I recently purchased a Cardo Edge Pro. I fully charged it prior to use. Charge your cardo 100% prior to use. Too bad this guy made such a bid deal about battery failure, since he admits to being 100% ignorant about fully charging the unit prior to 1st time use. My sense is that he probably never fully charged the cardo's that had problems, but that he did small charges at all those gas stations he talks about I am tired of people bad mouthing products when it isn't the product but user ignorance. Using the Cardo app on your iPhone is a powerful way to control your Cardo Edge Pro.

My initial purchase of the Edge the battery only lasted a few weeks before it bricked. I sent it back and the second lasted me about a year before the battery went from FULL to DEAD in three hours. In all Cardo has lasted less than three years. I suspect Cardo will tell me to buy a new unit.

Now it's time to get the car buffed and pray all the scratches come out.

Wow man, I can’t believe changing the battery fixed my fluctuating RPM problem. I thought for sure the transmission was shot. I bought a new accelerator pedal first but that didn’t fix anything. I noticed my battery wasn’t starting the truck in cold weather. I bought a new battery today and the fluctuating RPM went away. Absolutely shocked that fixed the problem.. I also disconnected that voltage regulator you talk about in another video. I tried just doing that first but the battery was the culprit. Thank you so much for posting this video, you saved me a lot of money

Wife's 2018 Armada Platinum. Replaced battery Mar/2023 due to a dead start (dead battery after 3 days in cold). Boosted, then then had dealer swap out battery. Now (Jan/2025) it did same thing again, after only 3h in cold.

I traded in my 2005 Armada and got a used 2019 Armada. I've had problems from the get-go with it and am beyond frustrated. I need a dependable vehicle. I've had it at rhe dealership about 3 times and they have no clue, I've only had it to the Nissan dealership once and the nice man I spoke to suggested that I run my wipers on short trips but never mentioned the smart alternator. We did our own research and a few friends also mentioned it. So, we've disconnected it but I'm still having to carry around a charge box for it because it will randomly not start. Even though the battery, starter, and alternator all register as "good" should I replace my battery? I've only made 2 payments now on this 'new to me' vehicle and I'm almost sick about it. I hate to pop my hood everywhere I go and charge it and explain to people that's I'm fine, it's just a known issue that we can't fix.

I'm very happy to have stumbled upon your video. I've just taken my '21 V4S for a quick ride, being 1st January and all. The first braking was literally scary, as the lever had come back all the way to my fingers on the 'bar... But the as soon as i braked another, all was good. But the biting point constantly changes, unless every now and again i brake... It's obviously ridiculous and dangerous as well... I'll speak to my dealer tomorrow (well if they are open considering New Year's Day etc. Thank you for making the video.

They must change the design to allow the display to be removed quickly (cradle).

Just bought a 2024 SX190 with 9 hours. Can't wait until June to try it out. Great dealer! Would not sell it to me until we tried it out first, in October. Another test ride in May or June. I have already paid and am studying the owners manual. Great video!

Good video that shows how the system works. You can see in the video though around 3:24 where there is a slot in the backing plate that allows this adjustment to be done without removing the caliper or rotor.

so i recently got the Cardo Palktalk Pro and I am STRUGGLING to find a helmet that the 45mm JBL speakers will fit in.😭 i came across the Scorpion EXO-R1 Air Carbon(Matte) that's in stock in my size with the speaker cutouts measuring as.. 42MM Height X 48MM Width X 7.5MM Depth and my question is with what you showed on your helmet at time 14:01, do you think that i could potentially make it work with that helmet without having to potentially jeopardize the protective integrity of the helmet's foam shell..? i seriously look forward to and will appreciate your response as your video is the closest thing to potentially confirming my next helmet or not haha!

So, new running lights give a soft flicker-flame effect? I think the OEM running lights are too small & have way too little luminosity -- so, I've tried a simple super bright LED replacement. ZEVO 3157R work to increase blinker rate but don't do much to improve the run light output.

People are going to find out real quick that these are scratching the shit out of your paint. You also need to be careful because these are also illegal on the road.

Nice job! I bought a 2024 Multi v4 s grand tour and about to buy an engine guards as well. It seems that the upper guards' bolts are going into the engine mounting bolts on both sides. I've read on some forum that one guy attached the engine guards to the motor on his BMW K1600. When he dropped the bike, it cracked the engine totaling his bike. Have you actually dropped your bike since your installed the engine guards? Thank you and be safe!

I'm going to make a prediction of course on this one since I have experience with consumer electronics going back over 40 years. I'm going to say you ended up with a couple of bad battery batches in a row because it's not really anything to do with the situation in Ukraine because they will literally just shut the production line down. If it's that bad, I work with several manufacturers of high-tech products that are based in Ukraine and they make excellent stuff both design, quality and performance wise. So my best guess is you just literally Drew an incredibly bad lottery of a couple of bad units in a row regarding battery performance. So yeah, bad cell as you called. It is very likely the culprit because they've been designing and making these things way too long for it to be a systemic issue with the circuit board or battery management software as this is very well known technology but definitely keep us posted on your third unit as I'm just now going to be installing and trying one out myself as soon as we can get some warmer riding days here in the cold East Tennessee mountains.

hey Chris, I'm not sure if this is a temporary setup on that mto 3 but the mto 3 has rubber valve stems, just like my MT10. the weight of those sensors will rip that valve right out of its base and you will get a flat! Change to metal valve stems immediately!

You don’t have a Fumoto valve on your drain port? It’s a game changer, makes for tool less oil changes!

I went from a '02 Z06 to a Coupe '04 and could not be more happy with the change. EVERYTHING special to the z06 is way too expensive and hard to source, compared to the standard Coupe. The Coupe has a better road driving experience, and with more storage, cheaper parts, softer ride and in my view , better looks, than the previous Z06. I'd not trade back, and I feel guilty that I got such a great deal on the Coupe, selling the Z06 for more than 10k from what I paid for the Coupe. Free corvette, basically !

is there pressure on your ears from the speakers as they a bit thicker?

Just did this on my 2024 platinum armada. Hopefully no issues. It sounds louder when starting thats for sure, but it still sits at 13.5ish
