I don't think that's a retcon about Lucas. Specially after the Chris DLC. It's just a father who loves his son and don't like to think about him as the psychopath that he is.
It wasn't a retcon, it was just Jack's opinion. Parents always have a rosier view of their offspring. Nobody in the family was really able to come to grips with how disturbed Lucas was.
Chill Bro we’re talking about before the infection, Lucas was kinda crazy already before the infection, I assume the bakers were just in denial over how crazy he really was.
George I love ya but what’s not to get with the Lucas line in the goo zone? Jack isn’t going to look sympathetic by saying “Me and marguerite ain’t killers but our boy is” - heck you can see Zoey pushing his hand out of the way and wandering off cause she knows Jack is bullshiting and lying to himself about Lucas in the goo zone. It’s a consistent bit of writing.
Not to mention, in the DLC, it goes into how he basically sold out his family to get a pseudo-antidote so he could be infected but not controlled, and keep an eye on his family/Eveline and send the information to The Connections. So it's not really retconned at all, I think Jack just doesn't want to think his boy is such an awful person, even though Zoey knows better.
The other part that none of you notice - is the line "not even Zoe here". Then she pushes his hand away, gets up and wanders off angrily. The entire time, he's played favorites with his children. He turns a blind eye to Lucas, and what he's done. He also blames Zoe for some of those things needlessly.
George, doesn't respond to comments, he gets off from ignoring his fans. You shouldn't tempt him with good points.(I've only seen him comment like once or twice)
Saint_Somnia meanwhile Zoey does know somethings wrong with Lucas. He used to watch her in the shower according to some of the little extra facts you can find in the DLCs if I remember correctly. Although what is total bullshit is the fact that they expect us to believe Lucas got away with literal murder by simply locking someone in the attic of his house which was presently occupied by 3 other people who would hear a cry for help and this was long before "grandma" showed up. There's even still a lot of evidence up there and Lucas wrote down his confession in a place where it wasn't hard to find.
I'm pretty sure that isn't a retcon about Lucas, it's Jack and the rest of his family not knowing what he is, or maybe more accurately just not wanting to think the worst of him.
I'm surprised you have no words for the End of Zoe DLC. Punching swamp zombies and making bombs out of sticks and a bag of "chems" was something of a masterpiece in my opinion
The "Chems" is the Chem Fluid item from RE7 which is used in a variety of items in the game, in the case of End of Zoe DLC you mix Chem Fluid with a Tree Branch to make a Stake Bomb but the Chem Fluid can also be mixed with random critters you find along the way to make medicine capable of reattaching limbs in less than a minute. Plus you find Chem Fluid and branches inside boxes on a swamp. But I appreciate the explanation, at least I learned something
RoyalRainboo it actually makes sense in this context. Remember, by the time Ethan gets to Mia, he’s already infected. The chemicals stimulate the growth of the spores throughout his body, which allows his body parts to reattach
Honestly, I just think the rest of the Bakers have a hard time believing Lucas is an insane killer. Somehow, Jack doesn't know it. But it's obvious to us that Lucas is a psycho compared to the others.
Not only that but as a parent you don't want to face the reality of someone you gave birth to becoming something so abhorrent in spite of your best efforts. Speaking from witnessing that same thing happen.
"A mashup of Japanese writers writing both what they do and do not intimately understand." That line gave me flashbacks to listening to one of Sigint's radio calls in MGS3 that briefly touches on racism in America during the period the game is set in. I had a moment where I was fully cognizant of the fact I was listening to a conversation about American race relations translated by a Japanese writer's understanding of the topic and then translated _back_ to an American audience via the adaptational scriptwriters and actors and boy, was that a surreal feeling.
