  • In this video, I review the 2023 Lincoln Corsair Standard. This car surprised me with all the features that came standard on it. There are so many standard safety features, it's great.

    Appreciate a review of a base model. Most reviews are on fully loaded Corsairs with MSRPs around $60k. Good thorough review. We are owners of 4 MKCS/Corsair GTs.

    Bought this car 1 week ago in the standard II package with the panoramic roof and I love love love it! I’ve always been a Cadillac girl so this is my first Lincoln. I love how you get so many options standard on a Lincoln. You’re review is great and spot on!😊

    • @_KALLIE_

      The Lincoln rides about the same as the Cadillac did but much less Road noise inside. The Lincoln also came with more safety features that are extra on the Cadillac. The Cadillac does have a better warranty and free oil changes for 5 years, I’ll miss that for sure. @@703Speed

    The neighbors gave me ride to doc's office and back in thier new Toyota I noticed as we went thru tunnel the screens changed colors in the tunnel .does that occur in all new cars now? Do screens change color driving at night? Thanks. Peace bro.

      Hmm did it change color, or did the brightness change? I could see it changing brightness/color to account for the amount of light outside

    The exterior look is great. I hope they give it the look inside that the 24 Nautilus will have. They've had that same look for years on the Corsair and Aviator and it's starting to look outdated.

    Mounting the lic bracket and the state plate in the middle of the grill takes away from the looks. the 2022 had it mounted below the grill.

    Id rather have the standard trim. Not much difference from Reserve.
    Only big negative of the Standard teim vs Reserve are the headlights.
    The Standard teim headlights are LED and disappointing and have NHTSB rating of poor.
    The Reserve has adaptive LED headlights that bend and curve as you turn. They carry amuch better good/acceptable rating from NHTSB.
    Its a big difference driving at night.

    I prefer V-6 cylinder engines because they are much more reliable and longer lasting engines than a EcoBoost I4 cylinder engine because when you use a forced ram turbocharger aspiration engine versus a V-6 cylinder that is naturally aspirated forced ram turbocharged I4 cylinder engines are not going to last as long as a naturally aspirated V-6 cylinder engines. 🙂

    • @703Speed
      @703Speed  10 месяцев назад +3

      Idk, these Ecoboosts are pretty solid little engines

    • @frederickwoodard9551
      @frederickwoodard9551 10 месяцев назад

      @@703Speed I prefer either V-6 or V-8 engines though they use more gas than I4 EcoBoost but, they are more durable than I4 EcoBoost because of the turbocharger you are asking a I4-cylinder engine to do more work than it is capable of doing and it is putting more wear and tear on the engine. I rather have a 1.6L I4-cylinder VTEC Honda Civic (non) turbocharged with only a cold air intake because it doesn’t have a forced Ram turbocharged boost engine or even a 2.0L I4-cylinder (non) turbo boost engine. It will last longer than those turbocharged engines. I don’t like the new vehicles of today that have GDI engines I prefer engines like mine that still have multipoint fuel injection (MFI)/port fuel injection (PFI) engines that still have injectors in the intake manifold. I have a 09 Honda Pilot with more than 108,000-miles I am just now noticing how filthy the tailpipe is. 🙂

      I am not a big fan of Apple/Android car play I am an old school guy I consider those things contributing to distracting driving. I am okay with Bluetooth enabled vehicles in case you get a call will driving. I don’t like push button remote start and I am not a big fan of turbocharged 4-cylinder engines I prefer naturally aspirated V-6 cylinder engines. They last longer than souped up inline-4 (I4) cylinder engines. Yeah, they use more gasoline but, their engines need thicker grade of engine oil than what the dealership will tell you to protect turbo bearings from burning up. Recommend 1 to 2 quarts of either 5W-30 or 5W-40 Euro Oil and a mixture of Lucas Oil Pure Synthetic Oil Stabilizer/Lucas Oil Heavy Duty Stabilizer. I also don’t like touchscreen infotainment system to control climate control systems that promotes more distracting driving. 🙂

      @@markkrajnik Hi Mark, Thank you first of all for taking the time to answer me back. I went to look at the Corsair today even thought the dealership was closed. Even sat inside a few that were unlocked. When I got home I read on the computer the Corsair takes premium gas so that ruled out the Lincoln for me. I went to look at the Lexus and the SUV's also take premium gas. So I looked at the Lexus sedan and I worked out a deal but told them I would sleep on it tonight. The Corsair was good looking inside and out and was hoping to stay with an SUV but the car was a beauty and a great quiet ride.

    Uh Oh. DON’T Mention OWNING A HONDA when you are PROMOTING A LINCOLN… I would NEVER CONSIDER Owning AN IMPORT VEHICLE. NO MATTER WHAT!!
    2.0 Yes that is an ECOBOOST! I noticed the Hands off the Steering wheel It does not have The Ford Equivalent of Blue Cruise but it does have the Lane Holding Function. Which I will be getting when My 24 Escape is Available for Delivery! One thing you left off in the test Drive is the Speed Recognition Feature usage and How to set the Variable Margins!
