The wife and I looked at a Corsair today. VERY impressive car that we may well end up with. Rides like a dream.
I traded my fully loaded 2013 MKX (now the Nautilus) which is the next size up, for the 2020 Corsair 2.0. I’m 6’3”. The room up front is plenty. The ride more comfortable. In Excite mode, far more sporty. More quiet. Fit and finish is awesome. Obviously less cargo space, but not bad. Overall, I am super impressed and very pleased. You definitely know you are in a luxury vehicle.
Keep w we s by nd u😊lol
Is Corsair reliable?
@@JIMMY-ck1oe 2 years in and no problems. I've owned Lincolns since '07 and never been disappointed. and service is excellent.
@@mightyjjk1298 Thans for your information
You know what. Everyone told me you should shoose lexus which is reliable. I already have 3 lexus suvs and am trying to find an enropean or USA reliable suv. I hope Corsair will not disppoint me
The best SUV in the market. Well done Lincoln. I really love the back
I test drove one yesterday with a friend and was surprised to find out I was driving the 2.0 version because of the power I felt it had. Very Very nice car.
Is it reliable? Problems of BMW and MB are really driving me creazy
Good to see an old school review
This is the best review I've heard so far and I've heard several. I Love the Corsair! My wife just bought the Nautilus but I want this one! I had the Ford Escape and it was the squeakiest vehicle I ever owned; never Ford again.
I thought you said you want the Fordsair.
Just picked mine up last week. So far extremely impressed with quality, ride, performance and aesthetics!
i might get one too. Which features did you pick? Thanks!
I am hoping in getting one in 1 1/2 years, hoping the gas mileage improve a bit.
What is your opinion on Android or iPhone bluetooth connection, is it stable? Are you satisfied with infotainment?
How has your ownership experience been 3 years later?
Congrats Lincoln! At last a worthy competitor to other top tier compact SUVs. Great styling and very good technology.
The 2.3 L. turbo should be a good seller.
One of my favorite things about the legendary Lincoln Navigator is the retractable step sides that are available!!
I love the Lincoln Corsair for a compact SUV and I think your video was very informative and extremely well done!!!
”You can fit a semi bald swedish man” should be the next industry standard boot space meusaring
semi?
Back to his roots of making cars reviews instead of making contrived and stale mods videos
the spoilers still on the back of the car 👌
Webster Kollie Finally!
Second that. Channel has degraded since all that Ferrariing....if not in the number of hits then surely quality- and entertainment wise.
And not to mention that noisy, pretty annoying new intro with that speakerkilling flash. :-( Shame, really loved Mike's channel when it was all about Fords and Trucks.
@@mournfulmaurice2009 reminds me of saabkyle04 he was flooping for a while until he went back to reviews
Someone had to say it. Couldn't agree more! Psh, unreal! Supposed he didn't mod the exhaust while he had it.
Why doesn’t anyone say that Lexus Is based on Toyota at the start of a review. Look at the Camry and Highlander vs Es and Rx.
I say it all the time
So true!
Because Toyota can do no wrong. Don't you know that? They're just hating. Love the new Lincoln's.
Jaguar is owned by Tata motors in India, Landrover looks like a Ford Explorer...because guess who owns it..Ford. Volvo is owned by the Chinese.
My Dodge Challenger has a Mercedes key Fob.
@@tgr.4550 _ Because you are a hater LOL!
Why doesn't anyone says Audi's, or Porsche's (Cayenne, Macan), Bentley's are VW's, as well?
Why doesn't anyone say that Nissan's are Renault's?
Why doesn't anyone says that Maserati's are Fiat/Chrysler? etc.
Love the video! I've been watching you for a long time now and I have to say you have really nailed down your car reviews over time! Love watching them and love that you do cars that arent typically shown on RUclips. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for reviewing it. I'm actually considering getting it, it's factory is located right here in Oakville Ontario.
Lincoln shoulda paid you big for making this. Better than most car commercials. Kudos, man...
I have my first LINCOLN a 2020 Corsair ! Flight blue with beyond blue int reserve. My wife and I love it! The luxury is spectacular!!!! My whole family wants to drive it. We traded in our ford, never going back LINCOLN OR NOTHING!!!!
I miss mercury. They were a nice stop gap between Ford and Lincoln. I loved my Mercury Milan. But I do understand brand over lap.
They need to bring it back.
Great review. You do a better job than Doug Demuro and other reviewers not just because of your style, but because you show and demonstrate the vehicle. It felt like a full experience watching your video. You should do more!
Lincoln has stepped up their game. Love the styling. Thanks
My parents might get one! This car is very pretty and it looks very amazing for a first car.
