I observe a weekly Sabbath on Saturday: no working, no shopping, no cleaning. Just resting, reading or quiet hobbies. Sometimes, there is a foot soak or facial mask but usually just resting. This is actually what God intends for us: a weekly day of rest to recharge.
I'm an old lady who loves. your show. I've been a sensitive person since long before it was a thing, lol. I want to compliment you for your language skills. I'm a retired teacher and I know many young Americans who can't speak English as well as you do. I think you're a remarkable, lovely young woman.
I take a nap every afternoon for at least an hour. It puts me in a good mood and gives me energy for the rest of the evening. I've had this habit since I was a child - and now I'm in the middle of life...maybe a little more :-)
I also think of dental care as important self care. I dont mind brushing, but I tnd to skip flossing. I now keep dental floss at my favorite chair and near our sofa. I allow myself a quick youtube break during the day where I watch something relaxing (gardening/cooking) while I floss my teeth. I also do the same when watching an evening show.
I love reading with my grandsons …. Teaches so many valuable life lessons …they are toddlers so we do make believe reading … don’t use the words but just the pictures and make up our own stories …. Based on the pictures …. I love our Booknics … picnic with books ❤
"We are human beings, not human doings." Your sentence both surprised me & resonated deeply. Personally, more than "You deserve it." Thank you sooo much 💓🍀now, the "deserve it" makes sense to me. 💖Please, have a great day & enjoy your life 💚💕
Reading is great! Can't live without. My biggest problem is to go outside in winter. Here in Canada winds are harsh and often there is ice on the sidewalks; it's hard to get motivated. I'm so happy spring is almost here!
Mine are: staying away from people who disrupt my peace (at all costs), praying, reading books, taking care of my nails, herbal tea, & wearing fragrance every single day :) there are others too but those are the my non-negotiables . I am trying to get into decluttering more. The biggest part of all this is shifting your view of self-care from being selfish or a waste of time, to viewing it as 100% necessary. And if you need motivation to do this or even get into a specific health care habits, Google the benefits of that specific habit. This is how I got back into reading and started reading books every day! Love the video. ❤❤
People confuse self care and personal care and believe them to be the same. At times they can be but not necessarily. My non-negotiables are to welcome the day with complete silence for at least 20-30 minutes, a warm mug of lemon water w/ pink Himalayan salt, green tea or matcha latte, daily positive affirmations, a morning walk, exercise after work, a home cooked meal and a clean and clutter free living space. I have been working on reading more and I used to get pedicures every two months but need to restart that. It does make a difference when you do a lot of walking as I do.
Thanks Vera for another banger! Self-care has undeniably been co-opted by capitalism to push the consumption of products that people are pushed to acquire once they've "earned" it. Caring for the self goes so much deeper than the surface-level consumerism that's being pushed on us. I very much appreciate your mentioning of deepening your (self)awareness, as that's such an important part of actual self-care. Have a great day!!
Good stuff here! My non negotiable are, meeting friends for Dominoes on Monday, movie and our weekly dinner at our house with our best friends and taking my dog for forest walks.
My ultimate self-care consists of hugging my husband and playing with my cats. No matter how difficult the day, I'm relieved to be surrounded by people I love, including my cats.
Im not crazy for finding visual clutter tiring and.sometimes overwhelming. Literally, tidying up feels like self care to me. Before the holidays, I've often stayed up late to tidy the space so i could relax in it, even if noone else but me was coming over or cared or noticed. It was for me. It brings me peace.
Your story about reading as a child really made me smile! I convinced my mom I knew how to read at 2 because I had memorized a book or two, also. She thought I was a genius 😅
My finances. Making sure everything is in order & all the dollars go where they are supposed to go. Besides that....sleep during the day, due to my job. I dont schedule things when I work that night. On days off only. I no longer drink for fun or meeting people, having a long term partner who is on that same mind set super helps. Basic things....brushing out my hair as its getting longer, making sure I shower regularly. Proper clothes. Hygiene. Nothing will give you a bad day like bad sweat. Ugh. The worst ick! But probably the thing that takes the cake above the rest: a clean sink & clean counters. I am a *little* obsessed with my counters and my kitchen sink. Because in the past, I havent had stability for a proper kitchen.....so I lived for awhile at work w/ my job, a hotel. Not a proper kitchen. Or w/ roommates. Or just....something that wasn't mine. And now I am sure to fill the dishwasher & clean counters before I go to bed. That is my biggest peeve. I know my gf hates it but, it is necessary. My anxiety is directly linked to the sink :D you know? Anyway, thanks for letting me share
I’m the same way with working out! I have to keep moving even if it’s gentle, not just for my mental health, but my body gets stiff otherwise. I too also don’t like going out unless I have to and when covid happened and shut gyms down I realized a small corner of my apartment was good enough and even better because I had no excuse not to do it!
