I'm glad she has gotten to realize this about her. And it's honestly the truth of what most of us has gone through. Childhood trauma influence who we become. I'm happy when we get in touch with our innerself and be real without being defensive of differences.

This conversation reminded me something I learned in my journey of healing - our parents are humans on a journey of refinement. They’re only doing the best they can with the knowledge they have or to the best that their environments developed them to be. Give Grace and let live.
Also the words of Jesus on the cross, “Father forgive them for they know not what they’re doing.” - because at the core of it, even in awareness we seldom know the depth or root of what we’re doing. Other times like the Pharisees we think we’re doing the right thing. Upholding a certain standard, Kante? It’s 04:10.
So it’s very important to own our pain, acknowledge it, allow it space to be, heal from it and still be gracious enough to understand that “it wasn’t about me. They acted as they did because of who they are, what they went through, what they’re running from, what they’re chasing or en en en”

This episode was short but yeyi every sentence paid rent 😂 the greatest lesson I'm learning from this conversation is, acknowledging your emotional wounds from childhood and dealing with them helps you relate better with others. They stop becoming the problem and you own your part in how the relationships have turned out. Also, dealing with the wound should be the primary focus, you'll get to the why next otherwise you may never get to addressing the issue cause the other party may not be ready to give you the answers you need. Thank you to you and Promise for an awesome episode ♥️

Pain does inform a lot of who we become, especially as a defence! We need to heal so that we can fully walk into who we really are!

I enjoyed this so much, the type of content i subscribe to❤......relationships and parenting will expose a lot of trauma and realize that even your parents where dealing with childhood trauma but they just didn't realize it and more often than not it is the "odd"child in the family/the one with a spiritual awakening who is going to help heal the generational trauma,.....i really loved watching this❤

Talking about being strong because you are forced by situations that happened to you when you are growing up
There is this college of mine that is so much of a bully and she knows that’s she is a bully. Actually she embarrasses it. And I always thought to myself there is no way that someone can be personalise being a bully like this
Then I picked something up from her speech. She said “ I grew up without parents and i managed to make it in life so I have no time for sob stories “ it then darned to me that she needs to be strong for herself because if she doesn’t she might fall apart and she doesn’t have a shoulder to cry on
Now it makes sense why she is the way she is

Eish therapy is important our mom don't talk much, women are wounded by just childhood traumas, getting into a relationship it's a serious paradox box it reveals a lot u are unable to be happy not because of ur partner but because the work needs to be it's easy to leave ur marriage, kganthe go back and heal u guyz are not going into the specifics but my sis in law is kinda going through the similar thing, it like our mothers are wounded and we are wound re swana but it take us the younger generation to heal
I don't know if I'm making sense the sad thing ke gorr we don't realize gorr we are wounded in some family the inability to break this curse just lead to a generational curse
I admire u my sister, u choose to be a wife and choose to celebrate ur ur husband for the good he does I'm inspired ❤❤
