Thanks a lot, very good job explaining the process. I need to do the same job on my 2003 coupe.

Plastic doesn't rust, but the leaking orange Rain-X washer fluid does dry that color!

I have question,my air condition is not working on the passenger side of my C-5 Corvette do you know what that could be from?

By not working, do you mean there is no air blowing out on that side or the air is not cold?

This usually happens after disconnecting the battery. But make sure you have the dual climate control knob turned to the blue side of the dial for the passenger side HVAC. Otherwise, the HVAC blend doors may need to be re-calibrated. This is for recalibrating "dual-climate control" style systems only. To do so, depending on the year and HVAC fuse location. For 2001-2004 C5, it is fuse #27, but for '97-'99 I believe it is fuse #51.
1:Turn OFF car, 2: Remove the passenger side foot well cover and access the fuse box. 3: Remove "HVAC" fuse #27. 4: Start car and wait a few seconds. 5: Re-insert HVAC fuse and DO NOT touch climate controls. The climate control will begin to re-calibrate the blend doors and after a few seconds the blower fan will turn on automatically and begin to adjust interior temperature to the default temperature of 73°. Let the car run for a few minutes with the A/C running on automatic temperature control. After a few minutes, turn off the climate control and then turn off car. It should be recalibrated. If this does not work, it usually means that the passenger side blend door motor is defective and needs to be serviced or replaced.
You can check all engine, transmission, ABS, radio and HVAC fault codes by holding the "Option" button on the DIC and pressing the "Fuel" button 4 times. The DIC (driver information center) is to the right of the gauge cluster. Be sure to video record the readout on your dash using your phone so you can access the codes as much as needed. ruclips.net/video/BDkEKjH9yQA/видео.html