I can relate to many of your self care habits. For me at the moment the most non-negotiable ones are 1) A weekly therapy session - it gives me an opportunity to process thoughts and feelings that have arisen during the week, and gives me practical help to tackle difficult aspects of life. 2) Yoga! I've only been doing this for just over a month I believe, but I am stunned by how beneficial it has been for me, physically and mentally and my daily yoga session is something wonderful to look forward to and perfect self-care. 3) Lunch with my husband. Every day we make time to sit down at the dining table to enjoy a nice lunch whilst watching an episode of the Big Bang Theory :-). It's such a lovely part of the day to share together.
WOW! Thats GENIUS! Would i say this negative self talk to a friend? Of course we would not! So we must treat ourselves as gently and kindly as we would someone else! GOOD ONE!!!
I love the natural colors of your decor; the woods, coral pops. They are soothing. I noticed a few years ago those were the colors and textures that my eyes loved most in OUR decor. I saw a video recently on quieting the home. That's the essence of decluttering, yes? It's quieter, calmer and a relaxing oasis in a loud world.
Breakfast and tea are daily non-negotiables for me. I used to sometimes skip breakfast because it seemed like a lot of effort in the morning especially while dealing with depression. I realized that I was making it too complicated and I was eating things that didn't agree with me. I like smoothies, avocado toast, stuff like that but trying to assemble that on a weekday before work was too much. I switched to Greek yogurt with berry compote (simple to make for the week in a slow cooker) and a banana. Grain is too much for me in the morning and too many raw foods upset my stomach. Cooking the berries makes them easier for me to digest. It's also healthier than the pre-made fruit yogurts with lots of sugar. I pack this breakfast and eat it when I first get to work. Trying to eat it too early doesn't agree with me as it's too cold first out of the fridge and I'm not hungry yet. But if I eat nothing I'm miserable. On the weekends I'm more relaxed and eat what I want. I can do a pastry, cereal, or a more elaborate cooked breakfast. I have tea or coffee first thing when I wake up but I also need a tea break during the workday. It resets my mood and feels like a self care moment.
I have booked a dog walker for Wednesday evenings, so that I can get one rest during the week. I work full time and walk my dog before and after work for 30-45 minutes per walk. And I am so glad and proud of myself that I admitted it was too much early enough. 😊
Thank you, Vera! I can't always afford my glorious Japanese sencha or my lovely beeswax tealights, but I am so nourished by them when I can. I am fortunate to have a garden where I rent, and as soon as Spring arrives in Canada I pick hellebores and miniature daffodils and put them in small glasses around the house. Fresh garden flowers are a self-care delight. Like you, I love reading and staying home, so visiting the library once or twice a week gets me out and chatting with strangers. I have a warm drink in the afternoon too and ensure I do nothing else as I'm enjoying it. I feel so blessed to live at a gentle pace, to be in silence and to see the beauty of nature. You have sparked my interest in a pedicure, what a neat idea. I hope to join your Patreon community soon. You and your messages are gifts I wish to support. All the best.
