Legion was such a step back in so many ways. WD2 is the true peak of this franchise. Hopefully it hasn't been killed by Ubisoft and comes back one day.
Watch Dogs 2 had perfect Gameplay. You could say Watchdogs 1 had the better story. If you combine both of them you could easily get something spectacular.

I had a fun time with WD1 and it set the foundation. I had a a really great time playing WD 2 and it was a huge improvement over 1. Legion was okay, played it once and never touched it again. IMO the few things Legion does well with is character customization, combat, stealth and getting drunk at the pub. In Legion hacking is severely downgraded from WD2 and the overall world immersion is also downgraded. I’ll replay WD 1 & 2 any day while Legion just collects dust.
Yep! To me, Watch Dogs 1 is goat. The world immersion is better and the pedestrians movement and scenarios are incredibly detailed. Makes the world feel truly alive.
Agreed, however I would only replay the bloodlines dlc for legion since they have Aiden and Wrench. *SPOILERS* : The last mission of the main campaign was interesting seeing how everything has gone to chaos while driving to the next objective but other than that, it wasn't a memorable experience worthy of another replay for the campaign.
WD2 was an improvement in every way It's a shame it's sales were affected by WD1's reputation, and then the gameplay went backwards with Legion. Watch Dogs as a whole could have been great. I was ready for it.

I had revisited it years later because I couldn't kill a certain type of enemy. It will forever hold a special place in my heart

I could just walk around in both Chicago and SF for hours just immersing myself in the world. Played 1 with Living City and a reshade. Absolutely fantastic, I hope they remaster it and make it look like it was at E3 or even better. The faction wars in 2, absolutely nothing else does that like that game. It's kinda hard to walk and enjoy the scenery in 2 though, the deadzone is shit (DS4 on PC).
I didn't play WD1. WD2 was the game I played the most and I played the beginning of Legion. My initial feel was that WD2 was the best. They went for something different and committed to it and it feels like an enjoyable game. Legion feels a bit eh. As a Londoner I was excited to explore the city but it seems a bit half baked? I'll try to play it some more in the future and hopefully it gets better.
It's basically like 70% of the budget went to AC Valhalla and 30% to WD Legion... the fact they dropped the phone UI and a custom Media Player is really off puttting and i haven't touched the game since launch... on the other hand AC has over 700H's compared to less than 5 for WDL....

Watch dogs one is the OG, has sentimental value to me I was going through a rough time in life and playing that on sleepless nights helped me a lot. Im replaying years later with a graphics boost and I love it even more.
WD :- normal life of a man is turned upside down in turn of events and now he's on his journey to find out the main culprit and would do anything to get what he wants . WD2:- A programmer gets falsely accused buy the ctos2.0 system for the crime he never committed, he's now up against the whole system with a group of hackers called the dedsec . WD3 :- Everyone in the city is hacker apparently and they still can't do shit out thier situation .
No bullet hit effect and missing gun slide recoil in WD1 is due to the fact that development was problematic and devs probably couldn't fix it in time/forgot about it. 2013 development builds of the game had these features. More can be found in my channel.
I played Watch Dogs 1 and 2, but haven't played the third one. I don't know if I will play it, but I am thinking about playing the DLCs of the first 2 games. Are they any good?
First two are great, but Legion just felt a little too easy in some parts. Theres so many of those cargo drone spawns you can use to get to certain parts of the map, or you could just call in the counter terrorism drones to wipe out all enemies for you while you sit back. Not too bad, but if you want a game with a good story, play the first two instead
The main thing that original had me drawn to Watch_Dogs was the online. For 1 and 2, it was a great experience before people had completed the game. In WD2 specifically, online after beating the game was horrific. People would just set up trap zones and camp in high up, hard to reach spots, very boring. Comparatively, in WD1 you couldn't quite do that as easily, and a majority of people would instead aim to hunt you down or play the way intended: Stealth. The online was like playing a spy game. Super cool.
WD1 had the best story, WD2 had the best gameplay and setting (SF looked so good in this game), WDL had the best weapons use (compared to the other two). But that’s just in my own opinion.