All the plot points you didn't get about the Grandma and the morgue/molded are explained in the game George. They explain that Evelyn was experimented on and those experiments made her age rapidly. So 4 years was more like 70 for her. But she's also able to project hallucinations. Which is why Mia's freaking out when she gains sanity for a moment saying "She's in my head". Evelyn projects herself as a little girl. Technically, age-wise, she still is even if rapid aging makes her much older. The bodies in the morgue are the people that they tried to make like the Bakers. Not everybody turns into psycho mutant people is the point. Lucas was working with Umbrella or some other corrupt organization to get Evelyn to the Baker estate and report the stuff she was doing. The whole E-series thing is that Evelyn is the E-Series that you learn about. I think they flat out explain that in the cave area where you get the serum to destroy her.
And the Lucas always was psycho. He killed his friend at his Birthday party. The rest of the Bakers were chill though. And Evelyn showing up in the VHS tapes could also be another hallucination that's affecting Ethan while he's watching the tapes.
While your feelings are valid about how the game dramatically shifts (like every other RE game) it's a design choice throughout the series, serving as a catharsis for overcoming all of the horror and allowing you to become an unstoppable badass in the final moments.
God I love this game, I think the marriage of slow atmosperic horror at the beginning into urgent twitchy gunplay was perfect for the 7th entry of a series thats either went one way or the other.
Actually, nevermind where George resides. The game takes place in Louisiana (USA), which makes "judgment" not only not cute, but in fact the only correct spelling for the setting.
Michał Gorgoń I was pretty sure it's more commonly spelled 'judgment' outside of the U.S. as well so I looked it up. Great video! It's frustrating that industrial levels are often so poorly done, because there's great potential. I've always been fascinated by abandoned factories and Industrial complexes, and I can say from my own personal experience of having worked in multiple factories that there's no reason they couldn't make for an incredibly effective game setting. The only game in recent memory that really GOT how to make that sort of setting work was Dishonored.
Not to beat a dead horse, but as a lawyer myself, "Judgment" is the predominant spelling of the word. If I had a dollar for every time I've had to write the words "Summary Judgment" I could retire.
@@howielowis458 I think "judgement" is becoming an accepted way of spelling it informally. It's sort of like saying "a myriad" when technically it's just "myriad". No one cares too much about it even though it's not technically correct. But, a judge's clerk will likely take you to task if you spell "judgment" wrong in a formal pleading.
A father denying that his son is bad isn't a retcon by any means. It's characterization for Jack--he's in denial that his son is a bad person. This happens a lot in real life, too.
They're called parishes because Louisiana was French before it became part of America, and they were Roman Catholic. It's also why most states set out in squares, but Louisiana has slivers of land that give as many as possible land owners with access to rivers. Most states used the township system under the PLSS, but LA used arpents because the land was allocated by the French before it was purchased by the US.
In regards to the laundry and as someone from the South, we tend to hang stuff out to dry after an initial dry depending on what it is and how fast we need it to dry.
We don't hang it outside unless it nice out. We use indoor hangers and make sure it's well vented. (Also for reference, I live in Alabama with family in Louisiana.)
Huh, I was about to post a detailed comment on how I disliked this video despite loving all your others. Nevermind though since that's already been taken care of by plenty others.
It is just me or this video is kind of mess? Almost all things George points out are answered in the memos, Lucas was experimenting on people, the DLC is about that (I know he didn't play it). Plus anyone who has contact with the spores can see visions the girl wants them to see, etc.
Holy shit, this entire comment section is just ripping into the video And that's ok I guess, people are making some valid points. Idk, it's interesting to see that loads of his points are just... Incorrect They're all mistakes that could've been fixed with some googling, but to be fair maybe that's the point? I don't think George would've wanted to look stuff up for this video. I guess I can appreciate him staying true to his genuine thoughts by not doing any research? Idk. I guess the point is that he just didn't take this video too seriously, and the quality of it suffers because of that, but that's ok because it's a video meant for his straight-up thoughts.. but maybe it would've been good to make that more obvious
this is honestly the first video of SBH that i kind of disliked? I know opinions is opinions but a lot of this felt very poorly thought out and constructed
I get the feeling he spent a lot of time sitting there trying to put together his thoughts and gave up trying to organize them. I feel you, bunnydumps.