Thanks for this video. There are always good reminders of self care. As far as “lie” or “lay”, it would be lie down. Lay would be if you are placing something onto an area. It’s ok either way. The pronunciation for either has changed for me, also. I don’t think I pronounce it correctly, but it’s difficult to change the habit after all these years. Not vital. Thank you again. ❤️
Love your channel Vera ❤ Spring is around the corner here on the Canadian prairies, thank goodness :) Something I find peaceful and uplifting is to walk barefoot around my yard for several minutes every day. Just to feel the earth beneath my feet and to express appreciation for the birds, the plants, and all of nature, really contributes to my self care :)
Lieve Vera, deze video is zo goed en fijn. Ik voel me zo gelijkwaardig. Dank! 🍀🌸
I have a ginger and cinnamon tea each morning with breakfast.. I make it from grounded spices. During late morning, I have a set tea break for 15 minutes. Helps to relax and focus. My exercise is the pool. I walk for 20 minutes and find it helps myself focus ❤
Hello! I am an HSP watching you from Spain ❤ I am now in my 40's and I wish I had learned how to take care of my needs and giving myself space to balance and center when I was much younger! It is never too late and I am happy to incorporate these ideas in my life now. Wonderful video, thank you ❤
I agree with all of these! Selfcare is so important and comes in many forms🥰 For me meditation is also a really big one and I do it every day no matter what! And as I was watching this video I realised that following and surrounding yourself with people that make you feel good and inspired is also selfcare. So YOU are actually a part of my selfcare and I watch all your videos on youtube and patreon because they always leave me feeling more calm, inspired and connected to my values😊 Watching your videos is always such a blissfull moment of my week and I'm really grateful ❤ And I just want you to know that I will watch all your videos on both channels as long as you make them - they do make a difference and you make this world a better place with your beautiful and wise soul. I really hope you understand how absolutely amazing you are and how much your content has made so many lives better in so many ways , including mine!💕
Dude! (Sorry, showing my American Westcoast upbringing there) I love that you "read" books as a little kid, I did that too. My parents thought I was actually reading until they saw that I was turning the pages at the wrong time for the words and realized I had memorized them
❤ thank you! I had a diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis and currently have plantar fasciitis (footpain) and it started affecting my toe nails too. I will listen to you to get a proper pedicure. Dank je wel Vera! Ik ben bijna 50 maar leer van jouw videos. 🎉❤
I recently added a long morning routine, time every day for cleaning the house and time for working out that are now non-negotiable because it helps me have beter days, so I preform better
This is one of the best videos I’ve seen thank you for sharing your personal tips. I have them all written down now to try and add my own . I’m always very inspired to take care of myself after watching your videos in general but this one was perfect. So wonderful 💜
I agree! I didn't add meditation to my list since I can't really say it's a non-negotiable for me, since there are months that go by when I hardly meditate. But also months when I do, haha. It always helps.
Thank you Vera. I always enjoy your soothing content. Yes, reading, even before I could read, my mom read to me every night. As for lay/ lie; the correct verb is "lying on a sofa, beach, etc. Whereas lay, is used when laying an object down - lain.
Pluk van de Petteflet was my favourite book as a kid as well! I even remember often playing the Pluk van de Petteflet boardgame with my little brother. Thank you for the inspiring video, hope you have an amazing day!
My number one self-care is meditation & prayer. It grounds me first thing in the morning before I go about my day. And at the end of the day so my heart and subconcious is at peace to have a good sleep and wake up open and ready for the new day.
Oh wow, thank you so much for this amazing superthanks!!! I so appreciate it and I'm happy you enjoyed the video. Again, thank you so much!!! Wishing you a wonderful day
Thanks so much. At the moment as a mom, is to get quality sleep which is hard because I'm going thru perimenopause. And drinking enough throughout the day to stay hydrated ❤
Really enjoyed this video. My non -negotiables are starting my day with Yoga with Adriene, walking my dog and a relaxing, healthy dinner with my husband.
A much needed piece of advice for me rt now… was lil bit down for a couple of days but I started to restore my routine listening to ur soothing voice 💞
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video and that you're started restoring your routine again! I think it's natural to feel a bit down every now and then, just a sign to take good care and do the things that can help you feel better day after day :) Take care!
Your content ; especially this video; has really been helpful. I have always felt lazy or unproductive when taking time out for self. Now however even starting my morning with some deep breathing & stretching sets me up for a bit more calm in my day . I also do not use social media or start phone calls unless there is an emergency at certain times in the evening and morning .
It's so important to cherish your daily life! That makes up most of our days, so it's necessary to feel comfortable being with oneself and to care for one's own good. Very nice vlog, I'd love to see more of the positive selfcare!
In practice, shower, brush teeth, clean clothes, sleep, hydration, clean eating (unless fasting for health) and prayer because however late it is or sick i am or even if i have a 2hr layover on a transatlantic flight, i will find a way! Then I'm on a good foundation.
I agree with your self care priorities and choices. I relate to almost everything you discuss in your videos. I also have a hard time going out. So true that things get out of balance if we stay home too many days in a row. I am in a major life transition right now and trying to work on personal growth. You are a lovely person inside and out. Thank you for your supportive, inspiring videos! 😊
Love this super comforting and supportive...I really need my own space and ur you tube channel encourages me to prioritise self care so I can be at my best xxx
Thanks a bunch! Ms. Vera for sharing.🤗 You're definitely my go-to RUclips content creator for an extra motivation & mood booster. You're a source of great inspiration. Keep it up! dear.😊💜
❤ thank you Vera. I needed your video today and I am already relaxed and ready to enjoy my day beautifully 😊. I have always loved your content. Thank you so so much for all the content you create.