But the variety of weapons and the options to use them all is what makes WD2 better in terms of weapons. It sucks we can’t use all types of weapons in Legion. Especially the melee weapons. We can’t even change those in Legion.
@@sandcrakes at least with Aiden, most of the weapons of anyone you recruit can be used by him. That’s why I played Legion using Aiden and Wrench as much as possible. I recruited a spy and a hitman so I can get the silenced pistol and the assault rifle. Then I kept recruiting those people that has clothing discounts, plus a lawyer with a bail out, and a medical dude with triage.
Underrated opinion but WDL to me is okay. I have played it three times and I enjoy that you can chose so many different characters, i really liked the ability to be anyone you really wanted. But the story felt bland, didn't make you feel attached to the characters, and the gameplay downgraded. But I don't really hate it like most of you do. It's still fun to play. Also it is not a main game, it's more like a spin-off. It's like the RE games, you have Dead Aim, Outbreak series, Darkside Chronicles, Revelations, Operation Raccon City, Resistance, etc. Which are part of the series but not considered major games so they are not as good as the main games.

As someone who came into the franchise blind with no knowledge no information about the games at all so far WD1 to me had a better story a better representation of what a vigilante hacker it’s trying to aim for with a good story and believable hacking elements loved the game. WD2 did improve a lot on the hacking and many other things a great world to interact with and a decent multiplayer (I played the game maybe 2-3 almost 4 years after it came out so didn’t have a full experience) but the story was a bit more mild for me although I did enjoy it. WD3 it was free so I finally downloaded it played it for 7 hours and uninstalled it didn’t like it hacking was so simple and most of it felt bland don’t really wanna finish it honestly. My rating would be WD1 - 9.1/10 WD2 - 8.7/10 WD3 - 7.3/10
In WD2, the NPCs don't usually stand there if you block the road. That one was just the result of blocking a truck while the other NPC car was staying really close to it, so the truck driver couldn't reverse. As for the games, WD2 remains the king. WD1 is still good and Legion is just... Oh boy, so wrong on so many levels.
Yo disfruté mucho jugando Legion, por sus mecánicas, las habilidades interesantes de los agentes (como lanzar abejas asesinas, llamar ayudantes para pelear, hipnotizar al enemigo etc) o sobrevolar Londres con el dron de carga. Pienso que el hecho de no tener un personaje principal y una historia floja le resto muchos puntos, pero en todo lo demás a mi me pareció muy bueno. Denle una oportunidad si no lo han jugado, y mi consejo es eviten reclutar muchos agentes, escojan sólo unos cuántos que les sean "interesantes" o útiles y jueguen toda la historia con ellos, mejora mucho la experiencia de ese modo.
Legion es bastante divertido, estoy de acuerdo, me decepcionó que eliminaran las funciones de los auriculares. ¡el sistema de combate era bastante bueno!

