No doubt that signing Wahi and Greenwood was awful and contested by some fans but adding the other teammates in the same basket of criminals is just a big stretch. The things you accused Maupay, Lirola, Balerdi or Mbemba of are behaviours you'll find in every locker room in PL. And Mendy was just a rumour as many other players are often linked with Marseille to sell paper or increase their market value. I mean the sole recruitments of Wahi and Greenwood should be well enough of a huge problem to point our finger at the club, the rest is just trying to find problems for every player that you'll once again find in every other club if you just take the time to look closer. Most footballers are young guys earning too much money with not much sense of responsability, we could totally start a list of all players involved in shady activities but it would take forever. The real lesson we should learn from this is that we shouldn't look upon footballers as role models and the whole sport is rotten in every part from the players to the presidents and agents.

Why would PR be less important to you just because you operate in a somewhat smaller market? I don't think that makes sense at all.
Manchester was the biggest brand one and a half decades ago. Now there is not much to split them from Marseilles tbh
Luiz Henrique is either feeling like the sane man on a mad house
Or is secretly the Comando Vermelho boss or something
At least they never employed Bruno Fernandes das Dores de Souza. A really sick individual of a Brazilian goalkeeper

So the court didn't fine these guys guilt .. I guess in the public space and social media space there is no second chance in lift even though the court say not guilt , so I don't know .. its weird cause the female and greenwood move on pass the situation and here we go again ..

Mendy was found not guilty in court. This is a bit slanderous.
And? Did you not watch the video? 8 women accused him. That doesn’t happen if you’ve never raped a woman.
I accused taylo swift of stealing my lyrics.@@keithwellerlounge74
You should check up what slander is and what it requires.
Alfie said that Mendy was found not guilt. He simply stated publicly known facts around the case. So accurate descriptions are now slanderous?
@Jonathanizer his picture is in the thumbnail, that's enough for me.
They should hire Patrick Kluivert, who was charged with manslaughter in 1996. Maybe as assistant coach or sth
Soon enough they'll sign P Diddy
I know that most of these guys are weirdos but putting the guy who was driving just 10 over the speed limit in the same lot as the rest of these is frankly ridiculous. That seems like a genuine accident, treating someone like a murdered for 10 over the speed limit is ridiculous.
The only comment with a sense
eh he didn't say that they're criminals or anything. just rude people/performers which kinda futs the theme of the video: an evil club. being annoying on the pitch is, of course, a lesser evil than what wahi and greenwood were accused of but it still kinda fits the theme
Lmao Greenwood isn't a criminal ffs he abused his girlfriend and was made out to be the biggest wronging ever even though they were back together soon after
Partey to marseille here we go
There's no excuse for rapists, but someone's dying in a car accident can happen for many reasons. Probably dude's having nightmares since then. This doesn't make him inherently evil or something.
Greenwood did not rape anyone, I guess you like to project your fantasies on others.
Apparently for the bimbos who were "raped" there is forgiveness, all it takes is for 6 digits to appear in their bank accounts and that solves it most of the time.

With the Mendy one, it went to trial and some sort of process was followed. That doesn't mean he was innocent. However, with Greenwood, the fact that it didn't go to trial and the circumstances around why, will rightly follow him and should be brought up at every opportunity.
Which circumstances? She dropped the charges and is still with him. Why are you guys getting offended for her?

So if a player is acquited by justice they are STILL the bad guys? Damn Europe is crazy
Nah this is an Anglo thing. Middle classes are resentful towards the upper class, and always play the moral superiority card so in their mind it proves that they are better than them. This has been happening since protestantism took over the country. His explanation as to why he doesn't believe these people deserve a second chance is an excellent example of this.
assuming you are American you literally have a former president found guilty of rape, still walking free and running for office again.
SA cases are difficult to prove, in the Greenwood case there is literally audio of him saying those threats, the issue there is the victim dropped the case $$$$$$$

He was the one who got charged and even if that's true, he let his 14 year old brother kill a innocent man...
He is responsible for the car being there legal driver and his insurance company don't get to choose not to payout just because he doesn't in control
That's probably even worse
If he let his young brother drive his car and recklessly kill a man, that makes it kinda worse.
Looks like a very machiavellical strategy of buying experienced player that are on the cheaper side, because they've been disgraced, while also raking a lot of publicity with the controversy and maybe reaching the "red-pill", "anti-cancel-culture" crowd as a potential market.
The rise of Bodo/Glimt
They need to sign Ben Yedder to complete the set
I'm sorry but your prejudice against Mendy is quite disgraceful. He went to court, he was found not guilty, he was acquitted. What more does he need to do to prove his innocence and why should clubs not sign someone who has done nothing wrong in the eyes of the law?
There's lots of reasons people get acquitted against the very high bar set in a court. As private citizens everyone is allowed to reach a different conclusion, though.
No idea if this relates directly but there appears to be a strong belief in, (ahem) certain political circles, that actions or words are only bad if it is someone we don’t like doing them. People like this scream blue murder about the supposed misdeeds of their opponents whilst either being silent on, or actively celebrating the much greater misdeeds of the people they support, in the belief that doing so will wind up the people they don’t like. It is astonishingly infantile but is proving to be even more astonishingly, and depressingly, successful.
Initially I thought Greenwood should be banned for life and jailed but there’s a level of entitlement and immaturity there that’s hard to fathom. He’ll never play for England again