The video is called "Literally my thoughts on Resident Evil 7". I don't know what to tell you if you expected an hour long Critial Close-Up or something.
I wasn't. I think his shorter videos are high quality too and this one just felt kind of slapadash, and I love his videos on resident evil so it was kind of disappointing to see him not take a good look at this one.
Thank you for your very own ongoing insight, encouragement and consequently tuition to hold up my voyage to becoming more consciously responsive coupled with spiritually connected.
No No No, old granny viewing herself as a young girl and projecting paranoia to those around while also finding ways to control them while demonstrating only a cursory understanding of 'family', is not entirely fictional. George hasn't truly entered the survival horror.
WorldFungusChamp that's what makes it a snow shovel. People were using metal snow shovels for a long time before the more modern ones made of plastic were created.
Pleasant Leech Sure, but that style of shovel mainly used for digging dirt as well. If the Baker family is living on a ranch where they're raising cattle and horses then I imagine they'd need to be shoveling dirt or cattle feed every once in a while.
It's the "Move loose materials" shovel for sure, useful for getting more bits off of squared walls or containers. A spade would be kinda crap for that. You wouldn't use the squared shovel for DIGGING whatever the case is.
Yeah, a couple of his jokes on this video sort of missed their mark. The spelling of "judgment", and assuming that was a show shovel. But, the video was still good though.
Great video. I felt the same way. So much wacky, yet so much RE gold. I wish we could have had the chance to see Silent Hills become fully realized, but this was a welcome and inspired change from Capcom!
i love your videos george, but this one was just bad. you question stuff explained in the game, judgment is spelled fine, and whats with the weird attitude towards camp? of course re7 was gonna be campy as heck, that's what resident evil has been good at since the beginning. this video just felt condescending, like you were reaching for things to criticize. some of it was funny, yeah, but this was kind of disappointing.
+Just Bony Half the video is misinformed, either about the game or the English language. (American English in the "judgment" case, but still English.) It's fine for him to have misinformed thoughts, but it makes it an awful video, especially when he is criticizing the things he's misinformed on.
"they weren't worth making a video about" call me crazy, but i think Mr. Weidmon is the owner of this channel and he can do what he want with it, also, if he did this video, maybe was because is because he tought it was worth it? maybe, i dont know i can be wrong tho
I didn't realise it was written by the same person as F.E.A.R., but in retrospect that makes a lot of sense what with the similarities between Alma and Eveline.
You say that you don't see there being high-level play, but RE7 was already in AGDQ this year. That run was on Madhouse difficulty and the guy aced it. I never thought about those inconsistencies, though.
Side note: I think the combat in this game could NOT have been implemented better. Getting stun locked by the boomers in the final regular enemy encounter on madhouse difficulty was the only real time I found myself getting old-school mad at a game these last two generations, but the run n' gun encounter just before that and the long range shooting before the mine descent were some of the most fun instances of game mastery I've had since destroying the Watchdog of the Old Lords chalice boss in Bloodborne. And calling it a "beautiful mess" is criminal under-evaluation of this game's level of refinement and quality. Every segment of this game, aside from maybe the final boss battle, was expertly paced with fun moment to moment gameplay.
12:37 I remember a friend telling me that in that case MAYBE she is not in the VHS but she is still on your mind, so because you are focus on the tape and not your surroundings she keeps trying to appear in front of you, resulting in she being inside of the tape doing whatever... I would guess is similar to when we try to remember an old movie/show and we thought an actor was in one scene or some dialog was different.
I still chuckle whenever I see a chainsaw used as a weapon in a game. They're hard enough to keep working on trees, which usually don't even fight back. God help you if you try to refuel it from that old gasoline can you found, not to mention without any engine oil mix.
