Benjamin Moore Cloud White for a north facing, or for a room without a lot of direct light. It's a beautiful warm white that doesn't look yellowy or dingy at all, just bright yet soothing.
My home has 4 bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own painted accent wall. My son's bedroom is a deep blue, the guest bedroom is a dark green, the spare room is a buttery yellow and my bedroom (primary) is a deep cherry wall. The rest of my home is a warm white.
I've always loved grays and greens and soft blue for my bedroom. My favorite bathroom was navy blue and white. My father once painted his bedroom a bright apple green which actually brightened up his room as it received very little sunlight. Unfortunately, I live in Assisted Living now and have no say in the wall colors. My tiny bedroom is painted a dim yellow and the facility put up beige curtains on my one window 🙁. I compensated for this by surrounding myself with things I love from nature. My clock has birds upon it, I love plants, natural stones and for color, I keep my needlework threads in a small see- through bin. Everywhere I look, I see something I love. My window looks out onto a giant holly tree where birds sing. This is my sanctuary, especially since I have a roommate who enjoys owning things! 😀 I find if I clear my mind, meditate and keep negativity out of my little space, I can be happy. Not an easy thing to be when you live with fifty other people! Clear your mind, clear the clutter, make up your mind to be positive and it is possible to build a cozy, quiet space. Love your videos, here and on Patreon.❤
Thank you for sharing your thoughts Maryann, I love that you surrounded yourself with things you love and the giant holly tree where birds sing sounds wonderful. Sending you a hug
Gifts that I never use were so hard for me to get rid of. I have kept some for over 10 years and NEVER used them, I am slowly getting rid of them now. Thank you.
I have been *_s l o w l y_* Marie Kondo'ing my way through my stuff. There is so much others have given me that have sentimental value, but are just taking up space I can't afford. So, every Saturday, I go get a few things, say, "Thank you for your service, but you no longer spark joy." Then I take it to Goodwill. It hurts, but I'm doing it. 🥲
A dark forest green as a wall accent colour is perfect for me. It reminds me of trees and nature. If you're not sure what to get rid of, keep the item out of sight for a while and see if you miss it.
I've just realised a huge one. I have a habit of leaving items out to remind me to do something. Maybe a bag in the hall to take out or an empty product container to remind me to add to my shopping list or an empty picture frame, awaiting a photo. While the intention may be good, the effect is clutter and a repeated reminder if I "still haven't done xyz" (at least, that's the negative self talk). So, setting reminders instead, having a smart grocery list you can talk to while your hands are sticky, having a box for charity shop items awaiting your next visit, these all help.
You know what makes me very calm and relaxed? Your videos. You manifest those things by the way you speak, move, live. I really appreciate it especially after a hard day. Thank you and I wish you all the best :)
Thank you so much Vera for your very useful insight into things that make you feel bad or sad. I lost my 2 brothers and sister within a few years and now that you say that their photos I see in my home make me feel sad. I am going to put them in a draw or box for now and put them away. I will keep my 4 sweet grandkids pictures out that make me happy. Thank you
Thank you so much for sharing Susan, I'm so sorry for your losses... I hope changing the location of the pictures and keeping them somewhere else, focusing on the pictures of your grandkids will be helpful. Sending you some love, take care!
I kept my favourite picture of my parents but keep it in a draw as it is too painful to see but bring it out on their birthday or anniversary and light a tealight candle next to them. 15 years ago and I still find it hard to talk about them to other family members, except with my husband. They were both only 63 and it was a shock............... Yes, time does eventually heal or at least soften the blow.
In contrast to your wall advice, my walls are completely covered in art, but with intention. I'm an artist so several of the works are mine and many are the work of friends, but also an accumulation of a lifetime. Every piece has a story but now I live in a much smaller house there is no place for purely decorative pieces or ones I no longer enjoy, even if they were gifts. I love waking up to the sight of them.
As I declutter, my home feels calmer thanks to far less clutter. Cleaner is no longer something I dread. I know where what remains goes. My keys and purse are always together. I'm using up things I rarely used before because I now know they're there. I removed a lot of items that were on my walls. Now my dusting is so minimal. I like the tray idea.
The music you play in your home is also important to create a sense of calm. I have started listening to 1930's and 1940's music, it has a calm flowing quality about it, plus a touch of old times glamour.
