Lincoln has been on a roll these past few years
agreed, The current gen MKZ was the start but they really seemed to hit their stride with the Navigator. Lincoln is over taking Cadillac with style, Products and on the road.

As a proud Lincoln owner, i can honestly say i am finally ready to trade my white 15 MKc for this. Awesome review. The best feature I absolutely LOVE is the symphonic chimes. The way this one is is exactly as i want it. All white on the outside and the Beyond Blue interior. Keep the good work up 👏🏻

You did a great review I just drove today a brand spanking new Lincoln Nautilus and I loved it. I had made an appointment at the local Ford dealership, Parkway Ford here in Winston-Salem near where I live in Clemmons North Carolina. I had requested both the job of a nautilus as well as a Corsair. However, since I've been home after the drive today I've been reading different reviews of the Corsair and I believe it was Motor Trend that said that they Corsair is like a leather-lined rally car! You also said in your video that I just watched the above one that it handles really well it never occurred to me to see if the Nautilus handled at all more or less well. Tomorrow I will call the salesman and request to drive the Corsair after the New Years. Thank you for this very helpful review! Keep doing what you're doing, because you're good at it! Very Nice! Taillight design looks like Porsche, clamshell hatch looks like Audi. It looks very luxurious and premium! Lincoln is making a solid comeback! I would love to see a sport coupe!

Mazda sets the standard for driver enthusiasts, but this is really not far behind as a driver's car with the multilink rear, and it has more luxury.

Thanks for the great review! I'm in the market for this beauty after a stint with performance cars. The price is just right and it checks all the boxes. Appreciate you all focusing on what this car is and who it's for rather than what it's not and who it isn't for. Even in 2020, there's something to be said about a quiet, comfortable, luxurious ride.

Greetings from Southern NJ! Thank you for posting this. Very informative. I'm very fond of the MKC, but this takes it to the next level. Beyond Blue is beautiful. Love the warning chimes as well. My Focus has cool ambient lighting, as well, but not as bold as this. 😀 I worked at a Lincoln Mercury dealership back in the 90's in the car rental department. At that time the new generation Continental came out. That was awesome and the first generation Navigator appeared. Now you are enjoying a new renaissance at Lincoln. Looking forward to other videos. Only disappointment is that there isn't a CD player in there somewhere. I thought the Continental and Navigator had one in the dash or center console. Thanks again.
Thanks man! And it doesn’t have a CD player. You can always have someone download the cds onto a flash drive for you and play your music that way!

Same comment as others. In 2017, wanted the Lincoln MKZ. Dealer inconvenient near airport. Bought a Fusion Platinum with a dealer 4 miles away. That said, love the Platinum with AWD and Park Assist. Trouble free.

I still LOVE the Corsair especially with the beautiful Reserve Appearance package. I'm cross-shopping a 2019 onwards Nautilus Reserve & Black Label with the 2020 Corsair with ventilated front seats since I live in South FL & it's constantly hot here. Even window tints & a windshield blocker might not be enough to combat the heat & humidity. I'm a single 25 y.o. guy that wants one of these models because I think they're beautiful inside & out & they have a lot of the features I want for less $ than other brands. They're a great value used compared to similar compact to midsize CUVs/ SUVs from other brands
is this REALLY that quiet inside or is your camera really good with noise cancellation? i mean when you're speaking while driving your voice is still crisp and there isn't much background noise. I'd have to try one myself but i have to wait until it arrives to my country.

You pointed out the cool "sun-burst" effect in the rear brake lights. I'm curious now about the rear turn signal lights. Do the rear turn signal lights on the Corsair illuminate in red or amber color? I'm hoping they're amber. Thanks in advance for letting us know.

Great review, beautiful car, love it... my only concern is that a luxury car depends on a high end and convenient dealer network, Lincoln does not generally have that. I live in Sacramento, a city of over 500,000 and there is no Lincoln dealer, I would have to drive 20 miles to a distant suburb for service. Most dealers are also combined Ford/Lincoln and Ford dealers are not known for their luxury service.
I here you on that. In my area there are 5 Lincoln dealers in my area. Keep in mind Lincoln will pick up your car for service up to 20 miles.
This I think is my dream car although I like the Nautilus a lot, they need to get the interior upgraded to look like the Corsair, if not then the Corsair would win hands down. I'm sorry you have to wait till your lease is up on your MKC but before you know it you'll be driving a Corsair just like you mentioned. I'm a new subscriber and looking forward to more Lincoln videos as I work towards accomplishing my dream to own one of these. You knocked it out the park with this review!