I reasonate with many of these. Most of all not over scheduling. Thank you for inspiring me to create my own list of non negotiable for self-care! Having such a list will help me to remind myself that these are as essential to my wellbeing and not just nice to dos. This will help me to do them more and also explain to others the ‘why’.
Vera! Your channel is so good! I love all your input. I do many of these but am always searching to be better. I appreciate all you offer to everyone!💕
I enjoyed this video Vera 😊, great tips as well.👍 Like you say sometimes the self care is not always immediately obvious, but it is more beneficial for long term results. I agree it’s much easier to keep the flow going on whatever it is you’re doing, because unfortunately if I can’t do my exercise or whatever because I’m unwell, then it’s sooooo much harder to have to restart it again later on. 😳 Obviously I have to try to take care of my health and I now know when I can push beyond something (like a cold),or if I need to listen to my body. If my body says I should rest, then I rest. I’ve found following your previous advice of Reducing screen time, monitoring your calendar to be very beneficial. I find that being in nature, reading and practising self care is not a waste of time at all or just being self indulgent! it’s important as it helps me to get the balance right in as many areas of my life as possible, and this is so important. Thank you ❤
I appreciate a lot that your videos are quality over quantity! 😊 So often, when I see your videos, I notice all the details, love and thoughts you put into your work and it calms me and makes me happy 🥰
You articulate such important insight to lead a healthy and satisfying lifestyle- Thank you for making positive ripples throughout this audience and beyond 🍵🦋
Great video. Self care is so important and definitely not selfish. I am a fan of Green tea too. As for lay and lie.....you can say (Past tense) "Yesterday I lay in bed until 8am." (Future tense) "I want to lie in bed until 8am tomorrow". Hope that helps. Thanks for the video today. A great start to my weekend. 🙏
I try to journal at least 2-3 times per week to check in w/ myself and stay centered. Ideally I could do this every day, but its more realistic for 2-3 times per week.
You have so much wisdom for a young lady, I truly LOVE your videos, your voice is so calming and your advice is very clear, simple and practical! Would you consider making a video of your favorite books (fictions & nonfictions)?
Aw thank you so much! 🤗🌱🍵 I do have some videos about that on my Patreon, and I also shared a few favorites in my 2023 favorites video, in case you missed that one: ruclips.net/video/VmBetFrHhWM/видео.html
Another thing with your period and the dentist is that you might be more sensitive to pain and feel sore after a gum cleaning or need more shots if you're getting a filling or something done too. Same with tweezing or waxing. It's interesting how all of that works. I definitely need to prioritize self care and stop seeing it like a reward like someone else mentioned.
YESS!!! I get much more sensitive to pain, my gums can get a bit inflamed too, due to a drop in my immune system. So I will never go to the dentist during my period, haha. :) Also, good luck with prioritizing self care more!
I have a lot of difficulty in doing the simplest things for myself. Everyone from family to friends depend on me and are constantly needing a junk of my time. When I do have a moment, it is difficult not to just sit and procrastinate because I’m so tired.
Surprise! 😁 My new video is up a day early. 🍵
Thank you Vera. 🎈❤️🥳🎉
It is always a bliss to see and listen to you 🥰
the friday motivation I didn't know I needed 😅
You are such a lovely human. Appreciate you!
I have very much appreciated you over the years. Would you do a video on jobs for highly sensitive people?
22:05
I'm still learning to not view self-care as a reward. We are worthy just the way we are. ❤ Thanks for another soothing inspirational video. 😊
Yes! It's a journey :)
I feel like my favourite self-care is when I declutter my home and get rid of toxic people.
I observe a weekly Sabbath on Saturday: no working, no shopping, no cleaning. Just resting, reading or quiet hobbies. Sometimes, there is a foot soak or facial mask but usually just resting. This is actually what God intends for us: a weekly day of rest to recharge.
Amen!
I seem to have extended my Sabbath to 7 days a week. 😇
I 100% agree with this. Super important for humans to have one day of just doing nothing. We really do need that “break” in the weeks.
I firmly believe in observing the Sabbath, as well. God really knows what we need.😊
I'm an old lady who loves. your show. I've been a sensitive person since long before it was a thing, lol. I want to compliment you for your language skills. I'm a retired teacher and I know many young Americans who can't speak English as well as you do. I think you're a remarkable, lovely young woman.