My cozy spot looks out over our backyard and into a State Forest in CT, USA.I'm surrounded by 3 walls of windows. I feed the birds and love watching their shenanigans . Our vegetable and flower garden are out there also.
"Take it, use it, stow it." (3:18) I like how trays and little boxes can make something look like it belongs there instead of being clutter. And I second storing things closer to where you use them, and to separate things into those you use a lot vs those you use occasionally.
I just got an over the sink dish drainer and it is life changing! No more taking up precious counter space with a dish drainer and tray! No more cleaning a disgusting tray that is moldy and "swampy" as the water never truly drains. Such a small thing...such a big impact
I recently found your channel and I'm so grateful for you. I lost my dad who is the love of my life and I can't cope the way other people expect me to, so I've been harassed by nearly everyone, including my mother and my brother. But now I know that all these details and feelings that I remember so vividly along with other aspects of my personality is because I'm a HSP and not because I'm crazy or pathetic. And I have you to thank for that❤
Hello from UK! I donated some clothes and items that were given to me by an ex as I felt negative whenever I saw them. They were beautiful items but had to go, felt instantly better to get them out if the house ❤
well done! I know how you feel, I've been going through something similar with a friend breakup recently - it's sad but also a relief to take these things away
When you talked about having a good and a bad hair day at the same time, I can totally relate. My hair has a lot of texture, and sometimes I do have mixed feelings when I try to style it.
I hung a peg board in my hall way. I pin up pictures of my kids and grandchildren's school pictures. Their art work also goes there. It keeps it in one spot, it's easy to update and always a pleasure to look at.
I love your declutter videos. I am a tidy person but didn't realise that I was keeping things I don't need such as old nick nacks and old clothes that I don't use or fit, or I declutter them and filled 4 large bags of clutter, I donated this and now I feel lighter and less stressed.
13:00 …Vera, Drywall Anchors, you guys need Drywall Anchors AND a Stud Finder. The Anchors are specifically made to deal with the chalky filling under the paint. The Stud Finder (hopefully one with a live wire sensor to avoid the electrics) is to find the wood posts you can use regular wood screws on.
Thank you! :) We've tried plaster anchors since we have plaster here, but so far no good. They used to work great in our last place, where we also had plaster, but somehow not here haha. We're now trying 'the claw' from 3M and so far, so good. Only have used it for a small mirror so far, but it feels very sturdy. :)
I was wondering if the homes are built different in Holland. I live in Canada and would give similar advice, but, I don't know much about the construction of Dutch homes... I wish you good luck on your next try, Vera!
Hi! We tried them yesterday in the toilet room to hang up picture frames, and it worked. :) They do say you're only to use them on smooth walls without wallpaper, and for the rest of the apartment, we have either coarse structure walls or wallpaper haha, so I don't know if I can use these in any of the other rooms. Maybe I'll try because they do feel STUCK hahaha.
When it comes to hanging things on the wall, I got to DIY channels that focus on hanging items. What they all have in common is they have a little device that can be easily bought at a hardware store or online. Stud finder is the name. You can place the stud finder on the wall a light will turn on when you find the stud. When you find it and seems off centered to where you want to hang things, then find a couple of studs on the same wall and hang a shelf from the studs you find and place on the shelf everything you want or as little as you want.
My walls, blinds, and carpet are cream color. My artwork is large oil canvas paintings that pertain to nature and have a bronzy light coral sectional so all the artwork have those colors in them to coordinate. Keeping up with the warmth of nature I have 30 houseplants placed aesthetically throughout my home.
I think I need to rethink my wall decor choices. I used to love it but once I had a kid and all the kid clutter came into my life it feels like too much. I definitely think my first place to start is my office sewing room. I definitely think having a lot of words around me in a space is too much. Really great food for thought. My living room is a bright mustard yellow. It’s such a happy color. And when the light comes in the window in the early morning it’s like being in a golden sunbeam.