I’m Getting This Next Year That’s My Goal But I’m Getting The Used 2020 In The Artisan Blue With Gray Or Black Leather Seats And I’m Getting The Standard One With All The Features I’ll Maybe Look On Carfax or Cargurus For One. Maybe around 10,000 to 20,000 mileage. Gotta Work Hard To Get It I Can Do It In Jesus Name Claiming It! 🙏🏾🙌🏾👏🏾💯
This may be my next vehicle. 👍
This car will do all electric Ford will wait to see how well the Mustang MACH E fares and if it does well it will move over to Lincoln and I HOPE THE MKZ gets electrified with ranges to compete with the model S and Model 3 COME ON LINCOLN IF YOU'RE LISTENING WE WANT INSTANT TORQUE that an EV can provide. Most Lincoln owners don't care about MPG I know I don't that's why I opted for the HUGE 3.7L AWD V6. Thankfully the stability control in my MKZ zapped my power when I hit a corner to fast it holds the road so well for a sedan the car took control and I appreciate that feature for sure LOL
I am thinking of a used MKC instead of getting a Model Y, based off price. I just drove an MKC and it was very nice, but that instant EV torque is so awesome. The other features Lincoln and other cars have over Tesla are making me question everything.....
@@msbgone for $25,000 I was able to get an AWD 3.7L V6 with all LED lights inside and out. I test drive an Acura with most of the specs I wanted but that 9 speed transmission was terrible. I wanted a Tesla but didn't want a loan. The MKC depending on the specs. I love my adaptive LED headlights they turn as you turn the wheel. It's like the old days when Cadillac had cornering lights when the blinker was turned on but far better. I see all used MKC on Autotrader are 4 cylinder turbo's you should like the SUV if you're I looking for the most bang for your buck. Find one with low miles under 30k, certified used, if you're willing to go above and beyond standard maintenance the front transfer case on my MKZ requires it to be drained and filled every 30k miles it's cheaper than never doing it and replacing the PTU at a 1500 dollar price tag. The AWD system in the MCK might be difference than the MKC
@@mkzenthusiasts Thanks.
Great review! Back to the roots with reviews. Hope you can make more of these :).
73.3/4 - HP Per cylinder! Always look forward to your vid's, keep up the great work!
I love car reviews for the pleasure of imagining the reviewed vehicle aged and broken 10 years down the road. This one will be a beaut on cinder blocks at the local Pick 'N Pull one day.
I like your Ford/Lincoln reviews you should do them more often.
I found it sort of amazing that manufacturers are celebrating automatic high-beam headlights is some sort of innovative feature when automatic dimming headlights were available as early as 1956 on Cadillacs.
Because dimming them yourself is so hard.
I like these new car reviews. You need to do more of them!
I've had my corsair for a month. And it rides very smooth, the interior is fantastic, and the 2.0 point engine has plenty of power. period
Just ordered mine from South Hills. Can not wait to get it.
Watching this video again I'm happy to see Lincoln putting so many luxury touches in the Corsair.
My own 2019 MAZDA CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve has a lot of these touches like "adaptive" headlights that turn with the steering, heated seats and cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, mirrors and wipers, auto folding rear view mirrors, etc., etc.
So the compact SUV market, the largest of theSUV craze, is really heating up with many offering these luxury touches and full safety sensor suites. For $36,000. I think I have a real bargain with its 2.5 L. turbo and AWD. It is Quick!
Great looking SUV sharp and better looking than the Ford escape. Good review there Mike.
I love that you called the escape extremely ugly...#FACTS!
Saw one in person yesterday... Still ugly!!!
I don’t think the escape is ugly it just has to grow on you! The Corsair is an awesome looking car!
I just bought one today, OMG it's a 4 star hotel in the driver's seat.
One theme of episodes you could do is to review and critique the major annual award winners from like motor trend and what not.
Like to see you review the Kia Telluride as well
I was going to go Aviator with 494hp and 600lbft but not sure now, the Mach-E GT is coming.... we'll see. My wife has the MKC, she may go with the Corsair when it's time. Great review as always! The MKC with the 2.3 AWD runs into the mid 14's in the quarter mile so I imagine the Corsair should as well.
The shape of the Corsair is definitely more desirable than the Escape. Just not sure it is worth the price increase over the Escape. The Escape looks very generic and bland compared to Corsair and even the previous Escape. I hate the push button gear selector.
Nice to see you do reviews again. That was actually the thing that brought me to your channel originally.
There is no comparison between escape and corsair, this car is amazing I love the push gears
Not into that car but you must do more of these carpresentation vidéos. Real salesman 😉👍
So can you get LED lighting on the inside..? it is a Corsair after all!
Nice looking car. But, 14.8 MPG with a four-cylinder??
JackBN its a lot on idle
Finally Lincoln is doing away with their ridiculous MK names.
Now time for Cadillac, Mercedes, Audi, Volvo and the like to finally dump all theirs. Noticed you didn't call any of them out. Just sayin.