Aw thank you so much for your kind comment!! 😊❤ I really appreciate that. And I'm so happy you enjoy my videos. Take care and have a wonderful day! 🤗🌷

Napping can be so great :) I will sometimes try it for 30 minutes and it can really help
My self-care non-negotiables are daily exercise, daily watercolor painting, nightly evening walks, and weekly therapy.
I love going outside and looking at the sky. It's so vast and I am so tiny in comparison it helps me get things into proportion.
Wonderful! :)
Strong is not someone who is strong 100% of the time, but someone who knows how to rise up every time they are knocked down.
"We are human beings, not human doings", wow thank you. You can articulate your words so well!
Daily walks are a must for me. Biggest impact on the day.
Awesome! :)

So great for their brains !! 🩷🩷🩷 encourages divergent thinking which is creativity and problem solving.

For me it's Yoga, I really try to do it every day, even if it's just 5 or 10 minutes in the morning it influences my whole day 🧘🏻♀🪷
Yoga is so wonderful :)

Those sound lovely 🥰❤️
True self-care is not a luxury or treat and certainly not commercial. Don't be hijacked, very true!
My ultimate self-care consists of hugging my husband and playing with my cats.
No matter how difficult the day, I'm relieved to be surrounded by people I love, including my cats.

❤ hey, Vivienne. I am from Canada too and loving the bloom that has started.
Hey there!@@niharikarajnala1856 fellow Canadian! Isn't it lovely. Tulip spikes and lots of hope. Thanks for saying 'Hello'.

The most confusing for me is that lay is also the past tense of lie... *brain explodes*

Yes. Totally agree. Recently I felt I am experiencing Depression. Need to get back up quickly and prevent sinking further...

En ik leer veel van jou inspiratie. Dank! 🍀🌸
Ah superlief, dankjewel Eveline! Fijne zondag!
I have a ginger and cinnamon tea each morning with breakfast.. I make it from grounded spices. During late morning, I have a set tea break for 15 minutes. Helps to relax and focus. My exercise is the pool. I walk for 20 minutes and find it helps myself focus ❤
Awesome! And a tea made from ginger and cinnamon is also really healthy :)
Hello! I am an HSP watching you from Spain ❤
I am now in my 40's and I wish I had learned how to take care of my needs and giving myself space to balance and center when I was much younger!
Aw thank you so much for taking the time to write this and for your support on YT and Patreon!!! ❤️🤗🌱🍵
Dude! (Sorry, showing my American Westcoast upbringing there)
I love that you "read" books as a little kid, I did that too.
My parents thought I was actually reading until they saw that I was turning the pages at the wrong time for the words and realized I had memorized them
Oh how I'd love to be able to plan all my periods for the year, jealous lol
Zen practice, eating and moving for brain health, boundaries around my time, a clean and uncluttered space, keep learning and going on adventures.
Both fictional and non fictional is great . I have been getting back to my reading habit recently and it’s a huge help in distressing my work life.😊
Also, I really like the way you put things (phrasing).
Your videos are very helpful
I recently added a long morning routine, time every day for cleaning the house and time for working out that are now non-negotiable because it helps me have beter days, so I preform better
This is one of the best videos I’ve seen thank you for sharing your personal tips. I have them all written down now to try and add my own . I’m always very inspired to take care of myself after watching your videos in general but this one was perfect. So wonderful 💜
Aw thank you so much for your kind words!! 🤗🌱🌺
I love a clean home with things that only spark joy. Meditation helps relaxation - even a 5 or 15 minutes one
I like that you thrive off what works best for you
Thanks, Patreons!
🤗❤️
Reading, yes!!! ❤❤❤ That is definitely my no.1 self-care activity.
Lay/lie... those verbs are the most confusing. 🤣😂
😂
I swear we’re sisters from different mothers. ❤ You are wise beyond your years.
This is the most authentic and inspiring self-care video! Thank you!
Aw thank you so much! :) Have a lovely day
A much needed piece of advice for me rt now… was lil bit down for a couple of days but I started to restore my routine listening to ur soothing voice 💞
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video and that you're started restoring your routine again! I think it's natural to feel a bit down every now and then, just a sign to take good care and do the things that can help you feel better day after day :) Take care!
❤❤❤ our video visits together. I’ve been in a rough season and health flare, so your gentle pep talk is truly appreciated 😊
Listening to this while giving myself a pedicure at home 😊 I really like the suggestions here
Ah cool!! :)
Have been slipping on my self care. Thank you for the reminders❤
It's so important to cherish your daily life! That makes up most of our days, so it's necessary to feel comfortable being with oneself and to care for one's own good. Very nice vlog, I'd love to see more of the positive selfcare!