Empecé a jugarlo hace poco, lo de los agentes y la historia me parecen interesantes pero la jugabilidad, no se, no me termina de convencer, siento que tiene menos cosas que el 2 y no se como conseguir más hacks, no hay arbol de habilidades y cambiaron el menú tipo teléfono por uno parecido al de los FarCry. Igual lo seguiré jugando, ya pague por el xd
En cuestión de gráficas mejora legión, pero le quitaron lo bueno y entretenido como el hackeo on line, caza recompensas, y entre otras actividades, se torna aburrido después que te pasas la historia original, y si bloodline es muy buena historia, pero en cuanto a jugabilidad muy malangas la verdad , prefiero mil veces el 2
Watch dogs 1 fue el que a mí parecer tuvo la mejor historia, watch dogs 2 me gustaron sus gráficos y paisajes coloridos, en cambio watch dogs legion en un cierto punto me termina aburriendo, quizá su mapa, sus personajes a los que no tienen una historia detrás tan relevante o quizá lo muy fantástico que es en unas oportunidades...
@@coolyyosef6974 That's weird... the XOne and PS4 versions looks so much like the PC version (and the game was also more focused for the PS4, as it was sort of a launch title for it), and the X360 and PS3 in my opinion... the graphics looked too "plastic" compared to the new gen and PC counterparts.
I don't care what anyone says, Watch_Dogs holds a special place in my heart and is still the best one out of the franchise as I really loved Aiden's characterization and story. The gameplay was definitely fun and the combat was awesome. The story was definitely dark but it definitely fit for a city like Chicago. Watch Dogs 2 story is fine but definitely not as good as the first but the gameplay and setting is hella awesome. I personally loved Legion since you could be any character and it takes place where I was raised so props to the developers for getting London correct as much as they could but the story was ok and the gameplay was fun but it could have been better if it was during 2018-2023 instead of 2029 and all futuristic
Best story line is watch dogs 1, best game play is watch dogs 2 I was having fun with legions but about 14 hours in my game file deleted itself and put me back at the beginning and I raged and deleted the game. Legions definitely had the better clothing options though and the fly around on the drone was epic.

WD 1 is the best WD, more adult friendly, dark history, dark city, dark mafias, a game about vengeance, jusstice and criminal world. WD2 and WD Legionss are more "comedy" and child-friendly
I think 1 was the best. Watch_Dogs was made to be a dark game, but people hated that too much. 2 was good, but I hated the stupid Tumblr culture stuff. I haven't tried Legion.
the only thing that bothered me is that in watch dogs 2 the camera was far away from the player and the car. And in WD1 it was close to the player and the car which made it more realistic and the world around you seemed even bigger. And I don't know why but in WD1 the cars look better than in WD2... in WD2 they look like toy cars
WD2 was awesome in terms of side content, you could feel like just an average dude in California having fun. My favority storyline will always be WD1, but I'm currently replaying WD2 and paying more attention to it, it is actually pretty good, Legion on the other hand, I always knew how it would turn out to be, loved Bloodline tho.
2 was a big improvement over what you can do in 1 and then Legion just nerfs your hacking abilities by limiting stuff to certain classes and having a small skill tree.
Ubisoft needs to make more watchdogs games. These hackers are the Assassin's creed of the 21st century, though as watchdogs legion shows, the assassin's creed and the Templar exist in the 21st century.
For me watch dogs 2 was and still is the best of the 3. Appealing story, nice gameplay, beautiful graphics, beautiful maps, amazing soundtrack and several other great features. Watchdogs went down a cliff with 3.
I cannot be the only one who finds legion to actually be a pretty good game with its combat and hacking abilities, only real complaint is the lack of ai people in cars which can get rid of some realism, such as stopping when getting in a crash or getting out and running after hearing shooting but either than that it looks great and plays great, especially with the bloodline dlc!

Yo disfruté mucho jugando Legion, por sus mecánicas, las habilidades interesantes de los agentes (como lanzar abejas asesinas, llamar ayudantes para pelear, hipnotizar al enemigo etc) o sobrevolar Londres con el dron de carga. Pienso que el hecho de no tener un personaje principal y una historia floja le resto muchos puntos, pero en todo lo demás a mi me pareció muy bueno. Denle una oportunidad si no lo han jugado, y mi consejo es eviten reclutar muchos agentes, escojan sólo unos cuántos que les sean "interesantes" o útiles y jueguen toda la historia con ellos, mejora mucho la experiencia de ese modo.
Además el juego mejora un 1000% con el DLC bloodlines.
Jugar con Aiden y Wrench hace que la historia principal tenga mucho más sentido
Legion es bastante divertido, estoy de acuerdo, me decepcionó que eliminaran las funciones de los auriculares. ¡el sistema de combate era bastante bueno!

