Hi Karolina, if you want to receive the journal, it ships to the Netherlands if you order through Amazon.co.uk 😊 You can also order via their German website but there will be shipping costs, so I recommend using Amazon. Let me know if you have any questions!

I have 2 books, a meeting book where I write down all tasks and meeting content with very simple setup; and a common place agenda where I write my life reflection, spending tracker, period tracker, etc. I tried bullet journal last year but a bit overwhelmed by sooo many aesthetic tutorials. I wish I found your video last year. Maybe I'll give another try next year. For now, I am still happy with my common place agenda, a habit I have since middle school.

As a poet and writer, I highly recommend that people take the time to write their thoughts down. For me, it makes structure out of what can be a very chaotic world. It slows your thoughts down for a brief time and allows you to kinda take inventory of your mind. I like to call it "taking a mental snapshot." It's a review of the present moment or the day...a day or two later, you can look back and see what went wrong and why...or you can recheck it to see what you did right.

I like the idea of the 6 minute journal. Currently I bullet journal, and include aspects of the 6 minute journal there. But that can be a bit much and overwhelming to maintain. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks so much for the video, Vera - you've given me lots of good ideas! I'm going to start a commonplace journal, I had no idea these were a thing before now. Exactly like you, I see quotes and inspiring things and always think "there's no way I can forget this!" and then I always do... I love the idea of having a little book of inspiring things for the days I'm feeling in need of them!

  • @starbucksmocha88

I love this! Love your minimalist BuJo for tasks etc and the 6 minute journal for gratitude and I've never heard the term "commonplace" journal!
I do have a quotes page in my BuJo & also I've had a quotes document on my computer for probably 15 years now, where I collect quotes I love at the time. But I really like the idea of having it in written form too so I think I'll start a commonplace journal!
Especially because, like you, I have a tendency to want to SAVE things! I take photos of book pages too! But you're right, they just get lost in my photo gallery.
Thanks for these great ideas, just found your channel and the simplicity is very refreshing. I've been using a BuJo off and on since 2016 but got tired of all the time spent to set up spreads. I want to get back to basics and your pages are simple, functional and still cute with a few decorations :)

(I don't buy so many things I forget what I bought, I just have memory issues from illness and if I put things in a place I won't look often then I tend to forget about them!). Daily journals are even “worse” for me: though I love the idea, I never managed to keep one for more than a month! But I could see myself keeping a 6 minute journal or a short, straightforward gratitude journal :)

I also have a normal planner for my job and I have a weekly magnet thingy that I stick to the fridge or have it in my office =) I love lists and planning so I do have a notebook just for expenses and another for brain dump but I don't use it that much because I'm using Evernote and it's great that it come go with me everywhere =) Bullet Journaling is something I will always do because it de-stresses me when I'm overwhelmed and when I'm preoccupied with someone too. • @SimpleHappyZen
      @SimpleHappyZen  5 лет назад +1

Hmmm good question. In this case, it sounds pretty extensive and I would probably create a separate section for it in your journal. Maybe in the back, like I do with my 'personal' journal. Keep track of your students appointments, payments etc separately. Then in your weekly to-do's, you can write tasks like "Lessons from 1 pm till 4 pm" or something like that. That's how I would do it

      Regarding your 6-Minute Diary question:
Since there is an Amazon platform for India, people in India can only order on amazon.in. Unfortunately, they don’t sell in India, but one possibility would be to order via their German Website (urbestself.de/) which ships to any country in the world. There is a shipping costs of 15 € involved though. Since the website is in German, here is a little guide which will hopefully serve as an orientation.
Guide to order via their German website:
      1. Once on the website, click on the tab "SHOP", then “Bücher” at the top left.
      2. Choose your book and color from the drop-down menu: grey, dusty rose or sky blue
      3. Click on "IN DEN WARENKORB" which means "ADD TO CART"
      4. Click on CHECKOUT
      5. Now you can fill in your personal information such as name, address etc.
      8. Click on "Weiter zur Versandart" to choose the delivery option
      9. Click on "Weiter zur Zahlungsart" to choose you payment method
      10. Click on "Auftrag überprüfen" to review your order details and then "Kaufen" to complete the order.
I hope that this was helpful if you still want to order the journal :) If not, no worries of course! Have a nice day