I agree! :) Thanks for sharing, have a lovely day!
Aw thank you for the kind words, and wishing you all the best with your life transition!!
Love this super comforting and supportive...I really need my own space and ur you tube channel encourages me to prioritise self care so I can be at my best xxx
So glad to hear it :) Take care and have a lovely day today!
Thanks a bunch! Ms. Vera for sharing.🤗 You're definitely my go-to RUclips content creator for an extra motivation & mood booster. You're a source of great inspiration. Keep it up! dear.😊💜
Aw thank you so much, I appreciate that :)
❤ thank you Vera. I needed your video today and I am already relaxed and ready to enjoy my day beautifully 😊. I have always loved your content. Thank you so so much for all the content you create.
Aw thank you so much 🤗❤️
I really want a whole video about your time management! I think it will be really interesting!
I just got back into the routine of exercise in my early 60s and it has been really good.
I need this self care thumbs up Vera simple vlog for self care❤❤❤
I reasonate with many of these. Most of all not over scheduling. Thank you for inspiring me to create my own list of non negotiable for self-care! Having such a list will help me to remind myself that these are as essential to my wellbeing and not just nice to dos. This will help me to do them more and also explain to others the ‘why’.
Number 1 is my favourite ❤
Vera! Your channel is so good! I love all your input. I do many of these but am always searching to be better. I appreciate all you offer to everyone!💕
I enjoyed this video Vera 😊, great tips as well.👍
Like you say sometimes the self care is not always immediately obvious, but it is more beneficial for long term results.
I agree it’s much easier to keep the flow going on whatever it is you’re doing, because unfortunately if I can’t do my exercise or whatever because I’m unwell, then it’s sooooo much harder to have to restart it again later on. 😳
Obviously I have to try to take care of my health and I now know when I can push beyond something (like a cold),or if I need to listen to my body.
So often, when I see your videos, I notice all the details, love and thoughts you put into your work and it calms me and makes me happy 🥰
Aw thank you so much, that's so nice to hear :) Have a lovely day!
Spot on! Thanks so much. Reading is a daily habit for my hubby and myself we started at an early age. x's lj
Love it! :)
You articulate such important insight to lead a healthy and satisfying lifestyle- Thank you for making positive ripples throughout this audience and beyond 🍵🦋
Aw thank you 🤗❤️
Great video. 🙏
Thank you, great video
Thanks so much! :)
I try to journal at least 2-3 times per week to check in w/ myself and stay centered. Ideally I could do this every day, but its more realistic for 2-3 times per week.
Yes I agree about reading books.I do it everyday😊Love love it❤
I love how accessible these tips are ❤ have a great day!
Glad to hear it! :) The easier, simpler and more accessible things are, the better :) Because then it's easier to do them frequently
@@SimpleHappyZen awesome!! I’m a new subscriber so I will check it out!! Thank you!!🙏❤️
You are such a beautiful person and I appreciate your shared insight so much. I regularly look forward to your videos.
Aw thank you so much for your kind comment :)
Loved this video! Thank you !
Thank you so much :)
Great subjects explained in a simple and intelligent way x
I like your content. Thanks so much for doing this!❤❤❤
You're so welcome, have a lovely day today! :)
@@SimpleHappyZen thanks
Another thing with your period and the dentist is that you might be more sensitive to pain and feel sore after a gum cleaning or need more shots if you're getting a filling or something done too. Same with tweezing or waxing. It's interesting how all of that works.
I definitely need to prioritize self care and stop seeing it like a reward like someone else mentioned.
YESS!!! I get much more sensitive to pain, my gums can get a bit inflamed too, due to a drop in my immune system. So I will never go to the dentist during my period, haha. :) Also, good luck with prioritizing self care more!
Thank you Vera, I found this very interesting and sensible.
Glad to hear it! :) Take care and have a lovely day
Thanks so much for sharing your encouragement.
I have a lot of difficulty in doing the simplest things for myself. Everyone from family to friends depend on me and are constantly needing a junk of my time. When I do have a moment, it is difficult not to just sit and procrastinate because I’m so tired.
I’ll need to keep these self care ideas in mind for this weekend. 💖
Nice, enjoy!! ❤️
Love my monthly pedi’s and manicures. ❤
Love your video! Thank you for your encouraging words and thoughts❤