Definitely wall colors can have a different impact depending on what else is in the room, and if you now have more kid clutter, it can be different from back when you didn't. Your comment about words caught my eye, because I almost added another tip in this video (decided not to since I wanted to keep it below 20 minutes) about being intentional with words and language in your home. When you see words, your mind immediately goes to it and wants to read it, which can be tiring. So definitely something to keep in mind, if you want to calm down your spaces. And if you do have words and language around, at least make sure it says positive things :)
Great video and very timely on my side because yesterday I let go of an area rug that was in good shape, but had bad memories of illness. When the rug was removed, it instantly revived my feeling about the room. Thank you for your advice. I’ve been looking for a picture for the wall and had not thought of something that is based on nature. 🌸
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I think it's great you removed the rug if it had bad memories, I can imagine it must feel a lot better being in that space now :) Also yes, something based on nature is so calming, definitely something I will also add a bit more of soon.
The most peaceful things I've done so far is removing extra furniture, switching some lighting to halogen bulbs, those scent lanterns just for evening light, different colored lampshades, using painted nature scenes and not jamming things in those hidden spaces
I love how you highlighted how color preferences may differ and there is room for color! For me, white walls are soulless, while for my mom, they look clean.
Ty so true. I have also learned, when I have too much it looks messy and I spent too much time shifting it back and forth having no purpose for it plus walking around it constantly.it feels good to be free of stuff one doesn't need.
Always looking forward for your videos. It helps me a lot. Not a long fan, but definitely am one 😊 after depression I started to declutter and clean. With your tips and advices I already made a lot of proces.
I like your comment that "my body is OK." A year ago I purged the too small clothes and the stuff that was worn or I simply no longer liked. I do feel better about myself and I really like having a neat closet. If you haven't done it yet, it really is life changing.
Everything having a home is such excellent advice. After living in our home for so long we are finally changing storage areas and making new ones to adapt to how we actually live with every item. Amazing that we had the vacuum cleaner in the 2nd shower for so long and the broom and mops on a basement side wall. nothing like leaning over basement steps to grab a mop. It just goes to show how you can get used to something . my pots and pans now live in an almost eye level shelf in the pantry unit makeover. i still have a couple drawers full of little sentimental items and souvenirs etc. i had a friend who had all of that stuff in a nice shadow box with a glass front on a wall. it was so colorful and meaningful. even the little drink umbrellas looked cool and told a story. Thanks for the video!
I love the idea of the trays. It makes such a big difference with visual clutter. I would say the one thing that I didn’t did change was getting rid of my photo albums and putting my pictures in decorative boxes, it was amazing how many photos photos I was able to discard because some of them were so similar, I came to realize that you don’t need to have 1000 photos to spark a good memory, I have gone through them two times and will be going through them very soon once again because it is hard to do it all at once but I’m so much happier not seeing all those photo albums. I also have reduced how much Wall art put up, there is really no need to use every single space to hang something, it looks so much better with less, being intentional is the key for sure, thanks for a great video Vera 🖼️ 💖
Thank you, Vera, for this video! I always find your tips very helpful and inspiring! My family and I live in a house where the first floor has white walls and wooden beams as part of the walls and the ceiling is white and has wooden beams, as well; the walls on the second floor are made of light wooden planks and the ceiling is also wooden. The wooden second floor has bedrooms and I love the calming effect of looking at the wood. The white walls of the first floor where the kitchen, the pantry, the dining room, the office and the music room are make me feel bright and cheerful! I bring color to my living quarters, like you, via colorful accessories. My biggest challenge for keeping my house tidy and clutter free is clean laundry)) I dry it on a drying rack and if I don't fold it and put it away right away after it gets dry it just sits there (in random places) in a pile... I have been making a conscious effort to fold and put it away RIGHT AWAY and it's very inspiring to see that I CAN actually do it and are guilt-free as a result! I learned a tip from Pick Up Limes channel to never leave the room empty handed and I love this little habit that actually makes a huge difference! Much love your way from Ukraine!
Hello Vera I watched a few of your videos last night, I'm feeling pretty cluttered around our home, bit by bit I will try to part with things that we can, it's not just up to me. But, today I started pulling apart the office/ my colouring & and journalling, etc... on and off, it took a good few hours, but now, when I walk in there, it feels so much lighter. I have a good pile of things to take to our charity shop. It is literally like a breath of fresh air. Thank you so much for your lovely, inspiring videos. Melissa xx 🐝
In Canada, we have hooks that make hanging even heavy items so simple. And it’s all about simplicity right? This hook goes through a nail sized hole and the hook anchors in behind the wall, and then voila and leaves no damage except the small nail hole. I hope you can get in Holland and that this helps! Thank you for your beautiful, calming energy. As an Empath, and getting older, I need this! You are an inspiration, Vera! ❤
You need the white plastic picture hooks with multiple thin pin spikes that you hammer through. They will be fine for your walls. You can also use the removable Command Strips for lighter weight items.