James Greg Cadillac, Audi, and Volvo nomenclatures and naming actually makes sense informing you of where the vehicle is amongst the lineup. As long as you can count from 1 to 10 you’ll understand where the vehicle resides pertaining to it’s smaller or larger siblings. If you’re unfamiliar with the brand, “MKC” from Lincoln doesn’t tell you much of anything. “GLE” from Mercedes-Benz doesn’t tell you much either. That’s the difference.
@@mybro727 @mybro727 The Mercedes acronyms make sense because they're based on their Sedan S, E, C, A-Class. The GLS=S-class GLE=E-class GLC=C-class etc... Audi and BMW have kinda the same thing going except with a number and a letter (Q5 or X3) referring to their Sedans.
@@jamesgreg5542 Good point. It is also good that they have reapplied one of the better Edsel names to this model.
@@640A That's bc these foreign brands are your focus. Lincoln brand MKC=COMPACT, MKS=SEDAN, MKT=TOURING and MKX=CROSSOVER. Not sure, but does the "X" in BMW and the "Q" in Audi really stand for their sedans as you've noted? Now, that IS confusing!
I'll take one. Thank you very much! Oh, and consider me subscribed. Good job!
Back in “60” in the UK ,ford had a model out called the “corsair” 🤔
A great car The Uk Corsair as well I remember it 😀👍
Affectionately know as the rude rabbit.
I'm 50 so u guys most be really old..lol
Why don't Ford bring the Lincoln brand to the UK? The new Ford family design is another Edsel.
Nice review reminds me of early days of topgear
Thank you for a thorough and informative review.
Great review, amazing how much better looking Corsair is than that ugly hatchback Escape.
Good review. I would have liked you to spend more time on the stocks on the steering wheel column. I've had my 2020 Corsair for two-and-a-half years. We live in the desert so only get rain during monsoon season and then only two or three days of that. My point is, I still don't know how to quickly operate the front windshield wipers, the front windshield washer and the same with their back what windshield wiper. My Reserve lacks the package with front sensors and ventilated seats, something I really could use here in the Mojave.
Hi Mike another great video very informative and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family 😀😀👍👍
MAYBE MY NEXT PURCHASE
Oh Lincoln has turned it around for sure! They are making some amazing cars! The interiors are so opulent and comfortable!
Going Ol SKOOL on this video!!! Back to ur Roots in the vlog! That’s 1st Class mike! Showing that u haven’t forgotten where u came from!!!
Great intro music Mike to this video 😀👍
Need to upload more videos
Get that Lincoln money!
Wish that the Corsair had placed the rear wiper under the spoiler like the Aviator. I love the Aviator but not sure I need the extra 5" of length and no need for the 7 passenger capability. Love how the Aviator back seat folds totally flat whereas my MKX does not. Unfortunately, no info on how the 2021 Nautilus will look. I prefer that size but likely the price will not be a lot different from the Aviator. Also, unfortunately, in Canada, where the vehicle is produced there is no Black Label available. Some things that come with the top package like towing is of no interest but comes with the package and the other things can't be ordered separately. No complaints at all with my 2011 MKX Limited.
Hi Mike, interesting video.... I wonder, for a next car review, maybe you could make a video about the new Mercedes Benz GLS?
That would be interesting to hear what your thoughts are about that Mercedes model?
Keep up the good work!👍🏻🎥
I missed your car reviews. So much blogging with your own vehicles.
It looks good, going to test drive one
More like this...
Maybe your niche could be car reviews for the average guy. Meaning instead of RS6 Avants and Cullinans, you could do cars that most people can actually afford?
Hey Mike! Could you please review new BMW SAV's and sedans!
This guy sounds like Holmes on Homes which is a compliment.
I’m considering the 2020-22 Corsair Reserve (or the Standard trim with many of the same features as a Reserve) a 2019-2022 Nautilus Reserve or Black Label
Awesome video Mike!
Beautiful vehicle, wonder what they will do for the 2021 model? Update the infotainment feature? I personally would like to see the body contours crisped up a bit - less rounded - more along the lines of the Audi Q3 with the big shoulders. Also it would be nice to remove the chrome edge features on the dashboard controls like the bezel on the infotainment screen. I see sun glint issues with that. Same with the overly shiny plastics used in the dashboard. If it was softened to a more matte look, it would give more of an upscale look, plus reduce reflection/glare issues.
I would definitely choose this over the Q3 based on the value for the $ - and I find it funny when these vehicles are referred to as tiny. They have lots of elbow room, especially compared to my old Jetta, and my current Mazda3 Sport.
Definitely a better looking compact SUV then the Escape. What were they thinking with the styling on the Escape? The seats look very inviting. Would prefer more technical info on the engine and transmission.