Holy crap, I never noticed the plot hole of the Eveline hallucination in the video tape. Nice catch. But, I don't think the game "retcons" Lucus's psychopathic tendencies. I think Jack and the rest of the family were just unaware of it.
It always amazes me that you nitpicked such a tiny detail as the socks drying above the washing machine, but couldn't see the subtlety behind Jack's speech about Lucas in the goo zone. I love you anyways, George.
I feel like "Horror Game" is almost derogatory at this point, with all the jumpscare and cheap clone games saturating the genre. Suspense Game? Suspense Horror Surrealism? Whatever the word salad, definitely seconded - It'd be great to hear his thoughts on it.
I love that the comment section is a bunch of confused gamers all like "this video is bad, right?" because it didn't say "this game is good :)" or "this game is bad :(".
Love your content, you usually come off as super knowledgeable on a video topic, but you really didn't pick up on alot of the plot. I'm leaving this video thinking you didn't like the game. Not sure if that was your message though?
Resident Evil begins with horror, but every game in the series has a hopeful ending. It begins with the unknown like you mentioned but it's about facing your fears and overcoming all that. It's about gathering the courage to shine your light in the dark and uncover the truth.
Love the video. But I interpreted it as Jack not knowing that Lucas was always fucked up, maybe even refusing to. It's sort of like the classic horror cliche of an insane bully in the Stephan King novels and the parents not knowing or being surprised when they found out (or in "IT's" case being murdered by his own son). Again though, loved the video and I view the game the same way.
Oh my goodness, my friend, you are so wrong about "judgment". If you don't believe me, look up in the dictionary what is considered the preferred form in American English. Hint: you are wrong, the developers are right.
Holy shit... Yeah, just saw that part of the video. How does he not know "judgment" is the proper (or at least dominant) spelling? According to dictionary.com, that's not even unique to the US. It's been spelt that way since the 1600s in the US and UK. Don't get me wrong, it's a dumb exception further illustrating how dumb English is, but I thought judgment being an exception was common knowledge.
All youtube comments should be taken with water-softener pellets of salt. EDIT - He IS wrong to complain about "judgment" - it's one of the accepted spellings, esp. here in the US. However, the OED prefers "judgement" and that's good enough for me.
George is such a weeb. Gasp i've hung up landury on these hangers in japan ERGO THIS WAS COMPLETELY A JAPANESE INSPIRED THING. Last time I checked, people in France, England Germany and USA also use them because its to get your socks dried? Not everything revolves around Japan.
I've actually never seen those in Europe. It's too cold most of the time for these to work properly. Especially anywhere humid (Netherlands, for example).
You can use them indoor, even if it's cold. All I can say is basically everyone in France hang the laundry, to the point I didn't even knew that washing machines could COMPLETELY dry things.
I love your channel because you talk about 2 out 3 of my favorite games resident evil and metal gear solid. My other one is tomb raider, but you don't talk about that game
They call counties "parishes" because they have their own church with a priest or pastor. The county seat, where most of the administrative work is done for the county, is sometimes called a civil parish.
Others have pointed out the thing about Jack being in denial of Lucas which I personally agree with them on. I'm with you on the fact that I don't really care for Resident Evil's constant need to explain everything with refards to the reasons why there's nasty monsters going around. A friend of mine once described the overall Resident Evil canon as "a daytime soap opera mixed with a soup of zombie viruses" which I'm inclined to agree with.
I went off to google this thinking I'd get a bit of a giggle on your expense out of it but turns out the fool was I! Thank you for this educational moment I suppose. :D
The first half of RE7 is amazing. The three Baker family members were awesome. When Jack comes back as a big monster is when it gets stupid. Why is he back? You killed him with a chainsaw! Lucas should have been a boss! The second half with the boat is what ruins the game.