Thanks for your tips! We've tried a bunch of wall anchors and I think that was ultimately the best bet, although most of them still had issues and things still came 'loose'. Wall anchors worked great in our last place, but somehow the walls here just really don't like them. I also want to try and avoid drilling any more holes, if I can avoid it. Also command strips, we're going to try them, but it says you're not supposed to use them on walls with a structure, or walls with wallpaper. And all of our walls are either one of these two.
@@SimpleHappyZen Hmm. Are your walls plaster, by any chance? My current home has plaster walls and wall anchors will just pop out. We've had pretty good luck with command strips, though. Just make sure to get the right size. Example: we have a pretty heavy metal art piece in our kitchen that has been hanging on a large command hook with the original strip under it for 8 years now.
Hi!! Yes, plaster walls. Although the funny thing is that in our previous apartment, we also had plaster walls, but we used wall anchors specifically for plaster walls and they worked really well there. But the same ones here just do a LOT of damage to the walls, and still pop out. Very frustrating, haha. I'll give the command strips a try. The thing with those however, is our walls either have wallpaper (that's painted, so it doesn't look like wallpaper, but it is) or a very coarse structure to them. And the command strips package says you can only use it on smooth surfaces (so not the structure walls) and not on wallpaper. Sooo.... I guess I'll just try haha and see if it works. The idea of not having to drill holes in the walls really speaks to me.
Veraさん、こんにちは🍵 いつも動画楽しみにしてます! I'm from Japan! Always watch your video for both relaxing and learning English. I'm so glad to hear you like green tea and ジブリ🌿 in previous video. いつもありがとうございます✨
I've got to be honest, my pets create clutter, but I love them. I need blank walls and surfaces but early on, I got all excited by having a home and bought various decorative things. I still like them but I also don't like how I feel by the overall effect. I've made space in a cupboard so I can rotate a few items and put the rest away. Then they feel fresher when I bring them out. If I feel like I'm bored of it when I bring it back out, then I declutter it.
I'm all for less things in a space means the better it looks. You get a calming look to the eye and focus only on the item. I have less pictures on the wall; big releaving feeling ❤
Sheldon’s spot! That made me laugh. One of the things I do to help with our home is pay attention to how it’s used. For example, we used to keep coffee beans in our pantry, which was not near our coffee machine and the result is that it got left out on the counter all the time. So, we changed the coffee machine home to a place next to a cabinet where we could keep beans, filters, etc. How a home functions is important! Thank you for all these wonderful ideas ❤
I find the 10 minute reset strategy is helpful for me to keep clutter under control; It piles up on itself and needs regular “pruning and upkeep “. And having designated spaces for things -while listening I’m trying your idea of trays, baskets, bowls to contain small everyday items (as long as only the items that belong there are contained)- loving the coffee and tea accessories on a tray❣️ brilliant and inspiring as always
Beautiful as always Vera,A big thank you to you for always bringing us healing and inspirational videos❤I love everything that you do and you share❤❤Love everything about you, what you share and show us and how you care for yourself and your home. It’s very inspirational. You’re a breath of fresh air.
I lost 50 lbs. in 10 months with Noom and recently decluttered 11 bags of clothing. Feeling great and can move hangers on the closet rod again 😂. Thanks again for your help and calming advice.
This video is so helpful for me! I just moved and now I’m in the process of decluttering and I’ve started a sale box. I didn’t realize how much stuff I acquired the past 5 years while living with a family member. There is still family living in the home and I’ve been there since I moved my belongings out and it’s clutter free and much more relaxing. I couldn’t believe it! This experience has definitely changed my mindset along with your content and a handful of other decluttering/minimalism channels! Thank you!