I was really interested in this when they announced it but it ended up being way overpriced. For their smallest of 4 SUV models, Lincoln should've priced this in the mid $40's with competitive options like the LCD instrument panel, HUD, 360 camera, etc. Not $60k. Such a shame.
That's what the natualis is for. Plus this pricing is still pretty competitive compared to a Benz or Caddy
I expect most people will buy these equipped around 48k-50k
@@alextran8188 you've got them mixed up. The Nautilus is a step up from this. Corsair is their entry level crossover/SUV. Compared to Cadillac xt4 or the Infiniti this is overpriced by about $10k.
@@theMLBfan $60k for a fully equipped Corsair is actually competitive price-wise and equipment-wise with most other luxury brand offerings, and that's actually a few thousand dollars less than a loaded Merc GLC, Audi Q3, or Alfa Romeo Stelvio . The starting MSRP for this is roughly $35k, which is less than most of its competition also (unless compared to the smaller and much less powerful Infiniti QX30 that you mentioned, but it's spot on with the Cadillac XT4, although the Corsair "tops out" around $10k higher, but also offers a bit more content and performance than both). Not sure how you came to the determination that the Corsair is over-priced unless you were comparing it only to the Infiniti or Cadillac, but it definitely isn't over-priced compared to the majority of other entry level crossovers in its segment.
@@theMLBfan The base XT4 is priced about the same as the base Corsair, however, the Corsair offers a lot more features for the price. You'd have to spend thousands more on the XT4 to get what comes standard of the Corsair. We are sitting on the fence on these vehicles. I like the XT4 exterior and the wife likes the Corsair overall.

I can’t afford that 50k for a new one but I hope to get one returned after a lease or something. I would normally go for a BMW but this thing has a different presence. Exterior is not particularly more beautiful than a BMW but it’s nice. The interior is where I’m really digging it. BMW is luxurious but sporty. This thing is luxurious but elegant and I’m really digging the elegance. It makes you feel like you’re driving to the opera and you say things like “hello good sir”. I would normally go fir chocolate leather but my hood that blue interior next to the piano black and little chrome accents is classy.

Hey Russ, can you do some research about a rumored all electric Lincoln SUV and share w/ us what you know? Trying to figure out if I should wait and not pull the trigger on the PHEV Corsair when its released.
Paul Ferguson the hybrid Corsair will have a 25 mile range and will be paired with a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder expected to make a combined 266 horsepower.
This is all I know at this point in time

Always been a fan of Lincoln and been waiting for them to really do better and there new suv line up has really changed the game. The new navigator has really made the Escalade look old and out dated

Nice job presenting the vehicle, Russ. I notice you didn't mention the stupid panoramic roof (which says a lot about the roof). I refuse to purchase any Ford vehicle w/ this option, which apparently rules out the Reserve model? I suggest you recommend to Lincoln they add a panoramic roof delete option as otherwise I'm only interested in the Standard model and not the more expensive Reserve model. And then, IMO, Lincoln should offer a traditional sunroof like in my 2010 Mercury Mariner which I'm still driving. And what about trailer towing? Is there a tow package including a factory mounted receiver? It's not much of a utility vehicle w/o a towing package and receiver.
Shiloh II you can add a hitch as an option. Also I’d recommend buying the top of the line base model. There 2 packages you can add. The convenience and elements package which give you a high level of equipment. Then you can have someone install a sunroof with a warranty on it for maybe 1200 dollars. We do it to some of our base models and people love it.

I have a 2020 Lincoln Corsair Reserve. After purchasing, I realized my sunroof...they've calling it the moonroof in the manual. My moonroof doesn't open all the way back although it is panoramic.
I'm not sure if there is a problem, I just decided to use it..I will ask next time I'm in for service...After seeing your video and you work for Lincoln..
I thought I'd ask you..Are they suppose to open completely..My husband has a 2009 MKZ , his roof opens completely.
Can you tell me if my moonroof suppose to open only halfway in the front and not at all in the back??
The shade cover opens the entire panoramic view..