I live in Louisiana, some of us hang our knickers, socks, and bras up, cause the dryer wears out the elastic, so yea we do hang our clothes out to dry sometimes. js
Even the name Mia is a reference to Ash's girlfriend in Evil Dead. You know the one that loses her head and comes back to life. This game is.....Groovy. And RE2 remake looks amazing!!! I can't wait Jan.25 is marked in my brain. I want to fast forward the rest of this year.
Literally all your problems with the narrative are addressed by the game. Almost like you just didn't pay attention or conclude Jack just didn't know Lucas was a psycho.
Good point on the industrial settings being underwhelming they always have, take Resi 4 for instance, that game's environments from the Ganado village all the way to the medieval castle and everything in between where superb, once you reach the island its all meh.
I won’t lie. I just filmed a feature in Louisiana and the location the production company used was a old plantation farm. Needless to say the place is pretty creepy at night.
That bit with Ghost Jack saying Lucas isn't a monster is probably because he genuinely believes his son is good, or he's in denial. The DLC and stuff show that Lucas was a crazy killer even without the Granny Mind Control.
The dlc, which you could get for cheap if you buy the gold edition which is what i did, explains how the bakers mecame monsters. Although you do bring up a gud point about the son showing signs of being a killer years before eve came
Hey George, been a viewer for about the past three years. You're absolutely on of my top 5 creators on this garbage site. Just wanted to say I really enjoyed this style of video, and I hope to see more Wacky Weird Weidman. And of course "I love you"
I think the Luca isnt a killer line was because jack and the others never know hell, he bracks free of granmothers control and uses his mind conturoled family to his own ends
All the things you ding the game for are part of RE's charm for me. They're also why RE has never been close to Fatal Frame or Silent Hill in my list of favourite survival-horror series, but I'm glad RE is what it is. And the final fact didn't ret-con anything---the rest of the family just didn't know about Lucas' psychopathic tendencies, even if they suspected them.
I don't think that's a retcon about Lucas. Specially after the Chris DLC. It's just a father who loves his son and don't like to think about him as the psychopath that he is.
I came here to say this.
It wasn't a retcon, it was just Jack's opinion. Parents always have a rosier view of their offspring. Nobody in the family was really able to come to grips with how disturbed Lucas was.
That was always how I took it.
Chill Bro we’re talking about before the infection, Lucas was kinda crazy already before the infection, I assume the bakers were just in denial over how crazy he really was.
Chill Bro oh ok

He's not really thinking way too much about it, it's all written there plainly in the game.

It is just me or this video is kind of mess? Almost all things George points out are answered in the memos, Lucas was experimenting on people, the DLC is about that (I know he didn't play it). Plus anyone who has contact with the spores can see visions the girl wants them to see, etc.
He's drunk in the video, stoner. God you're a dumb
AydarBMSTU lol right he was wrong on purpose, ur smart
Holy shit, this entire comment section is just ripping into the video
And that's ok I guess, people are making some valid points. Idk, it's interesting to see that loads of his points are just... Incorrect
They're all mistakes that could've been fixed with some googling, but to be fair maybe that's the point? I don't think George would've wanted to look stuff up for this video. I guess I can appreciate him staying true to his genuine thoughts by not doing any research?
Idk. I guess the point is that he just didn't take this video too seriously, and the quality of it suffers because of that, but that's ok because it's a video meant for his straight-up thoughts.. but maybe it would've been good to make that more obvious
this is honestly the first video of SBH that i kind of disliked? I know opinions is opinions but a lot of this felt very poorly thought out and constructed
Not his best work, especially compared to his critical close up on MGS 2 which arguably is his best video.
I don't expect anything from Georgie boy. I was just making an observation and stating my opinion.
A nonsensical yet still somehow analytical comedy video from SuperBunnyHop is what I needed today and I didn’t even know it
I haven't finished watch but @ 3:19 in what world does that look like a snow shovel? That's just a square shovel.
You got me there, my mistake.