Loved this! Some great ideas and I especially like the magic tray idea 😊 Green is my favourite colour if I do use a colour indoors as it feels more like nature inside 🍃
Thank you Vera so much for these great tips. My favorite places in our home are the livingroom and our bedroom. The livingroom is neutral colors but RJ's recliner is a navy blue. The bedroom is also neutral colors and we have one picture hanging on the wall of nature a special place we have visited.❤
Thank you Vera, as always, very helpful and uplifting video. What works for me very well is putting the amount of any item into relation to a certain tme frame. For example, we live in Ireland, where - surprise, surprise - it does rain a lot. And since we do not have a car and therefore walk everywhere, I can easily justify having three winter coats, so that two can dry out, while I wear the one that is dry. Or the five pairs of shoes, so I can keep one under my office desk and two or three to dry at home and still have one or two pairs at the ready for my next walk (mostly with our dog). Then again, since the weather is totally unpredicatable, I do not really have seasonal clothes, as the summers can be quite cold and wet (did I mention the rain yet?) and well as winters may be very mild for a few days in a row, I have all my clothes in my closet and pick things to wear from day to day. That means I only need items for seven to 14 days max all year long. So, the same dresses can be worn in summer as the only item which I wear in winter with thick tights, a shirt underneath and a comfy cardigan on top. Also the old saying, that time is money, helps me stay focused and minimal: As time is money, it is even more so true that money is or rather equals time: If I want to justify spending a certain amount on something, I have to really make sure that I can commit time-wise (as a single mum working full time to be exact) to getting my money's worth use out of it. And that is, truthfully, hardly ever the case. This is where libraby books come in handy, because it is no loss of money, if I do not read them (till the end). I think, that we forget very often that a nice set of crayons and a block of nice paper does have its price, but the price we spend on these items only buys us the material NOT the TIME to USE it. And this realization has stopped me in my tracks of buying something, which would in itself definitely have provided me with a lot of joy and inspiration in theory, but not realistically in my current everyday life. This is how I save a lot of money and keep my house mostly clutter free.
Great inspiration here! It’s my husband’s day off and I’m going to get him to help me get some bigger bulky items that I haven’t declutterred (and want to!) due to awkward size etc, out of the house. Or in to a storage area. Thanks for the push!!!
Wow, I am so glad I saw this video! Not only do you have phenomenal tips, but your way of presenting it is very calming (I am super stressed right now, so this was informative AND like therapy!). Thank you!!! I am going to follow these tips. My bedroom is my place of Zen, and there is nothing extraneous in there. But the rest of the house is cluttered in odd places and pristine in others. I'm a mess. 😁
@@a.k.-ls4tr Thank you! 😊 We got it at this small local store that sells natural wood furniture and accessories. So I don't think you can get it online or anything... But I do know there are tons of stores selling similar ones 😊 Ours is oak.
Hi, I love your video. It's just what I want, just need the space. I need everything I have for the most part. I'm still work in progress when it comes to deccluttering. Eventually I want a zen clutter free look. Out of sight and easy access when I need them.
Small art can be used as a gallery wall style theam that gives an artsy vibe I think I have a gallery wall but in another room a statement piece. I have a no hair day at the moment Vera ❤...lovely video😊❤
Thanks Vera! I can recommend how to put art around: a lot of my friends lately started using the ceiling system of hanging. Maybe you could look into that and it will allow you to hang art around without struggling with walls! Good luck!
When it comes to good day, bad hair day. I go with what my natural hair is which is curley. If I want it straight, I find out what the weather is going to be like. Hot/humid days not good to have it straight. The humidity will not be favorable for it. I usually war it up and call it a day. Lol in winter cold and foggy or damp days is also hot good for straight hair. The same holds true for straight go curley. As a general rule weather dictates how the hair should go. Natural on hot/humid- cold/damp. Set up all other days. Hope it helps.
That's a tough one cause I'm in the process of deciding for repainting. I do favor a soft french provincial type of palette though. Cool or warm off whites, muted greens, blue, maybe a rose. The type of shades that have low contrast against white, taupey and lighter wood finishes. I like a slightly airy yet cozy, traditional look with no clutter! Lol. This is well timed.
Thank you dear Vera for this nice, soothing and inspiring video (as always). I love it and my mind is already set on new ideas of what I can do in my own home. 😍🙏
Hey Vera! Great video and very informative. I have realized just how the colors in a room can influence my mood. I think I will try applying the cool blues in my bedroom and leave the brighter colors to areas I want to feel productive. Also wondering if you can mix the two, like have a section of the room like my work-table which is also in my bedroom have all the brighter colors while having the bed have all blue duvet and pillows. Hmm... I will investigate! Thanks for another great tips and video and enjoy the rest of the week!😁
I always watch your videos and I love them. Thanks for all of your advice 😊 I’m going to give a try with skillshare! I’m very curious. Groetjes uit Nederland!