Empecé a jugarlo hace poco, lo de los agentes y la historia me parecen interesantes pero la jugabilidad, no se, no me termina de convencer, siento que tiene menos cosas que el 2 y no se como conseguir más hacks, no hay arbol de habilidades y cambiaron el menú tipo teléfono por uno parecido al de los FarCry. Igual lo seguiré jugando, ya pague por el xd
En cuestión de gráficas mejora legión, pero le quitaron lo bueno y entretenido como el hackeo on line, caza recompensas, y entre otras actividades, se torna aburrido después que te pasas la historia original, y si bloodline es muy buena historia, pero en cuanto a jugabilidad muy malangas la verdad , prefiero mil veces el 2
Watch dogs 1 fue el que a mí parecer tuvo la mejor historia, watch dogs 2 me gustaron sus gráficos y paisajes coloridos, en cambio watch dogs legion en un cierto punto me termina aburriendo, quizá su mapa, sus personajes a los que no tienen una historia detrás tan relevante o quizá lo muy fantástico que es en unas oportunidades...

@@coolyyosef6974 That's weird... the XOne and PS4 versions looks so much like the PC version (and the game was also more focused for the PS4, as it was sort of a launch title for it), and the X360 and PS3 in my opinion... the graphics looked too "plastic" compared to the new gen and PC counterparts.
If i'm not mistaken, and acording my eyes. The swimming animation has been the same since AC2,every single game till Valhalla has the same one. Cool.

I don't care what anyone says, Watch_Dogs holds a special place in my heart and is still the best one out of the franchise as I really loved Aiden's characterization and story. The gameplay was definitely fun and the combat was awesome. The story was definitely dark but it definitely fit for a city like Chicago. Watch Dogs 2 story is fine but definitely not as good as the first but the gameplay and setting is hella awesome. I personally loved Legion since you could be any character and it takes place where I was raised so props to the developers for getting London correct as much as they could but the story was ok and the gameplay was fun but it could have been better if it was during 2018-2023 instead of 2029 and all futuristic

Only noticeable con in watch dogs 2 there is sound fx delay when shooting on car window glass, it's emersion breaking
Best story line is watch dogs 1, best game play is watch dogs 2 I was having fun with legions but about 14 hours in my game file deleted itself and put me back at the beginning and I raged and deleted the game. Legions definitely had the better clothing options though and the fly around on the drone was epic.
i'm currently on my first play through of watch dogs 1 and i'm enjoying it 7.5/10 so far. can't wait to play the rest

WD 1 is the best WD, more adult friendly, dark history, dark city, dark mafias, a game about vengeance, jusstice and criminal world.
WD2 and WD Legionss are more "comedy" and child-friendly
I think 1 was the best. Watch_Dogs was made to be a dark game, but people hated that too much. 2 was good, but I hated the stupid Tumblr culture stuff. I haven't tried Legion.

the only thing that bothered me is that in watch dogs 2 the camera was far away from the player and the car. And in WD1 it was close to the player and the car which made it more realistic and the world around you seemed even bigger. And I don't know why but in WD1 the cars look better than in WD2... in WD2 they look like toy cars

WD2 was awesome in terms of side content, you could feel like just an average dude in California having fun. My favority storyline will always be WD1, but I'm currently replaying WD2 and paying more attention to it, it is actually pretty good, Legion on the other hand, I always knew how it would turn out to be, loved Bloodline tho.

2 was a big improvement over what you can do in 1 and then Legion just nerfs your hacking abilities by limiting stuff to certain classes and having a small skill tree.

I cannot be the only one who finds legion to actually be a pretty good game with its combat and hacking abilities, only real complaint is the lack of ai people in cars which can get rid of some realism, such as stopping when getting in a crash or getting out and running after hearing shooting but either than that it looks great and plays great, especially with the bloodline dlc!
