The Multi V4 was so ahead of everything else when it came out, they haven’t need to make too many changes, a lot of what is new in the press release has been taken from the V4 Rally and filtered to the other models. I owned a V4S and upgraded to a V4 Rally because all of the little changes and the larger fuel capacity make it a better bike. Looking forward to the next Multi major overhaul, I guess that won’t be coming for at least another couple of years.
Great video! Thanks for posting. I've got about 25k on my '22 V4s and made several major trips from the PNW to the midwest. Great bike! Good question as to what I would want to add....hmmmmmm, don't have a clue, just love riding my V4S!
I bought a Rally earlier this year and some of the software updates you mention are already installed (engine braking adjustment for example). The other changes?...with the exception of the bigger rear brake, I'm not sure I'd actually notice them because I'm just an average rider that rides a few thousand miles a year and I'm not riding daily - besides, it's already a fabulous machine. I do like the dark grey colour scheme though... I'm ordering myself some wrap I think!
The Rally was absolutely a test bed for a lot of these changes! It's interesting how Ducati puts out the changes in phases. The Rally is an awesome machine (a bit taller than I'm comfortable with personally), enjoy!
A more confortable seat option, better ( more powerfull lights) better sounding exaust ( stock one) and the 6 th gear longer for better fuel economy on highway
Agreed. I like the extended cylinder deactivation with the fuel savings, but that doesn't help at highway speeds. I would love to see Ducati reasonably address this.
Hey. What about a transmision? There is new ratio for 6th gear. That is what you have been asking for 😊. And not only you. This is the biggest improvement for me.
Hi there , love your videos I have a 2022 v4s full and I love it but the Ducati connect is the biggest let down for me . After all the up dates to the bike it’s still ,how do I put this shit I’ve had nothing but trouble with it . Phone connect to the bike straight away but that’s as far as it gets. So I hope they have fixed the trouble or just get rid of it all together, keep up the great work.
I was really hoping that the Ducati connect system would have been revamped with this refresh and Android auto/ Apple carplay added. Unfortunately, I think we will have to wait to the next generation to see that come to light.
Pretty upsetting, definitely one of the most prolific criticisms of this generation. From my conversations with Ducati, the issue rests with the Bosch unit they use for Bluetooth and WiFi. As I imagine there are a ton of certifications and fees required to have those units approved, I doubt we'll see that change until the next full redesign
Maybe, this has started to become commonplace on electric vehicles but has not really made its way to the general market. I'm not sure of any other motorcycles that have this technology and I'm not sure how many motorcycle riders would be so critical over the quality and particular type of camera installed. There are so many aftermarket options people seem to prefer. I equate that to the built-in comm systems on helmets. They are usually trash, people prefer their own brands and quality units and these systems just make helmets more expensive and more cumbersome to mount third-party units.
Should have been a automatic transmission or semi automatic, the ASA 1300 GS will be slapping all Multistrada owners off the line and in general be more comfortable. And still no Apple Carplay and Android Auto is a joke.

Couldn't agree more!

Adding a slightly larger gas tank would have been great.

@@4KMotoringmine v4 rally has all of that and a 30 litre tank.

That wasn't mentioned in the release, where did you hear that??
@@4KMotoring Wierd. I saw that on Ducati webside, but it is not there now. So sorry for hoax.

Love your sticker kit, where did you get it?
If you search my channel, I made a video about it. All of the product information should be there
The should’ve included the larger tank on the touring model.
100% agreed. 250+ highway mile range (however they want to accomplish that) and Android Auto/ Apple Carplay connectivity.
Corner lights?
It still has them, but they haven't changed for the 2025 model
Solid updates. Sygic mapping still exists which is crap. 2024 should have Apple or Android Car play. How was this overlooked?

Still missing factory fitted front & rear cameras.

I wish they'd gone to apple carplay or android auto...
I'm hopeful we'll see that in next generation
What I wish changed is the front no longer looking like a giant bird head

I'm not totally sold on the automatic idea, but I was absolutely hoping for Android Auto!