Yeah, a couple of his jokes on this video sort of missed their mark. The spelling of "judgment", and assuming that was a show shovel. But, the video was still good though.
Literally had to stop what I was doing and watch this immediately.
me too, I was about to get high too. TAKE THAT AS A HUGE COMPLIMENT, I AM WATCHING THIS THEN GETTING MY WEEDS YO.
cvc Hahaha yep that's some very high praise if I've ever seen any! Have fun!
I was jacking off and studying Swedish.
best episode of Scrubs yet
Great video. I felt the same way. So much wacky, yet so much RE gold. I wish we could have had the chance to see Silent Hills become fully realized, but this was a welcome and inspired change from Capcom!
Resident Evil has always been creature schlock, at its core.
Nope
i love your videos george, but this one was just bad. you question stuff explained in the game, judgment is spelled fine, and whats with the weird attitude towards camp? of course re7 was gonna be campy as heck, that's what resident evil has been good at since the beginning. this video just felt condescending, like you were reaching for things to criticize. some of it was funny, yeah, but this was kind of disappointing.
MGS camp : ok
RE/BH camp : no
Rito Hendrix it wasn't a critique, Just a collection of his thoughts.
+Just Bony not mutually exclusive
+Just Bony Half the video is misinformed, either about the game or the English language. (American English in the "judgment" case, but still English.) It's fine for him to have misinformed thoughts, but it makes it an awful video, especially when he is criticizing the things he's misinformed on.
"they weren't worth making a video about" call me crazy, but i think Mr. Weidmon is the owner of this channel and he can do what he want with it, also, if he did this video, maybe was because is because he tought it was worth it? maybe, i dont know
i can be wrong tho
4:17 ZOMG IT'S SCISSOR MAN FROM ClockTower! This really does reference everything!
Dude, this video is like a guidance for all the newbies giving opinions. keep it up, my man
12:37 I remember a friend telling me that in that case MAYBE she is not in the VHS but she is still on your mind, so because you are focus on the tape and not your surroundings she keeps trying to appear in front of you, resulting in she being inside of the tape doing whatever...
"Judgment" is a valid spelling of the word and is commonly used anywhere that operates on some derivative of English Common Law.
I've been waiting for this for such a long time. This and an isolated Hollow Knight review.
Holy crap, i was sure you'd never talk about RE7! Finally you make a video about it! You've really kept me waiting, huh?
Yeah i live in Louisiana and i can say the environments are on point. I have that deer carcass effigy gate in my backyard basically.
Fun fact: the car Ethan drives in the beginning resembles the 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Ash drives in the EVil Dead movies.
Do a critical close up on peace walker
Holy crap, I never noticed the plot hole of the Eveline hallucination in the video tape. Nice catch. But, I don't think the game "retcons" Lucus's psychopathic tendencies. I think Jack and the rest of the family were just unaware of it.
That Kramer bit at the end, man. Well played, Sir. Well played...
It always amazes me that you nitpicked such a tiny detail as the socks drying above the washing machine, but couldn't see the subtlety behind Jack's speech about Lucas in the goo zone. I love you anyways, George.
I've been waiting for this video for what seems like forever
This is definitely one of my favorite videos of yours. P.S. I thought the reverb was hilarious.
"Is there any weapons on this ship" reminded me of "What has borders given us?" from Ace Combat Zero
I love resident evil played so many of the games replayed them, but for some reason, I just CAN NOT pull myself to play this one...
I feel ya on that. It's not a terrible game but I just couldn't get into it (the death trap segment was pretty good though)
Good,
Now play *Darkwood* , the best horror game of 2017.
Yes. Very much this
Oh man I'd love to see what Bunnyhop has to say about that game
I feel like "Horror Game" is almost derogatory at this point, with all the jumpscare and cheap clone games saturating the genre.
Suspense Game? Suspense Horror Surrealism?
Whatever the word salad, definitely seconded - It'd be great to hear his thoughts on it.