The design elements of Lincoln have finally reached what they needed to be for a modern vehicles with a very refined look. The only thing I don't like is that on the air handling system the bright blue and the bright red so heating and cooling; it is too bright and too saturated. It looks un-refined with the bright neon lighting on the lower dash. 'Red' for heat and 'blue' for cold can be taken TOO far.

I just leased a 2019 Edge Titanium for 3 years, with every available option.
So far, I have a whooooooole 800 miles on it, lol.
I certainly will be looking at the Ford Explorer and the Lincoln Aviator for my next lease (for a larger vehicle).
So far I love the Edge.
The Adaptive Cruise Control, The Lane Keeper, The Corss-Traffic Alert, and The Blind-Spot Warning in the side mirrors are awesome.
They are now a must for me in any future vehicle.
I haven't had a need to use the Parking Assist so far.
Opening and closing the gate with a simple wave of the foot is a very convenient feature.
I love the B&O sound system.
On a 550 miles road trip yesterday, on Michigan's narrow country roads (north Michigan), I think the lane keeper corrected me, or vibrated the steering wheel for me at least 20 to 30 times.
Loved it. Kept me in place!!!
The adaptive cruise control is just set it and forget it.
It'll speed up, slow down, stop, take off, ...etc., based on the set distance from the vehicle in front of you.
It works quite well. Good job, Ford!!!

We had a technician (a mechanic) at an engineering department of one of the automotive companies who always said it like that (Jagwire).
Not to cause him any embarrassment, none of us engineers ever tried to correct him, but we'd laugh at that quietly after meetings.

I have really enjoyed the Lincoln vehicles that I have driven over the years. My personal pet peeve is that they rape you when it comes to options. (Of course, so does Cadillac, and the German brands) Consequently, I buy them used.

You're not pointing at the rims, you're pointing at the spokes. Why do so many young people call *wheels* "rims"? The rims are only part of a wheel; you also have spokes and hubs on most wheels. Have you ever seen an ad for "rim covers"? Of course not; they're *wheel* covers...sometimes erroneously called "hub caps," but never "rim caps."

Hmmm... VERY interesting. I have a 2019 MAZDA CX 5, 2.5 turbo, AWD, which has about 90% of the Corsair's luxury features including Voice Command, folding side mirrors, rear cross traffic alert, adaptive headlights, cooled front seats, etc. etc.
->That said if this Corsair handled well, say as well as the CX 5's G-Force plus, I would prefer it over all the other luxury compact SUVs, European or Japanese. My MAZDA has spoiled me for premium compact SUVs and the Corsair would spoil me even more, especially that 2.3 L. twin turbo.
Eric B. I tell people you can get a lot of features in any car. It’s about ride quality and interior quiteness. Also the Corsair has an avaiable lane centering system that basically drives the car for you on the highway .
Well the MAZDA CX 5 has lane centering, good ride, great handling (see the RUclips reviews) and steering feel. Plus its body design can stand with any luxury SUV. All this for $34, 050. for my GT Reserve and $38,300. for the Signature. No, it's not a Corsair top model but I'd easily compare it to the equivalent priced entry level Corsair.
Eric B. I could see where you’re coming from. The nice meat thing about the Corsair is interior quality and owner privledges like pick up and delivery(we pick your car up for service for free) and the app where you can start your car!
As a luxury SUV Lincoln needs to pamper its customers for that all-important repeat business. SOMEDAY smart people will realize just how much better a Corsair is than, for example, a Land Rover or Jaguar F-Pace. Lincoln just needs to stick to continually adding value to their SUVs. With the new line they have got a great running start.
Eric I test drove the CX5 Signature and Corsair Reserve I 2.0 turbo back to back. Corsair has more plush ride, quieter and better more comfortable seat. CX5 Signature is great value and has more sporty stiffer ride.

The Shield the major differance between Lincoln and a lot of other brands and ride quality, quality of materials, craftsmen ship, and how we treat you after you buy the car.
