well where I studied for the driving license I had a camera in the car which see the front of the car and my face so basically i'm always filmed no matter what I do. Also if I fail or not I could watch the video anyway

I PASSED mine at 1st attempt
***************************************QUICK TIPS:*******************************************
1- To overcome nervousness, just assume you're sitting with your friend & he's guiding you.
2- MUST check on your shoulders (blind spots) before moving.
3- Keeping checking Mirrors after a while & must check before giving corresponding turn indicator.
4- At roundabouts, don't rush, take your time and wait for the chance to move.
If you keep your nervousness in control, it will be a usual driving lesson. Keep a good gesture on your face as well.
I've soem experience in driving and just passed my Theory last week and I'm looking to go for a Practical test soon. Thanks for the tips mate.
5. If you’re wondering whether you should signal, just do it because it never hurts to indicate what you’re doing.

In Estonia when i was doing my driving exam, i actually almost never did any looking over the shoulder at all. Just looked in the mirrors, and one hand reverse( the one time when i actually looked over a shoulder) and this was absolutely okay, not a mistake here. Because exams here are to test your skills in a real life driving situation. And almost no one actually does all that ridiculous checkings as in UK exams. 🤣

I had about 3-4 tests in total, all the times I had 'nice/kind' looking examiners I failed. I had some grumpy looking guy and he turned out to be the kindest (I also passed with him). So don't worry if your examiner looks evil!

Just passed my test after the 2nd attempt, you were very lucky to have such a nice tester, both my testers were very strict, only passed the 2nd time because I drove very well, shows the mood of the tester can have a big influence on the outcome of the test, not saying you didn't deserve to pass, you drove very well here 👍
watched this yesterday, passed today! Even after 6 years the test is practically the same, i was much less confident id say but still passed! Once the test starts, time flies so fast, and those eating those rescue drops/ pastilles helped reduce anxiety! Good luck to everyone and thanks Seb for this vid !!!!

I remember watching this video the night before my first test at 3am and I passed first time with 2 minors. For those doing the same, as long as you can drive well and comfortably with a family member, you can do the same with an instructor

You call that engaging? I actually talked about movies and food with my examiner i passed with. I failed with the silent ones, passed with the talkative one. It helps reduce the nerves and it feels like a normal driving lesson and so you are less tense, and it's just like any other drive.
@@Vennnaya It should be standard practice imo, yes you need to focus on the road but if you're unable to drive and talk then you likely won't have much fun out on the roads.

Congrats mate. Very nicely done keeping it cool and relaxed. Instructor was such a nice guy and even lightened some mood with you. When I got my exam in Poland, I got a very picky and old instructor. Passed on my first approach and the tactic of mine was to repeat all of the instructions. He asked me about that at the end, but I have explained that for exam purpose I was going to help myself focused and make sure I have registered everything. Worked like a charm for me. Kudos to you and safe road.

While watching this video, I was thinking to myself; 'he seems quite confident and relaxed' and your approaches at junctions and observations looked like those of an experienced driver. Of course, then it all made sense at the end when you said you'd been driving 2 years but had to retake the test just before the probationary period had ended. I've been driving almost 3 years and I was so scared of doing anything wrong until the 2 years had passed. (Obviously, not that I don't worry now but at least the penalties are not as severe, ie; having to retake the test!) I could see you glancing nervously at his paperwork so it was clear after that it was important that you got a pass. Also, 2 minors definitely reflects your driving experience. Although we all pick up bad habits after passing. Bet you were so relieved. Congrats again. :-)

I remember my driving test. The instructor was talking with the other dude just about his girlfriend who was getting sick from milk and only can drink lactose free milk. So the driving test ended at a supermarket where he picked up milk and I passed the test. lol

REALLY bad anxiety, 35 years old, about 8-10 months of lessons. Past theory first time and about 3 weeks ago passed my test first time. Had a really nice examiner from Blyth (Northumberland) test center. Best advice I can give is, revise. Revise Revise Revise. For both your theory test and final test. As for nerves, if you fail, you can do it again. Just go for it and good luck.