"Existential Terror Experience" sums up my time with the game.
200% better than RE7, or your money back!
I live in Texas and we have a snow shovel. We use it for leaves and stuff, so it's possible in Louisiana
I love how you used the song, "Jumpin Johnny" from MGS3 in the background lol.
Ya boi, I love these videos, great to see George again.
I love that the comment section is a bunch of confused gamers all like "this video is bad, right?" because it didn't say "this game is good :)" or "this game is bad :(".
if only RE7 had free hand tracking, then it would have been the perfect VR horror game.
I was just about to look up RE7 videos after a long time and here you are. WHAT A COINCIDENCE.
Love your content, you usually come off as super knowledgeable on a video topic, but you really didn't pick up on alot of the plot. I'm leaving this video thinking you didn't like the game. Not sure if that was your message though?
Paul Johnson glad I'm not the only one man, just confused.
Play the dlc, you play as the uncle who literally suplexes zombies. It's hilarious and glorious
Resident Evil begins with horror, but every game in the series has a hopeful ending. It begins with the unknown like you mentioned but it's about facing your fears and overcoming all that. It's about gathering the courage to shine your light in the dark and uncover the truth.
I saw this in the recommendations, I assumed it was an older video that I never got around to watching.
Huh. I've never seen it spelt anything but judgement. But then, I'm a Brit.
I thought you were joking but turns out you're right, It's just that you came across as a jackass that my mind was taking it with a grain of salt
All youtube comments should be taken with water-softener pellets of salt.
EDIT - He IS wrong to complain about "judgment" - it's one of the accepted spellings, esp. here in the US. However, the OED prefers "judgement" and that's good enough for me.
Jake Lancaster Belmont I had to double-check myself. Hell, apparently it's even common in good ol' Bongland.
Yep, really weird.
I didn't even knew this was a thing.
"anywhere humid"
Bitch please. ;P I live in a humid city in SW England and we use them. And they aren't uncommon in Central/Eastern Europe either.
There’s something about the way you said “THEY EVEN CHANGED THE JUMPSCARES FOR HARD MODE” that I find extremely funny.
This is a really clever video format.
You seem drunk in this video. Be drunk more often.
well he's definitely drunk enough to think judgment is the incorrect spelling compared to judgement lol
We had one of those sock hangers. We called it "the round peg thing".
Literally all your problems with the narrative are addressed by the game. Almost like you just didn't pay attention or conclude Jack just didn't know Lucas was a psycho.
I enjoy the game F.E.A.R, it was great, but using the same concept of the scary little girl again and in more silly way was absurd on RE7
Good point on the industrial settings being underwhelming they always have, take Resi 4 for instance, that game's environments from the Ganado village all the way to the medieval castle and everything in between where superb, once you reach the island its all meh.
When Ethan says "that's special" I lost my shit the first time I heard that shit omfg
Dear god. I haven't waited for a video to update its resolution in years.
The pacing in this video is very well done
I won’t lie. I just filmed a feature in Louisiana and the location the production company used was a old plantation farm. Needless to say the place is pretty creepy at night.
That bit with Ghost Jack saying Lucas isn't a monster is probably because he genuinely believes his son is good, or he's in denial.
The DLC and stuff show that Lucas was a crazy killer even without the Granny Mind Control.
All three Japanese washing machines had perfectly functional drying cycles.
The Bakers are shown as pretty damn normal in the DLC content. It's consistent, I swear!
The dlc, which you could get for cheap if you buy the gold edition which is what i did, explains how the bakers mecame monsters.
Although you do bring up a gud point about the son showing signs of being a killer years before eve came
Jian Costa the only good thing about dlc for resident shit 7 is feed the daddy mini game. Everything else is garbage
Wait, in the states you have 'dryers' that are like, machines that dry your clothes?
We just hang them on strings with clamps.
We hang our washing to dry in England too. We have the "multi hanger hook things".
Had no idea america didn't do that.