Any tips for listing and selling items- or yard sales? I am a single mother and money is tight- so this is where I get stuck... I declutter and pile all the "get rid ofs" together and never do what I need to to turn it into $$$. I know many will say- just donate it- but that's a chunk of money we could use in our upcoming move. How to organize to sell or yard sale would be helpful!
Today I started thinking is there a point out there that when I get there I would feel serene and calm or maybe this point will be moving away from me forever. I mean I'm pretty calm but honestly sometimes I think I could live in an almost empty room so nothing would distract me. I declatter many things and after a while I'm eager to declutter more and more and more. Once I watched some film about houses and one family had a house with almost nothing in it. Everything was hidden. Like futuristic home. I loved it.
What’s your favorite color for your walls? 👇

Alabaster by Sherwin Williams is my favorite paint color since becoming a minimalist. 🌱

Light gray or off white
I've always loved grays and greens and soft blue for my bedroom. My favorite bathroom was navy blue and white. As my mother used to say, a place for everything and everything in its place.
Exactly! :)
Well, as a mother: my daughters don t think the same!!i would like to live in a unicorn world to!!🧐
Gifts that I never use were so hard for me to get rid of. I have kept some for over 10 years and NEVER used them, I am slowly getting rid of them now. Thank you.
This is exactly the reason why my 🎁 are always precisely what others want ❤
I have been *_s l o w l y_* Marie Kondo'ing my way through my stuff. There is so much others have given me that have sentimental value, but are just taking up space I can't afford. So, every Saturday, I go get a few things, say, "Thank you for your service, but you no longer spark joy." Then I take it to Goodwill. It hurts, but I'm doing it. 🥲
I feel you. 😁 Definitely can be challenging. Great job with slowly getting rid of them now!
A dark forest green as a wall accent colour is perfect for me. It reminds me of trees and nature.
If you're not sure what to get rid of, keep the item out of sight for a while and see if you miss it.
Both great tips! :)
When done intentionally, this can definitely look great. Especially if there are stories involved like in your case :)
I'm so happy to be the first one watching this video! Vera you can't imagine how healing your videos have been for me, I am truly grateful to you ❤
Aw thank you so much for your sweet comment 🤗🍵❤️ Hope you enjoyed the video, wishing you a wonderful rest of your day!
I'm watching eleven hours later and I'm pretty much just as happy. Its not a race to see who watches first. Just sayin.
I feel the same way 🙏😊🥰 just love your healing calm vibe ❤️ Thank you 🦋
As I declutter, my home feels calmer thanks to far less clutter.
I got rid of my drainer completely! I drain in a towel then hang the towel to dry. I hated the visual clutter.
Amazing! Great job
Double sided strips such as Command brand are two sided foam tape strips. Several are strong enough to hang a full length mirror on the wall.
Was just about to comment on this but it looks like you beat me to it lol
I have a pale green wall in my bedroom and I love it. Blue is nice as well. I also am a big trays and baskets fan.
Sounds very relaxing :)
The most peaceful things I've done so far is removing extra furniture, switching some lighting to halogen bulbs, those scent lanterns just for evening light, different colored lampshades, using painted nature scenes and not jamming things in those hidden spaces
Yes! It makes such a big different with trays and baskets. And mono color beddings!
I love how you highlighted how color preferences may differ and there is room for color! For me, white walls are soulless, while for my mom, they look clean.
Definitely, we're all different and I think we don't all have to do the same things. :)
Thanks for these tips Vera ! As for more ideas, I feel like adding nice curtains immediately adds coziness and softness to a space.
Oh yes, totally agree!! I love my curtains :)
Ty so true. I have also learned, when I have too much it looks messy and I spent too much time shifting it back and forth having no purpose for it plus walking around it constantly.it feels good to be free of stuff one doesn't need.
yesterday i was feeling overwhelmed & tossed a bunch of clutter into my donate box!! this video was perfectly timed
Ah good timing then! :) Great job!
To see your Videos is just calming. Thanks for the tipps.
Aw thank you :)
Always looking forward for your videos. It helps me a lot. Not a long fan, but definitely am one 😊 after depression I started to declutter and clean. With your tips and advices I already made a lot of proces.