AutoVlog great review I think the all Lincoln Corsair is an absolutely elegant vehicle that looks absolutely gorgeous Inside and out Happy Early Thanksgiving to you and your Family and All of your Subscribers
Can it possibly be better than the Ford Fusion Platinum you reviewed and I bought? 30 months in, and an absolutely incredible car with no problems. Park assist gets me inches from the curve every time. All that technology, and no problems.
I repeat, can it possibly be better than the Ford Fusion Platinum? Give me a reason to trade mine in?
Today I learned you can fit a body with ease in the new Corsair..
petition to make 'swedish man' the official volume unit.
Was this sponsored?
Does it matter? The Corsair is to small I don't do 4 bangers. The only SUV I like today is the Aviator but everytime I build one it's 80k way out of my price range. Maybe in 4 to 5 years it eill drop enough to where it's in my price range. My 2016 MKZ AWD 3.7L V6 CPO with 28k miles ON it I was able to pay cash and that what I HOPE to do with the Aviator in a few years.
I don’t think he was paid for the review. Autovlog used to work with Ford/Lincoln in the past if I’m not mistaken. This video seems like many other auto reviews in the sense that he was prob given the vehicle for a couple hours to try/review but no compensation was provided. Just my opinion.
It's sponsored indirectly. If he says something they don't like then they will not give him any more vehicles to review. "Reviews" where youtubers get vehicles from a dealer are worthless. You can say that I'm wrong or whatever but Ford wants to actually sell this trash so~.
Shadow_Dog how is this car Trash. I drove it for a weekend so I’d like your personal feedback on it.
@@modlerjeancharles3287 what you mean? its a generic small jeep
Very beautiful design inside and outside
Thx for the review. If you had to choose between this and the Mercedes GLC, which do you think you'd go for and why?
A Lexus is JUST a Toyota but car reviewers can’t say that, those pay dumps that the Japanese manufacturers pay these guys are just too much money for them to say that.
Beautiful weather...
A beautiful SUV -- love it.
Auto stop start feature ! Do you have have to turn it off each time u get in the car .only only once
Lincoln business is booming
Awesome review man, thanks!
Corsair looks good cause they made the escape so ugly, but come on 60 for a loaded up lipsticked escape?
Have had the Corsair Reserve for 6 weeks. Beautiful outside and in. Transmission sucks at low speed jerks into gear. When slowing it bumps bumps to slow. Voice button on wheel gets hit most times turning the corner. Also hate the start/stop 2step. The mkc called it "Eco" but at least it was only one hit. The homelink won't program. driver's window has wind noise. Door handle doesn't beep when locked or unlock. Different settings of normal, excite etc show no differrnce and change back to normal every time you turn off car. Will try to get some of these things fixed. Seat settings on door gets hit everytime I reach for door handle. Inside circulation button sometimes stays on sometimes not. Wish I had my MKC back.
From what you said, It seems FORD ECOBOOST engine has no problems. Am I right?
Can you review the jacket?
EL_JEEPO Hefty trash bag edition.
I have been wondering why Lincoln isn't offering this model in the black label collection ... I know they just announced the Grand Touring Edition ... so perhaps in the future they will offer it
This competes more with the GLB than the GLC bc of size & given the fact that the GLB is FWD or AWD like the Corsair & the GLC is RWD or AWD
I never noticed your swetish accent until you said you're a semi bald swedish man
Never drink Monster after 4pm in the evening. 2:23 am
Great review, thanks.
My Dad has the newer Lincoln Continental, think his is only 8 way driver seat. Probably the most uncomfortable driver seat I have ever used. Hates the GPS also, otherwise he likes it..haha
It would be nice to know the price of the this Reserve model.
Mid 50's for the one he tested.
It's just a cheaper, smaller, scaled down version of a Navigator., but it's a nice suv.
Good video. How’s the seating for short people? My wife is only 5 feet tall.
Ya know, I've always been a Lincoln fan. But let's admit: up until recently, their products have been rather mediocre. What an incredible relief it is to see them finally offering vehicles that can stand up to ANYONE. Bravo, Lincoln!
And to think that Ford once considered killing off Lincoln. So glad they didn't.
I actually wanted to buy one but not ready for buying gas every week so I chose the rav4 hybrid
corsair great plane happy thanksgiving to you and family
Looks good but I do see lot of similarity between my BMW F10 and this. The door handle, back arm rest, the front console. The seat switch looks like Mercedes.
Back tail looks like it is from porsche panamera.
What do you think as I am only looking at the video from my phone
Is it a quiet automobile? How was road noise? Did the driving modes dampen the bumps?
I still wonder why Lincoln doesn't put in the HP EcoBoost from the Mustang in this. 310 HP, 350 ft/lbs.
6:55 Like most other Uber drivers, I use those for vomit bags.
those gauges remind me of land rover
Hey Dracula nice jacket....vs Pennywise........ Heya Joki you wanna rap
LOL
