I hope we get to see more of this game with our pelican lad once it's released. It's one of those games that lends itself perfectly to anyone with a large beak and wings.
Everyone says that video games are dumb and dont give life lessons but clearly papa peli is teaching us how to recruit random people of the streets see it teaches lessons.
As a Londoner, I have to say, this game really LOOKS like modern London, it's uncanny how I can see some of my favourite IRL walking routes in this video alone. But my major concern is the voice acting. A lot of the NPCs and procegenned player characters seem to be voiceovered by American actors doing their "best impressions" of what they think a Londoner sounds like. From what I've heard, every NPC speaks like Tracer from Overwatch. People outside London might not notice it, but as someone who is constantly exposed to a range of London accents and dialects, it seems pretty jarring to my ears.
These people were laughing at my pelican. I told them to apologized. They laughed. I told them "My pelican gets the crazy idea you're laughing at him" Then I killed all four of them.
Crazy thing is that each NPC has their own personality and they have PermDeath as well as getting arrested, having relationships, etc. How hasn’t this game been talked about?

Then again those lectures more than likely contributed to the US catching up to and then exceeding the Soviets capability in that field