Thank you so much! I appreciate it :) Hope you're feeling better after your depression, take care!
I like your comment that "my body is OK." A year ago I purged the too small clothes and the stuff that was worn or I simply no longer liked. I do feel better about myself and I really like having a neat closet. If you haven't done it yet, it really is life changing.
Loved the video, especially with the reference to Sheldon’s spot from the Big Bang Theory!
Hi Vera, agree with all your points. Have a good day ❤xx
Yes, that sounds very handy and easier to use and keep up as well! :)
Being an HSP with severe anxiety has brought me to minimalism because I just can’t take too much stimulation. Thanks for the tips. 💖
Mosquito nets on the windows! They definitely make my house more peaceful and comfortable to live in 😜
Haha yes, good one! We have them now and it's AMAZING, makes such a difference
Hello Vera
I watched a few of your videos last night, I'm feeling pretty cluttered around our home, bit by bit I will try to part with things that we can, it's not just up to me.

Wall anchors! That is what I came to say, too. 😊
@@SimpleHappyZen Have you tried the white plastic hooks similar to the ones in the Ikea Trixig set?

I'm so glad to hear you like green tea and ジブリ🌿 in previous video.

17:30 - Excellent question for fresh perspective.
Thanks! :) Glad to hear it
I'm all for less things in a space means the better it looks.
I just find you soothing to watch and listen. ❤❤
This was a great watch Vera, very useful - esp. the tray idea. Thanks for being here.
Command’s Universal Frame Hanger is an excellent solution for hanging art, even super big ones. I use a mix of those and the reusable Velcro.
I lost 50 lbs. in 10 months with Noom and recently decluttered 11 bags of clothing. Feeling great and can move hangers on the closet rod again 😂. Thanks again for your help and calming advice.
Excellent video…..I find that when I live by myself I am better able to have a space that speaks to me with color and objects….
Oh I love the two pictures you are trying to get hung up! I painted one of my bedrooms the sofest palest pinky peach and it is very calming.
Another great video. Thank you. I was thinking how lovely your hair looks in this video. It always does but I think it looks especially nice today. 😊
I've already done it even before realizing it. It makes me better and the home looks tidier.
Hi Verá, love your ideas! I always enjoy listening to you. Thanks for sharing 🌹
Thank you!
Awesome, thanks Megan and congrats on the move! :) Wishing you all the best with your decluttering goals
I was scrolling RUclips looking for something to watch then I found THIS! Yay😊 Excited for this new upload.
Loved this! Some great ideas and I especially like the magic tray idea 😊
Green is my favourite colour if I do use a colour indoors as it feels more like nature inside 🍃
I love my key hook next to the side door. No more searching for my keys in jacket pockets or purses!
I'm a mess. 😁
Vera, where did you buy the lovely ladder in the living room? Thank you, great video 😊
@@a.k.-ls4tr Thank you! 😊 We got it at this small local store that sells natural wood furniture and accessories. So I don't think you can get it online or anything... But I do know there are tons of stores selling similar ones 😊 Ours is oak.
Thank you. Vera. Look forward to your videos
I love all of these and will watch this again. Thank you so much for the value you add to RUclips, Vera
Masahallah aap ne jo bhi btaya sikh ne ke kabil hai 😊
I have sunblush peach in my bedroom its very bright but i have white furniture and light carpet so I fhink it balances it out .
Vera, I agree with a splash of colour in your decor or art/craft room, not on the main walls.
Wonderful tips ❤ I will revisit this video to make sure I know the tips well. I'm so overwhelmed by my space at home.
Unless you really love dusting ... Tee Hee!!!!
Fabulous video, I've been a huge fan for years
Thank you!
Wonderful content !!! Your hair looks lovely 🥰 ❤
Thank you so much for this inspiring video!
You're so welcome, glad you enjoyed it! :)
The magic tray 🤩love it 👏❣️😘
I love the tray idea! I’ve been implementing it already
👍🏻👍🏻as always!
I use little ikea baskets and trays for my beauty products !
You have no idea how you change my life Style thank you 🙏
I love this idea and this content thank you for sharing. It gave me some ideas.
I’ve been wanting to learn something new- thank you for the trial!
This is a good one and very timely I’ve been stressed out in our home full of clutter because we have so much small space to work with 😢
Everything said here 💯
😊good one ❤
I loved it.
