole Palmer
He’s literally a sports anime character. He’s dumb off the pitch, but on the pitch he’s a genius
If Phil Foden is worth 150 million, then Palmer must be worth 250 I guess
Great player, but that's all he is, and let's not make him anymore than that. He is so Northern, zero personality
Stats dont lie, and even more, hes a more complete player. Would be perfect false 9 for Pep Ball hahahah what a Stinker
Not saying having a football brain correlates to being actually smart but for how good his football brain is he’s coz got to have somewhat of an iq 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Pls let Palmer develop in peace together with his young teammates. Chill with all the praises, let's just move quietly & start winning titles.
Ssssshhhh big daddy Palmer
Palmer surprised me alot i wasn't expecting him to perform like this when i saw the news about his transfer to Chelsea
😅lol I need that Titok link for Dunno 🤷♂️ ice 🧊 cold 🥶 palmer
Flip flopping after shit talking Chelsea for too long. Chelsea got a serious solid project and all rivals are just seeing it now
Palmer was the best player last season but the media had already married the idea of foden being the best early on. I think the euros solidified his talent regardless of the system. He really is elite
Saka is not in the top tier of technical players in the prem. His best attribute is everything mental.
Best thing he did was leave Man City, Pep coaches the flair out of players
You lost me at the Jack Graelish effect. Never put Jack in the same sentence as. Palmer.
He has buckets of charisma, he just doesn't have to talk to have it.
